Nunca fui atendida en español al momento de tomar el servicio. Firmé un contrato que no vi físicamente, solo acepté algo en una pantalla sin explicaciones claras. Posteriormente me lo enviaron por correo, pero desde el inicio no tenía claridad absoluta de los términos reales del compromiso que estaba adquiriendo.
Pagué mi primer mes completo. Unas semanas después sufrí un accidente automovilístico que afectó mi movilidad, transporte e ingresos. Llamé de inmediato para exponer mi dificultad, explicando que no tendría vehículo ni estabilidad financiera para continuar. No recibí atención clara ni seguimiento a lo que planteé.
Un mes después, por la misma dificultad de movilizarme a mi trabajo, perdí mi empleo y el gimnasio canceló mi contrato sin un canal claro de respuesta o consideración a mi situación.
Mi intención siempre fue ejercitar mi cuerpo y mejorar mi salud, nunca entrar en conflictos. Terminé aceptando condiciones desde una pantalla por falta de información, y con el tiempo enfrenté consecuencias que nunca fueron explicadas con claridad ni en mi idioma.
Dejo este registro para dejar constancia como consumidora y porque es importante que todas las personas puedan entender lo que firman y reciban atención justa, clara y humana, especialmente en su idioma.

Nice gym, but was way under engineeredwhen it was built. Its way too small an the equipment is crammed so tight you can hardly move. Just recently replaced the good precore elliptical machines with some garbage life fitness brands. Ive started driving 20 minutes further just to go to ogdens gym. Its a a bit older but way better maintained, and a lot more space.

The coaches are great. The facility for the price feels pretty run down. Men's locker room. They pulled the TV's out of the walls and just left exposed wires and putty up. Not the cleanest locer rooms either. The pool can be nice but the temperature is never the same. They constantly have problems keeping it warm. Alot of treadmills either are missing e stop so u can't use it or broken. I would think of the volume of people in and out of there it could be better maintained.

Seriously? Why would Vasa take away such well loved cycling classes?? They’re getting greedy. Everything is about the ridiculously priced Studio classes now. They’re taking the whole cycling schedule away to put in Studio Lift. As if Studio Red isn’t enough. I’m getting close to jumping ship and heading to EOS! There was SUCH a fun cycling community at this location before this really poorly thought through change.

I love this gym, the classes are great!! The studio red and bodypump classes get you in shape fast, and they are fun! The studio red coaches are amazing, they are all so nice and help you feel motivated! Definitely would recommend this gym

This place and Vasa as a whole has been a nightmare for me the past 7 months. I joined and was excited about personal training. The head trainer, Jeremy, was irresponsible and had a clear lack of respect or concern for anyone's time. One of the people at the front desk was so racist that he would not look up to greet me or respond to me when I would try to ask him something. I froze my membership until I was able to go to another location, Orem. The trainers there were so so great, especially Lily. Unfortunately, I had an accident and tore 3 ligaments on my foot. My doctor asked me to not be in the gym because I needed surgery and couldn't and still can't put any weight on my foot or leg. Vasa would not let me freeze the account or use my unused personal trainings later on. I currently have a 2600 bill with them that has gone to a law firm, and have had to hire an agency to represent me against them. Vasa is a complete scam. Ashamed and disgusted.

Most of the workers are really great and nice they are just inconsistent. I’ve seen some kids who are well under the age of 12 be let in while others aren’t. The bathrooms are also pretty dirty and need to be cleaned more. For the amount of money we all pay things should be clean and not broken. Danielle, Carrie and both Heidi’s are all really great and amazing coaches!!

I was in town due to a pcs move with the military and visiting family. I was advised by family and friends I could use a trail pass for the three days needed to maintain readiness. However upon arrival I was told that due to not living in the area I was unable to use their facilities unless I purchased a day pass for 15$. I get paying but 15$ a day for three days would pay for a full month at most gyms. All I needed was a 45 minute workout. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to any of my colleagues if they were living or passing through Utah.

