Basketball court is closed on the weekends. For what reason? The smaller and more dangerous to play on court in the Hess gym is open on weekends, but no one wants to play basketball in there fear of injuries.

Brad is an awesome rock climbing instructor!! He's taught my daughter and I as well as a group of myself and 3 teammates for a Wingman event! He gives a thorough tour of all the facilities.

Excellent military gym. One of the best in the AF. Clean and well-designed. Good equipment variety. Not too crowded during peak morning hours. Hess Fitness Center (functional) being next door is an added bonus. Always a pleasure getting some work in here.

Probably the nicest military gym I've been to. It's not open 24 hours but there's a smaller fitness center connected to it that is. All bases should have facilities like this for our troops.

Love this gym. Don't like the supervisor. I think he would close the gym 24/7. Why someone is always rushing out his customers is beyond me. I also don't understand why they close every holiday. And every family day. I know it's a government facility. but hire someone who can work like the rest of civilians and let us keep our workout schedule. It's not like you can work out extra all the time. I know I get to use it free. But hey it's kind of my extended hazard duty pay now that I'm retired.. Boy must have been holding this inside for a while...

Great fitness center with lots of weight and cardio machines. There are also two full court basketball courts. Awesome climbing wall to challenge the best climber. Excellent self service food and beverages.

The equipment is clean and the staff is amazing and incredibly helpful. They are there to help answer questions and always provide an amazing experience. If you don't utilize this FSS facility at HAFB is worth checking out!

4 out of 5 stars only because they changed their hours and are no longer open Sunday. That is VERY ODD, Sunday has been a historic training day for most. At least it’s possible to use HESS 24hr. Otherwise this is likely one of the best military gyms I’ve seen in 30+ years!
