SHADY BILLING AND MANAGEMENT!! It’s been over a month since I first called about being charged for a duplicate Crunch Fitness Burlington account that I Came into the gym to cancel once I realized I had two accounts. Then when I moved away from Burlington, of May of last year, I asked to cancel the one account I had. however, apparently they never canceled my account and I have been being charged since then. I’ve only ever heard from the front desk employee — never once from the general manager Christina (or any manager) despite emailing and calling multiple times.

When I tried to cancel the account myself once I realized i was still being charged for this, I was told they couldn’t do it on their end and that I had to do it through my own account. The problem is, when I tried to log in, it said my account didn’t exist under the email they said it was under. The only way to stop the charges was to cancel my debit card, which was extremely inconvenient.

Then, i called again Nov 11 and was told that as of November 8 they canceled the account on their end — which means they did have the power to do it all along but failed to communicate that. I still haven’t received any contact from the GM Christina or other management or a refund for the hundreds of dollars I’ve been wrongly charged.

This entire issue started because of an employee’s mistake, and it’s been handled with zero accountability or communication from management. I definitely should have been paying more attention to my bank statements so I could’ve caught this way earlier, which I will have to do in the future but very disappointing experience. the gym and equipment itself is fine, but it’s a little cramped and I think the employees can do a better job at keeping it clean.

Love the gym but beware; if you go during the HIIT class it is nonstop high piercing beeps for 45 minutes straight. Would love it if you could turn that waaay down. I was in the far back in the stretch zone and it was still uncomfortably loud. Staff said “it’ll be over in 30 minutes” when I asked if it could be turned down.

Gym is good but shady business practices. Back in February I walked in person to cancel my membership and give my 30 day notice that I was relocating. The manager confirmed onsite that I was all set. I wasn’t checking my banking statements close enough and recently saw that she never processed it and all evidence of me putting the request in doesn’t exist. Corporate number doesn’t work so you can’t really talk to anyone for help. Manager was rude and not willing to help. Just said it is what it is and without any evidence we can’t help you. Never experienced any customer service like this and it’s insane they get away with business practices like this. Their staff member told me this happens often (so do several forums online) and when I told the manager this, she wanted me to tell her his name so she could “deal with him”. There are plenty of other good gyms in the area with better service and business practices. Fully turned off from crunch moving forward.

I am so beyond frustrated with this establishment. I had an account, and I’ve been trying to cancel since April. Every time I called, I was told they had processed the cancellation. But next month, charged again. I also was continually told, after the first month, that management would contact me regarding a refund for the extra months. Only today was I told you actually have to email the manager directly. I sent an email, but based on the service so far, I’m not hopeful for a response. I would be more than willing to change this review once I get my money back and talk about my experience using the gym. But as it stands, do NOT get a membership with this gym because they will never let you cancel and will lie to you repeatedly when you try.

edit- the manager did respond but clearly it was a canned response, since it didn’t address anything I said in the email. There are other gyms, this one is not good enough to be doing all this bs

Bathrooms are disgusting, showers haven't been cleaned in over 2 months. Hair and a booger on the wall one day, 2 months later they are still there. Staff is not knowledgeable on policies and procedures. 1 movable adjustable bench ONLY. They allow girls to enter the mens locker rooms because they think they are boys and completely disrespect the hard working married men who are there to get healthy. SO HEADS UP to women who have their husband going to this gym.
BEWARE!!! They will LIE to sell you a membership, they will scam you more money when you cancel your membership. Absolutely disgraceful. Other places have less free weights but at least you KNOW what your getting into.

Had no issues the first two month, paid first month in person, second month payment was fine mind you I was using my CHASE credit card. Suddenly I'm hit with a notification into September of a alert that there was an issue with my payments. I followed up in person and talked to the manager who told me that "Everything looks fine and in order." I asked her if I needed to follow up again or just ignore any future messages. She said it should be fine, so I followed her advise and next thing I know I follow up 2 weeks later because I was getting worried and found it odd that I was getting these emails and messages. So followed up again and was told and allegedly accused that I had put out a "Fraud claim" against them and that there was no indication that my Chase bank was willing or able to pay the fee. Despite me calling my bank and despite me meeting in person to show PHYSICAL PROOF that there was no indicator of a "pending payment" or issues with my bank. They claim that their system was saying something else and that it was essentially my fault and that they had no fault on their part. So I had to pay an additional 138$ fee's that doesn't tie to the membership, PT or maintenance fee. Because I listened to the manager telling me that it should be fine. I visit the gym 5 days a week and never been halted at the front desk of "hey we have a bit of an issue with your payment." It wasn't until I had to confront about that they were down to talk. This is absurd not to mention that had I known this was an issue I would have canceled my 3rd month PT which by the way requires you to give a "30 day heads up" which is absurd if I don't want to continue with this gym but I have to pay 360$ because I didn't give a heads up.