Kevin is such an awesome worker at VASA! He’s always professional, approachable, and goes out of his way to make sure members feel welcome and taken care of. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed help, he’s been quick to step in and handle it with kindness and respect. You can tell he truly cares about the gym and the people in it. It makes a huge difference having someone like Kevin running things—it creates such a positive and motivating atmosphere.

I’ve been going to VASA for 2 years now and I love the friendly staff, the gym layout, and the cleanliness of the equipment. I appreciate how the cleaning wipes are substantial enough to actually clean the equipment and mats you’re using, unlike other gyms I’ve been to. I love the cycle and flow yoga classes, which says a lot cuz I’ve never been a big yoga person before this. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because they need more floor mats and more floor space.

Like the other negative reviews, mine ALSO revolves around the cancellation process. I needed to cancel and they add an extra cancellation fee, plus you have to pay the full month fee (not pro-rated), plus they throw in some annual membership fee because you won't be around to pay that at the end of the year. The con continues, they try and get you to Freeze the account month-to-month which is a lower penalty, but if you end up deciding to cancel anyway, throw all those other fees on top! It's quite the racket. People have circumstances that change in their lives (injuries, changing schedules, life), and if this business isn't able to be flexible to accommodate the market, there are plenty of other options.

I hope I'm spelling this right, but the worker by the name Cameron creates a culture at this gym that's awesome! This is the only review I have ever written. Thank you for making me feel seen, safe, and fit. Keep up the good work and being the kind person you are. You will go far if you continue to treat people the way you do. eight three dollar fees in the past couple months! they say it's for "late cancellation" and don't specify it's for being late to class or canceling class reservation too late. (late/cancellation) -on multiple occasions class was actually attended - the instructor failed check in?!? the system failed check in?!? the clock in the system is wrong?!? ... certainly the clinton vasa has a problem with their clocks- just take a look around the gym. if there are six clocks there they're probably displaying six different times. Avoid this $3 fee nonsense... don't schedule class. I asked about this the first month I noticed the charges and thought the problem was solved. Still no refunds or credits though. The first month I just kinda sucked it up due to the small dollar amount and the fact that i'm dealing with corporate greed and hassle of getting a refund- VASA rendered no service for several of those fees. Today is the last time I'm reaching out to VASA, if they can't fix this I'll have to go through the hassle of changing my credit card just to block their charges. This all is really not that different than the ole ridiculous blockbuster fees-

The gym is fine, but their cancellation process is a scam, including obscure fees hidden in the contract fine print designed to extract fees through technicalities. Very poor customer service and bad business practices left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would recommend using one of the many different gym options in the area that are more transparent.

I've been a member since 2017 and have always loved the gym. However, since the government has sent everyone back to in person work, 5am isn't early enough for me to be able to still go here before work. I and hoping and praying they start opening at 4am like the rest of the locations do. Clinton has been open for a long time, so I wonder why it's different hours than the rest. 4am at EOS right down the street is super busy.

Overall great place to workout! I love the flow classes but they don’t offer many restore classes which are wonderful to reset your nervous system. The massage chairs are often broken and there are not enough of them, but when I can get on one they are a treat. Pool water feels cold every time I try aqua class but I try to bear it sometimes. I think the instructors are wonderful for group x and many of them have become more like my friends!

I was really impressed by how clean and well-maintained the locker room was. Everything was spotless, from the floors to the sinks. It smelled fresh, was fully stocked with supplies, and clearly gets regular attention. Definitely one of the cleanest public restrooms I’ve come across!

Just recently I was in room one tanning and literally filth in it took my tan time out to get on my hands and knees than had only 4 mins to tan didn't know that even when you pause it that it would still run . Now I'm fully dressed about to grab my water bottle and bag when the guy up front pounds on the door walks away I immediately open it say yes? There was another gentleman at the desk as well telling me I'm ok .. so I grabbed my stuffed walked over to the front desk the guy that did the pounding hand nothing to say for himself i go on and explain that I actually was cleaning there mess up before my tan time started . He responded oh is that what you where doing in there ? I wasn't holding anyone up nobody was even in the room next to mine ! Just a heads up to anyone that's tanning...you might get a bald guy who's supposedly the best up front to pound so loud your heart will drop only to have an excuse from another employee that they have to check the doors after so long .. I can assure you I wasn't in there any longer than 8 min and that is pushing it !

