Mujib’s the best! His approach is unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced; super thoughtful, very intentional, holistic in nature. I started sessions assuming I’d learn how to lift heavy things, but feel like I’ve learned so much about how my body moves, and how it should move. I feel stronger, informed and inspired. I can’t recommend Mujib enough.

I started training with Mujib 4 months ago and his energy, passion and guidance has changed my life. He is extremely thoughtful in his approach to each client and works with each person to develop a program that is right for them. I've been a long time runner but was always intimidated by weight lifting/strength building. Mujib's warmth and teaching made it feel extremely approachable. Training with Mujib has changed my life. I originally went to see him to help with my back pain, but it has evolved into a whole new way of moving through my life. Kettlebell lifts can translate into so many daily movements. Picking up a baby (goblet squat), putting luggage into an overhead compartment (shoulder press), picking up something off the floor (deadlift).

I feel stronger and more confident everyday. I never thought of myself as someone who could "afford" a personal trainer, but I just made it a priority and moved things around to make room for it. It has made a tremendous impact on my life.

Mujib himself, is incredibly supportive and knowledgable. He has a way of explaining concepts and movements that really helped me lift correctly and stay injury free. He doesn't beat you up and leave you aching the next day. His methods are sustainable. He has a positivity that is contagious. We have wide reaching conversations about fitness, but also family, business, fatherhood, values, music, and many other aspects of life. Training with him has been one of the most powerful changes I've made to my life in years.

And if I'm being honest, looking in the mirror feels pretty darn good too!

I originally came to Mujib to help build strength in my shoulder. having suffered a rotator cuff injury years ago. I wanted to get stronger so I could continue to play golf and tennis. What I found in Mujib was a wonderful guide who helps me to gain power and flexibility. Mujib is amazing at identifying exactly what you need. His approach is to listen well and observe and then create a workout that is just right for you on that day, in that moment.
He's a great listener and a kind soul. I regularly recommended him to friends. There is great merit in having a personal trainer work with you and there's no one better than Mujib.

I’ve worked with Mujib twice per week for over a year. Whether we are doing power or endurance sets, the workouts are always fresh and challenging. I have never been injured from Mujib’s workouts, and, in fact, Mujib crafted special workouts for me while I was recovering from ankle surgery this past winter. I can't say enough good things about working with Mujib as a trainer. I have known and worked with him for over 7 years. His depth of knowledge about kettlebell training is impressive. He has the wonderful skill of giving as much information as you need, without overwhelming you. Some days I come in feeling quiet and slow; some days I am all on fire and full of energy. Sometimes I have an injury that needs to be worked around. Mujib is always ready to meet me wherever I am and to support my fitness goals. Over the years those goals have ranged from rapid progression in moving heavy weights, to recovering from injury, to just enjoying movement and improving balance and core strength. Mujib's versatility makes him a great trainer for all kinds of people. He can fully support beginners, and also help experienced athletes reach the next level. Every Monday morning for the last four years, I have started my week by walking into a workout space lined with with colorful kettlebells of various weights and being greeted by Mujib with a warm, “How was your week-end?” We review what physical activity I’ve engaged in since I last saw him and how my body feels. What follows is an hour’s worth of lifting, swinging and moving guided by Mujib’s thoughtful, informed, and insightful instruction.

This routine, always varied and tailored specifically for my needs, has not only made me much stronger, but has transformed how I move my body and use my strength in every thing I do, from mountain biking to carrying groceries. Mujib’s instruction has not only allowed me to find the right form for lifting kettlebell weights, but his unique and purposeful approach to training has made me acutely aware of how to access my strength and how my muscles work as an integrated system. So not only have I made great gains in the weights I can press, deadlift, clean or swing, but I am more confident and balanced as a mountain biker and skier, and more intentional in everyday movements like lifting heavy packages. As a result of my kettlebell training with Mujib, I have developed an innate reflex that uses my core strength in its most balanced and efficient way.

I came to Mujib when I was 55 because I had a slight muscle tear in my shoulder, and he had helped my husband rehabilitate from a much more severe shoulder injury. I continue to go to him because training with Mujib is the single best activity I can engage in to stay strong and keep enjoying all manner of sports and physical activity as I move into my sixties.

I have been working with Mujib an average of once a week for almost 6 years as part of a broader fitness program. I have always been active physically in a variety of sports but as I have gotten older, (now almost 70) it has become important to be more thoughtful and intentional about how I progress. Mujib's careful guidance and encouragement continue to provide amazing benefits in two main areas:

(1) I have a specific weakness in one shoulder where I have had 3 operations and lots of physical therapy. I have learned with Mujib and kettlebells how to build small muscle strength and use my core in ways that now allow me to have the strength and confidence to lift heavy weights in the gym and to do heavy work in the woods without fear. I'm now doing work with a range of motion and strength I wouldn't have dreamed possible 5 years ago.
(2) Mujib's concept of progressive training and having watched my fitness progress over the years, allows him to assess the mechanics of my movement and immediately recognize and diagnose any emerging issues that may come out of my other sports activities. There is something about the independent action of the kettlebell movement that allows Mujib to pinpoint strains or stress areas, and then propose a series of remedial activities for me to perform at home to be reassessed the following week.

I started with Mujib to help stem the inevitable deterioration of the aging process, and have, instead, actually gotten progressively stronger and more agile. Not only do I trust him to guide my progress, but he is a wonderful person who genuinely delights in the positive impact he is helping to make.