The only thing thats making me still go until I have to force myself to finish up my next PT and wait for my cancellation is Noah who is by far the best Trainer/person. I do not want to continue with the Gym and I want my 138$ back. Also I am apparently not the only person out there who's had an issue with this gym on alleged payment problems. My coworker who I bumped into also had a similar problem with payment issues and is also fed up on the night I went to confront this.

I had to make this review because of how awesome my training sessions were. I ever liked working out before but after seeing how winded I got playing with my kids, I decided to sign up for a membership at Crunch. I went with the Base but also signed up for a Personal Training session so I wasn't in there floundering. I got matched with Noah and he had a great personality and spoke with a lot of knowledge on creating a plan for me. I don't think I ever sweated that hard since Middle School. Our first session was killer! It was hard but Noah encouraged me to keep going. He's an awesome coach and you can tell he wants the best for his trainees. He definitely is the reason why I kept coming back!

By far the best value for a gym membership in Chittenden county. The staff is awesome, and the equipment is great. Lots of good benches and platforms for barbell/dumbbell work, bumper plates, and a variety of well maintained machines. If their weekend hours were better, it would be my only gym membership.

I stepped into a gym for the first time last year at the urging of a friend who insisted I check out Crunch Fitness as her guest. I was worried I’d feel too intimidated but she introduced me to her personal trainer, Sarah, and my life is forever changed for it!

Sarah has been a consistent motivator and teacher who has given me a foundation to work upon for the foreseeable future. I’ve been going to Crunch 3-4 days a week for over 8 months now and not only have I gained strength but my mood, mental health and confidence have all gotten a boost.

Sarah takes the time to teach me the types of movements and the correct form to keep pushing me safely to continue to better myself. Her upbeat attitude and knowledge make for a fantastic workout.

I have really been enjoying my time at Crunch, seeing familiar faces (employees and other gym go-ers) time and time again, that inspire me to continue my fitness journey. Whether you’re new to the gym or you’ve gone to others, I highly recommend Crunch Fitness (and Sarah!)

really enjoyed my time at Crunch but unfortunately feeling very baited and lied to about my membership. I joined about 3 months ago, looking for a gym to bridge my time between UVM and my new place which has an onsite gym. When I signed up, I made it very clear to the team member that I only needed the membership for 3 months tops and that I didn’t need any extra frills or perks. They recommended that I go with the 9.99/month plan which also comes with a $70 annual charge (a bit steep but didn’t mind, it’s a sweet gym). The team member basically encouraged me to just skip the fine print and sign the contract. When I tried to cancel my membership this week I was told that the 9.99/month plan locks you in for the whole year, so I have no choice but to pay $190 (9.99x12 + 70) for a gym I used for less than 3 months. Feeling very frustrated and lied to as I made it extremely clear that I would not use the membership for a whole year. I would never have signed up had I known I would be locked in. It’s really a great gym, nice equipment, lots of space, always clean, and staff is always friendly, but I was taken advantage of so someone could get a commission and they don’t seem to care at all. I have reached out and been told that there’s nothing they can do, so be careful when signing up.

Clean, new, better than other gyms in my opinion. Great staff, good trainers, classes, massage, tanning. Qr codes on machines to help with proper training with directions via the app. Solid equipment and free weights. Ample cardio and row of TVs. No gimmicks, starts at $10 per month. If you want to use a locker, bring your own lock. Ample parking as well.

My personal trainer Noah helped me get a lot stronger and fitter. I wanted to get better at compound lifts, but my muscle imbalances stopped me from reaching my potential. Noah helped me with my form and got me doing exercises to cure my muscle imbalances that helped with my compound lifts. I am much stronger today thanks to him. If you're considering personal training for strength, bodybuilding, or general fitness I cannot recommend him enough!

He has this amazing ability to make each workout enjoyable, with a perfect mix of hard work and fun. His encouragement and expert coaching help me push past my limits every time.