The gym is fine and all but I’m here to give their daycare staff, specifically Megan, a million stars. My 15 month old has never been away from me. The first few days Megan let me stay in and she worked at getting my boy warmed up to her. Now we are working on me leaving and she always sticks right by his side. It makes me feel so comfortable knowing there is someone there that loves what they do and is trying their best to help my baby. Thank you!

Vasa in Clinton is a solid gym - clean, well-equipped, and has everything you need to get a good workout in. Plenty of machines, free weights, two spaces with turf and good classes too. The vibe is always chill, and the staff keeps the place running smoothly.
Big shoutout to Yessenia at the front desk! She’s always super friendly and makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. Plus, being bilingual helps a lot—having someone who speaks Spanish makes things way easier for a lot of people. It’s just nice to have someone who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile for members.
Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a great gym.

Really expensive. It’s busy and there are hidden fees. Also, my husband forgot his basketball there and we think someone stole it. It even had his name on it so it’s not hard to miss. We asked a couple of times if it was in the lost and found but they didn’t even check before saying no. Also, VASA policy won’t let them disclose their lost and found over the phone.

Great gym, especially for the price. I like the high ceilings and friendly staff. Never got anything but smiles from people working here. The equipment is in pretty good condition. Some machines are a little worn out but overall in great shape. Very clean. A bit busy when I go at 5:30 am, but I can usually still find the equipment I need.

"Feel'n the Burn and Loved It at VASA Fitness - Clinton!"
I visited VASA Fitness in Clinton on a free day trial with my son, who's a member—and wow, what an experience! The gym was clean, well-equipped, and had an upbeat vibe that made working out (almost) fun. My son showed me the ropes, as we tackled the weight machines and the free weight equipment.
While I felt strong and accomplished in the moment, I can already tell my muscles are plotting their revenge for tomorrow morning! If you're looking for a great workout space that challenges you (and gives you a heads-up about what soreness feels like), VASA is the place to go. Thanks for the great workout—I'll be back…once I recover!

For the most part I have been impressed. I mostly swim and sometimes use weights.
My concerns are: 1- absolutely no one showers before using the sauna and steam room. They also wear full street clothes to include hoodies and sneakers. It makes the sauna and steam room filthy. And yet people make fun of my jammers or speedo when I go in which according to the sign is the appropriate attire. Also people frequently use vapo rub in the steam room and it makes my lungs burn. 2- most of the shower drains are backed up and the shower handles are partially broken.
Even with all of that, I am still pleased to be apart of Vasa.

The lines in the parking lot are in desparate need of being repainted. They have been bad for a long time. It's to the point where you can't see them at all, especially early in the morning. Cars end up parking too close to others risking dings and damage. Please fix this.

Been a member to this gym since 2018. Since the spring I have been letting the staff know that a shower head is broken in the men’s locker room. Was told that a work order is on. All they did was put tape on it… well the tape has been off for months now and doing nothing but shooting water everywhere again. I let the staff know again that it’s still broken. Why is this so hard to fix??? I’ve been asking them to fix this for months. Planet fitness doesn’t even blow people off like this. Do better!!

Management is out of sync with members. Shut down the cinema room. Completely re-arranged gym equipment making some areas super crowded and other areas with wasted space. Member since 2019 and will be canceling membership. Additionally, guess privileges were taken away with no warning.

Everything is great staff and remodel wise but that’s it… the swimsuit dryer in the men’s locker room has been broken for weeks now, and the ungodly smell that has started in the pool and locker room areas is horrible. I cancelled my membership a year ago, they have record I have not been there since a year ago, but someone they had hired downgraded my membership and did not cancel it. Because I do not have something in writing cancelling my membership they will not refund my money, it's an old scam and they rely on you not noticing this charge until it's too late. The app did not work either, to cancel this, I have removed the app and will never be back to this business.