Noah’s knowledge and ability to personalize every session to fit my needs have made all the difference. I always leave our sessions feeling accomplished and excited for the next one! If you're looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about your progress and makes every workout something to look forward to, Noah is your guy! 10/10 recommend

I’ve had a really great experience at Crunch. I started going with the goal of getting more comfortable in the gym, so I signed up for personal training with Noah — and I’m really glad I did. He made the whole experience way less intimidating with his friendly personality and just overall good energy.

We built a solid workout routine that could grow with me, and he walked me through everything until I felt confident doing it on my own.

If you’re new to working out, or even if you’ve been at it a while and just want some guidance and positive support, I highly recommend training with Noah.

I do not typically write reviews, but sometimes a situation calls for just such a thing.

I received news today that my neighborhood had a burst water main and all water services to my home were unavailable. A boil order was also issued to our neighborhood; as of now, the boil order stands and my home still does not have water. So I stopped by Crunch after work to refill my water bottle (the gym is in close proximity to my residence). The Crunch manager, Christina, was ready to check me in for a workout when I revealed that I just needed some water due to the fact that I wouldn't have any once home. She promptly got up and retrieved some extra bottles of water for me and my family and told me to swing back by to shower at the gym if needed.

Anyway, the facilities at this location are great, but I'm mainly writing this to state that it's nice for someone to go the extra mile when they didn't really need to. It was touching and I applaud Christina and the staff at Crunch for being so kind and thoughtful.

I have no issues with the facilities, but Crunch Fitness’ billing practice is shady and predatory. They use their low monthly fees to lure in college students and people with little disposable income. When I sign up for a service with an annual fee, I expect to be notified before the membership renews and I’m charged $75. I immediately contacted customer service to request a refund and cancellation, as I am moving away. They refused to return my money. They threw the words “it’s in the contract you signed” back at me, which, frankly, is the language of a scammer with no care for customer satisfaction or business ethics. I spoke with my local gym manager who had no power to help me and couldn’t connect me with someone who could, claiming the regional manager only used his personal cell phone to communicate. I feel taken advantage of, and I suggest to anyone considering Crunch to pass and find a gym that cares about its members.

Crunch Fitness has been an absolute game-changer for me! This is actually my first time ever signing up for a gym membership, and I'm so happy I chose Crunch. I've been going twice a week for about 4 months now and the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and supported. I especially want to shout out Christina, who helped sign me up in the beginning and has been so helpful with any questions I've had throughout my fitness journey!

When I originally signed up, I also decided to take the plunge and sign up for personal training at the same time, and I'm so glad I did! My trainer, Jay, is amazing. He's incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and has helped me push my PR's with every session. He's tailored my workouts to my specific needs and goals, and I'm seeing progress already in the 4 months we've been working together!

The gym itself is always clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere. There's always a variety of classes to choose from, and the equipment is always in good, working order.

If you're looking for a gym that's welcoming, supportive, and has everything you need to reach your fitness goals, I highly recommend Crunch Fitness!

Gym is fine but buyer beware. This place advertises a very low rate but contractually obligates you to an annual fee that is non refundable. They also aggressively try to get you to sign up for personal training for $200/month which is also non-refundable apparently. If you dispute anything there is absolutely no recourse to higher management, they are owned by a holding company with no service line.

Crunch Burlington has been at the center of my fitness journey the past year. Christina, the current manager, has been working to elevate the gym going experience here.
She has the best team I’ve seen here and she is continually working to improve that team and the facilities. I’ve only had positive experiences with her team, including Mary-Ellen and Hayley.
Mary Ellen has been my PT for almost and year, coming up on 100 completed sessions. She’s driven to give me the best experience and workout each session. Tons of equipment, a great variety of classes, the team at the front desk, and my trainer Mary-Ellen who has taught me so much - pushes me when I need to be pushed, laughs with me, and keeps my sessions fresh. And did I mention the hydro-massage chairs? Oh yea, you need to finish your workout in one of these!

Joining Crunch has been life changing. The staff is welcoming and friendly. There are spaces and equipment for all interest, from strength training with free weights and machines, to HITT spaces and equipment, to Yoga and Zumba, to Spin rooms. Members are diverse in fitness, ages, and gender; they are very respectful and friendly. I am especially grateful for Mary Ellen as a personal trainer and HITT/Tabatha class leader. Mary Ellen is very knowledgeable and inspiring. Her workouts are different every time, push me to be my best, and make me smile. She has also taught me how to train without injury! I have never felt as positive about working out. I encourage any one to try Crunch out.

I’m 62 years old and have been going to gyms and working with personal trainers for over 30 years, but my experience at Crunch Fitness in South Burlington has been the best by far. My personal trainer, Mary Ellen Longworth, is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated. She has helped me achieve results I didn’t think were possible, and I feel healthier and stronger than ever.

What sets Mary Ellen apart is the care she puts into designing workouts tailored to my needs. She keeps them interesting, challenging, and always fresh, which keeps me motivated and excited to train. Beyond the training, the overall environment at Crunch Fitness is fantastic—welcoming, clean, and full of positive energy.

If you’re looking for a gym that truly supports your fitness journey, I highly recommend Crunch Fitness and working with Mary Ellen. It’s been a game-changer for me!

Crunch Burlington is an incredible gym that has something for everyone! The variety of weights and equipment is impressive, catering to all fitness levels—from beginners to seasoned lifters. They also offer a wide range of classes that keep workouts fresh and fun, whether you’re into high-intensity training, yoga, or something in between.

The personal trainers here are absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your fitness goals. Their guidance and support make such a difference, whether you’re working one-on-one or just getting tips on form.

The gym itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Crunch Burlington is truly a place where you feel motivated to work out and keep coming back! Highly recommend.

Crunch is a pretty solid gym in terms of overall cleanliness and machine variety. Where they start to fall short though is the amount of machines they have. They only have one plate loaded chest press machine for each incline, decline and flat. One abductor/adductor machine, two chest supported row machines, you get the point. For a gym that has over 50 people in the weights area at peak time, it's common for almost everything to be taken.

What makes this worse is that they have the space to add more machines and they absolutely should. There is some big room behind all the cardio equipment that is consistently empty. I think it is for classes but personally, I don't see many people doing the classes.

Lastly, while the gym is clean, the process for customers to clean their equipment is lacking. They use paper towels dispensers that are ALWAYS clogged up. There are almost always a roll of paper towels on top of the dispenser to counter this, but then why even have the dispensers in the first place. I've seen some gyms use basic washcloths that customers carry around and there are spray bottles spread around the gym for them to use and wipe down the machines, then put the cloth in a basket to be washed when they are done with their session. That process seems much better than the current paper towels dispensers.

Overall, if this gym upped the amount of machines they have and fixed their paper towels situation, this would be a 5 star gym for sure.

Crunch was great when they first opened (obviously so clean) now it’s very dirty. Dead bugs everywhere in the crevices and corners of the equipment. It’s so packed all day long and people sit on the machines and rigs on their phones. One of the days I went and a Personal Trainer (had the shirt on) sat at the bench press bench doing absolutely nothing for 30 minutes. I just wanted to get a set in. Do not sign up for this gym. It's impossible to cancel the membership and they charge you $78 dollars quarterly. It randomly appears on your card, and they make you have to come in to cancel it. Then when you try to cancel it they make you pay the current month and the following month. If you could call and cancel the membership that would be convenient, but because they can't compete with other gyms they have to scam you for money. You owe me $79 + $19.11+ $19.11 Crunch and I was unable to come in and cancel. They gym is pretty crowded anyway and all people are doing is videoing for content and it gets in the way of anyone just trying to get a workout in. Hopefully someone from the management team see's and attempts to rectify the situation, but knowing them I'll probably be charged another $19.11 for this post.

As others have reported, I have had a miserable time trying to cancel my membership. Unless you want to be a member forever, it's not worth saving a few dollars per month because the hoops you have to jump through to attempt to cancel will make you feel like the crazy one.

I'm personally looking forward to when the "manager" of this gym reads this so instead of writing a reply to my review asking me to reach out to them, maybe they will return one of the many emails I have been sending begging them to help me out. I tried to give the "manager" a fair opportunity to assist me before leaving this 1-star review, but that experience validated every other poor review I've seen here.

If you do sign up, don't expect anything less than a MasterClass on how to deliver the all-time worst customer service experience from Crunch and their "manager" who responds to these inquiries publicly to give the illusion they are trying. Brutal.

If you join this gym, which you should seriously reconsider - get your agreement when you join. I've tried cancelling our membership for over a month. No help from the gym after multiple emails, visits to the gym and phone calls. The number they gave us was incorrect so we went back in to get a new number. After several attempts at explaining what's going on, the customer service reps basically couldn't do anything, they said it has to be the gym manager. Basically we called to cancel well within our 30 days timeline and because the gym wouldn't do it and the bad numbers given, we are now outside of the 30 day window and they are charging us two more months at a new rate(they said they emailed us about that which is not true) and they are charging us an annual fee - which is for the next 12 months that we won't even be a member. Make that make sense?!?! Customer service says talk to gym, gym says call the
corporate number. And, no agreement can be provided to us to read the terms. I will gladly pay if that's what the agreement says but there is no agreement to be produced and even when we initially signed up, there want one emailed or provided. I can't access it on line as it says not available and neither the gym nor the people on the line can give us a copy. Stay away unless you plan on being a member for life.