The pool and hot tub are closed half the time and even if they are open a lot of times the heater isn't working. Locker room showers tend to be dirty. I swim a lot and it was getting old to show up and not be able to swim so I decided to sign up for a different gym and they charged me $77 to cancel my membership even though I was told I could cancel for free after 6 months.

They will not tell you about any fees like annual and/or other charges that are of absolutely no mention when you sign up. They will not let you cancel a membership even if you do not have any money to pay their cancellation fee. The facility is really dirty, I understand it has been under some construction but this is more than construction dust. They are always out of the wipes around the weights and weight lifting machines. When I asked the front desk about it, they said their manager doesn’t order enough so they are always out. When I asked if they ever cleaned the machines, specifically the elliptical and bikes, the two employees tonight said there are daily lists but no one does the cleaning. They the proceeded to tell me about how this gym is neglected. That is apparent as they sit and laugh and talk to each other all night and no one ever leaves the front desk area.
Oh and the coach who yelled at me for getting a cleaning wipe out of his special cage since there were no other ones, you can go jump in a lake, you didn’t have a client and you were just standing up front talking to the staff until you decided to march over and tell us we couldn’t use 1 yes that is correct 1 wipe as they were only for coaches. Totally uncalled for and totally rude, especially when you were at the desk when I asked about the wipes.
Trying to convince my husband to go to a different vasa gym or go to a completely different gym as I think this place has a lot of work that needs to be done to make it sanitary at all. Hope Vasa corporate does some changes soon at this neglected gym.

I was a little skeptical joining a kind of "main stream" corporate gym. Thought it would be overpriced and a bit of a meat market! A bunch of svelte fitness buffs that I have zero in common with just being an avg person who just likes to work out to keep my energy level up, not have 1% body fat!
So far I have been very pleasantly surprised! The people there (and yes there are some 1% body fat peeps there) are so nice! The worst thing I have encountered is just people really focused on their workout who just ignore those around them (and there is nothing wrong with that!). A big mix of fitness levels are all around the gym. Most people just seem to be there for the exact reason you expect; to work out! No meat market or looks of shame!
The staff are all really great (Shout out to Steve who gave me a tour my first day and made me feel very welcome) and so helpful and kind! They all seem happy to be there and act like they enjoy their job!
I love the Fitness Cinema! You can watch a movie (nice and dark) while you work out on a variety of different cardio styles exercise machines. It is so cool in there! Temperature and mood! The only kind of complaint is they only seem to show Tim Burton movies for some odd reason. Not sure why? Maybe only one person picks the movie and they love Tim Burton? No idea, but I would really like to see a movie that doesn't have Johnny Dep and Helena Bonham Carter in it!
The other big perk for me is the massage chairs! They are AMAZING! You have to get at least the mid tear membership to have use of them. DO IT!!!! They are worth the membership fee all on their own!!!! They are so choice! You want access to them my friend!
Overall I think VASA (Clinton) is a great club no matter your fitness level or wants! I feel it's a fair price point for what you get (I have the mid tear membership, so I can only speak to VFM on that) and everyone from members to staff have been a positive interaction for me so far! If you were my friend I would tell you to join. If you feel this review helped you make a choice in VASA you could list me as a reference as a courtesy, but no pressure, not trying to get referrals via this review, just trying to offer my honest opinion!