The only good thing about this gym is the membership price. I wouldn’t recommend it though.
Customer service is seriously lacking. I was double charged one month and called on 3 separate occasions to request a refund for one of the charges. Each time I was told “Oh I do see that… we will look into it further and get back to you.” I was never gotten back to. Sent 3 emails to corporate which end up being forwarded to the Burlington gym for the manager. I got a response to one of the emails saying they would look into it. I followed up after weeks went by and surprise… no response.

The gym was so packed each time I went that I’d end up standing around forever waiting for machines I wanted to use. People like to have social hour on the machines and there are often times training sessions taking place. I’d usually end up having to leave without being able to do what I wanted.

I’d say if you’re looking for a super basic gym and have the ability to go in the middle of the day maybe when there are less people, it might be worth it. Just know that if you ever have billing issues or require any customer service, it’s going to be an issue.

The customer service representatives I spoke with were unhelpful and dismissive, offering no solutions or assistance in rectifying the situation. It is unacceptable to continue charging a customer after they have clearly expressed their desire to cancel.

The gym is decent. Lots of treadmills and stair climbers. Tanning and hydro massage is nice. Not too expensive and good location. HIIT classes are very loud but it’s too small of a gym for them to be somewhere else. Paper towel situation is pretty annoying. Even when the sprays are available the paper towels are not very good at cleaning. Personal trainers don’t clean after using machines with their clients. The biggest complaint I have is the paper towels. Just switch to wipes! Or better paper towels and better dispensers. It’s a lot of waste for something that doesn’t even work.

One other issue is the boys who crowd machines and make it feel like you can’t use it. I don’t think more than two people should be at a machine but ideally just one.

(A Diverse Fitness Hub with Room for Improvement: A Detailed Review of Crunch Gym, South Burlington)

As a former member of Crunch Gym located off Shelburne Road in South Burlington, Vermont, I feel compelled to share my experiences, both positive and negative, with the broader community. My recent decision to cancel my membership stems from an unfortunate misunderstanding with the management regarding my guest privileges. However, before delving into this issue, I want to highlight some of the gym's notable attributes.

Crunch Gym boasts an impressive facility, spacious and well-equipped to accommodate a diverse range of fitness activities. With ample parking spaces, it offers a convenient workout environment, especially compared to other gyms in the city. Furthermore, the affordability of its membership plans makes it an accessible option for individuals seeking to pursue their fitness goals without breaking the bank.

However, my overall experience was marred by an incident that underscored a gap in the gym's communication and understanding of its members' unique circumstances. As someone who upgraded to the most expensive membership tier specifically to bring guests, I found myself in an uncomfortable situation when approached by management under the assumption that I was operating as a personal trainer.

Allow me to provide context: I have a young individual living with me through a state program, grappling with both physical and mental health challenges. Recognizing the transformative power of exercise, I sought to support him by incorporating gym sessions into his routine. These one-on-one sessions were not driven by any commercial interest but rather a genuine desire to make a positive impact on his well-being.

Regrettably, the management's misconception regarding my intentions led to a confrontation that left me feeling misunderstood and undervalued as a member. While I appreciate the need for policies to prevent unauthorized commercial activities within the gym premises, it is crucial for establishments like Crunch to exercise discretion and sensitivity in handling situations that deviate from the norm.

In conclusion, Crunch Gym in South Burlington offers a commendable fitness facility with affordable membership options and convenient amenities. However, there is room for improvement in terms of communication and flexibility in accommodating members' unique circumstances. I hope that by sharing my experience, the management can reflect on ways to better support and engage with their diverse clientele, fostering a more inclusive and understanding environment for all.

The only positive experience I’ve had at this location is between 5:30am and 8am. The late afternoon/ early evening (after work) this is a baby sitting center for high school students. The staff enable folks to gather around equipment and play video games and gossip in groups of 4+. It’s impossible to get a spot on weight machines or in the free weight zone. If you aren’t able to go in the morning, this membership probably isn’t for you. The low rate isn’t worth the afternoon experience. Also, the spin bikes are cheap and are absolutely going to hurt someone. You can literally buy a better bike on Amazon for under $500… seriously. 3 stars because of the 2-3 hour option in the morning… and that will probably decline as this new location ages and cleanliness with it.