This was my main gym for about 2 years. I love the staff and how everything is relatively clean (especially the locker rooms). The sauna and is great, and most machines are working properly! I canceled here to try and find a better gym, but nothing compares in the local area. I also had to deal with customer service once and they were really nice about it. Will be back. Also, it’s next to Winco if you need to pick up a few items on your way home :)

I’m writing this review for Virginia and Mandy and all the other women that work in the KidCare during the morning. They go ABOVE AND BEYOND for the children that go there. My four year old has been struggling with behavioral issues and i struggle with knowing how to handle those issues and how to change them. They both have worked on different ways to help us both with these issues like making behavior charts and to do list charts for both Kidcare AND home so we can all be on the same page with helping my son. I could NOT be more grateful for them and their help. They never make me feel judged or ashamed, which is something that happens frequently when my son goes anywhere. I’m so thankful for them and i am SO COMFORTABLE leaving my child in their care. They should honestly get a raise. All the women in there are so incredibly sweet and helpful. I never have a worry when i drop him off. They deserve all the recognition!!!

This five star review isn’t necessarily for Vasa, but Lexxi S. One of the employees working in their member service rep department. My daughter (17 at the time), signed up for a Vasa membership. Long story short, she lost her job, so I recommend that she cancel her membership. I didn’t get involved in the cancellation process because, at the time I was “loosening the reins,” so to speak. She thought she had successfully canceled the membership, but noticed her bank account was still being charged. She tried on multiple occasions to get this resolved, but failed at every attempt; that is when I got involved. Fortunately Lexxi, is the rep that answered my email. After explaining what had happened, Lexxi removed unjust fees, and an automatic renewal charge that had come out of my daughter’s account. Lexxi was very understanding, and read what were very lengthy emails from myself.
On a side note Vasa, like a lot of other gyms out there, really do need to stop preying on young adults with complicated contracts that nobody is reading. The Vasa reviews in my area are all under 2 stars, and I’m certain it’s because of the way they take advantage of people’s ignorance to the contract they’re signing. They need more employees like Lexxi S.

This is just a warning to those people thinking of starting a membership. If you ever have a family emergency and money issues and need to cancel your membership for any reason do not choose VASA. They charged my wife and I $90, $45 each, to lock our price at $25 a month for the upcoming year when we were canceling our memberships and then charged us another $25 to cancel our memberships. I think it is ridiculous that they would charge us the $45 to lock our pricing in for a year, even though we were cancelling, on top of the $25 a month membership and then another $25 on top of that to cancel our membership. My wife and I had a newborn that was in the NICU for a month and we have to cancel any unnecessary expenses so we can cover our medical bills. I can see them charging the normal $25 and the $25 cancellation fee. But to charge the additional $45 to lock our rate in when we are canceling that is tough to swallow.

The crew is great, and welcoming. The personal training is amazing too, i had Becca and she helped me through my disabilities and helped me regain my confidence! I love the Studio Red, and that they adjusted the class time because it works better for my work. I just wish it didn't overlap some of the other (non-studio) classes. I like to occasionally pop in after my Red class but it's already started, so it feels a little awkward.

I never thought I would sign up for a gym membership because I always had access to the Hill AFB gym. However, with its close proximity, it makes it much more convenient. For 9.99 a month, you can't go wrong with all the access you get. The only area for improvement is to get more ab workout machines. The staff and patrons are all friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this facility.

More of the time my experiences at the Clinton Vasa are fine. The equipment is nice, the gym is pretty clean and the staff are nice.
However, there are few things that I haven’t been happy about such as:
•Sometimes I find that equipment is broken and stays broken for a while until it’s finally fixed.
•Also, we had called and gone online to cancel my husband’s membership during Covid and then found out much much later that Vasa had still been deducting payments each month from our account. This had been for a couple of years that this went on.
•During a recent visit I was approached by someone with a large golden retriever type dog that asked if it could greet me. I said yes only because I would’ve felt like the jerk if I didn’t since he asked everyone around me and they all said yes. But then my clothes were covered with dog hair. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs, this was a sweet dog and this wouldn’t normally be a big deal except that my husband is allergic and me bringing dog hair into our car and home is bad for him, it triggers his asthma. If the dog had been wearing some kind of Service Animal vest then I wouldn’t question anything, but since it wasn’t it just appeared to be a pet who’s owner didn’t want to leave it at home. I don’t think this is acceptable in a gym where members pay to workout in peace and shouldn’t have to worry about coming in contact with allergens like dog hair. Vasa staff should not be allowing animals in the gym unless they are certified service animals.

Terrible customer service. You will get different information from each person you talk to. Billing and membership issues can't be handled in the gym and reaching out to the support is not helpful.
Tvs are broken. The lights in part of the building are broken.
I asked the front desk to close the blinds in one of the areas and got an attitude that it wasn't an option even tho that's the first time I had seen them open.
Bringing a guest, that I paid for, was awkward for me and guest with how you are treated at check-in.
I was trying to get help left multiple messages at the desk for a call back. Called multiple times, talked to a manager finally he listened to my issue assured me he would call me the next day and I never could get a hold of him again.
Lastly they lock you into contracts don't uphold there end and your still stuck paying.

Bruh, this corporation is frustrating as hell when it comes to your account billing & membership. Recently brought a friend to the gym, and needed to upgrade my membership for the buddy pass. Which $45 dollars is insane for this place I’ll be the first to say LOL. However back to the point, after upgrading my membership a month and a half went by & I wanted to downgrade my membership back to what it was prior because I don’t take friends to the gym with me often. Let’s just say the efforts I had to go through to do this was more of a workout than I’ve ever had here… and I’ve had some amazing pumps here honestly. Let’s just start with how they CAN’T change my account & lower my membership AT the front desk because I had to email them OR call customer service. Funny how I could UPGRADE my membership at the desk, but not downgrade first of all aye. However email didn’t get back to me for 48 hours now still haven’t heard back, but 2 phone calls & 58 minutes if my life confused on why this is so hard. 30+ minutes of the call I was on “hold” lol okay bruh. That’s about everything, I’ve been a member for 10+ years, and have always been a supporter but I had to get this out. Great gym though despite the groups of people who use machines together & yunno what I'm talking about.

My entire family has membership here. Equipment is clean and maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. The childcare staff is great, I love that they have activities going on for the kids as well as play. They even made cute parents gifts for Christmas. Sauna/ Steam room is well maintained, I love the water massage chairs, they are great for store muscles, and they also have tanning if you are interested. I haven't used the pool, but it looks maintained as well. My teens love the basketball and racquet ball courts. My older kids use the personal trainers/ coaches, and I love the ease of the app for membership info!

I would like to recognize the women in the kid care for their outstanding work. My child is shy and can get upset as I leave but Ms. McKenna holds her and soothes her until I leave. Once I’m gone she always has a good time.
Now When I ask if she wants to go to the gym she gets excited about it and I love that.
It is a shame though that the Yoga /Pump Instructor Ashley is leaving/left. She is an amazing yoga instructor who made a safe place for people like me to practice yoga. I always feel self conscious in a gym because I’m a big girl, and get intimidated that I can’t do the difficult poses. She was encouraging and helpful. She made me want to keep going to her classes and I have for about a year. I even drove to Layton to go to her classes because I got so much out of them not just strength and stretching but stress relief and wellbeing. If you are loosing people like her, it will be catastrophic to your business. A business IS only as good as their people and with so many options for fitness, Vasa needs the best people to have the competitive edge.

I used to love it here...I LOVED their group fitness classes. I looked forward to my Bootcamp and High Fitness double every single week. I signed up for EOS and never ended up canceling my Vasa membership because I couldn't leave the classes at Vasa that I loved. Recently Vasa has been making changes that have ruined their group fitness classes, doubles are no longer allowed, and they have pushed many great instructors out the door. I expect they will see their membership numbers drop significantly after the end of the year. So if you want an empty gym with management who treats their employees poorly and doesn't care about what their members want...sign up. I'm honestly appalled by what I've seen going on here lately...do better Vasa.

They don't allow guest under 16 years but they signed my son up who is 14 and charged his card like crazy. All because he went and worked out with his friend. I think its absolutely ridiculous that there was no parent/guardian signature required yet you guys can take a child's money.