Disappointed with the lack of communication and misinformation that was my experience at Crunch. Under extenuating circumstances I needed to freeze my account which I was told I could do until I could renew my membership. I took the employees word for it and of course two months later I catch that my membership continued to be charged, weird for a “frozen” account.

I went into the Gym and they advised that memberships could not be frozen without ever communicating that to me via phone, email or in that in person conversation where I was told otherwise. I accepted that it was a mistake and requested to cancel my membership with hopes of renewing at a later time. I was provided an out of country number scratched on a piece of scrap paper and told to call it to cancel my membership, red flag.

It took me approximately two weeks to get a hold of someone. After approximately 20 minutes on the phone I had to accept that the only way I was able to cancel my membership was by accepting a late fee and membership charges of $84. I was advised by the individual on the phone that their information would be on the receipt, they provided just “Divya” when I asked them why a last name was not provided they said they don’t include it, red flag.

Ultimately if you plan to die with this gym membership, you should be good to go, no promise they’ll stop charging you post death. I am just disappointed with how things were handled and will not be returning as initially planned.

They provided a very misleading advertisement saying that I would get my first month free. However, what I didn’t realize is that they would still charge me $35 dollars for the month after that as well as an annual fee of $75. When I tried to tell them I would like to cancel to prevent these charges from happening, they told me that the charges would still go through no matter when I cancelled. They also require you to go in-person to cancel your membership. I didn’t end up getting one month free at all, I had to pay $110 total from January 27th-February 28th. When I called them to ask for more information, each person had a different answer. They also shared that when you cancel a membership, you cannot book classes for the period of time that your membership remains active. You have to go in-person and hope that there is an open spot in the classes!

My main issue is the cleanliness. The locker room floors are almost always really dirty, lots of hair, fuzz and dirt floating around. I've had an absolutely terrible experience with Crunch Fitness, and I cannot emphasize enough how dissatisfied I am with their service.

First and foremost, Crunch Fitness showed a complete lack of transparency when it came to their payment policies. My payments were constantly getting declined because I didn't have enough money in my checking account. Fair enough, that's on me. But when I went to the gym after each declined payment, they gladly accepted my payment without uttering a word about any late fees or additional charges.

After three months of this deceptive cycle. Out of nowhere, I was slapped with a $73 charge, supposedly for late fees. Crunch Fitness had never once mentioned that they were going to charge me late fees for my constant payment issues. It was as though they were deliberately setting a trap for unsuspecting customers.

The lack of communication and transparency on Crunch Fitness's part is downright appalling. If they were going to charge me extra fees for my payment difficulties, the least they could have done was inform me in a clear and timely manner. Instead, they waited for three months and then hit me with this unjust charge.

I reached out to their customer service, hoping for some sort of resolution, but their response was nothing short of dismissive and unhelpful.

I came to the gym personally and spoke with John about my situation they guy I opened my account with who also lied about me not getting charged again anything to make money and get a sale hu! I hate gyms for this exact reason I will no be joining a gym again because of this experience.

Hi crunch, could you please bring back the paper towels you previously used? For the last couple weeks, the new paper towels are too thin to adequately clean equipment after using, they crumple and tear when you put cleaning solution on them. This results in far fewer people cleaning equipment after using it. Thanks so much everything else here is nice.

Changing my review to a 1 star. I cancelled my membership 2 months ago because they banned chalk and had pretty unhygienic facilities (dirt everywhere, unclean bathroom stalls, mildew on the walls next to the bathroom hand dryers.)

I just found out that you can't cancel in the app so they continued to charge me. Since I have an overdue balance I also can't cancel over the phone to prevent further charges. They also have an annual fee of $60 dollars regardless of how long you actual use their facilities. Their staff on the phone was helpful and that's honestly the only redeeming quality. Strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

My main problem with it is how small it is for how low the price is, small gym+low price=overcrowding, sometimes you have to wait 45 minutes for one machine.

Misleading advertisement just like I've seen at other fitness centers. I was originally lead to believe I could get 1 month for $15. Then I was told I had to pay for at least 2 months. Then after going through the trouble of applying, at the very end in the fine print there is a mention of having to pay a $60 registration fee. I get the impression that the company discourages the employees from providing this information upfront.

I was pretty shocked by their customer service. I’ve reached out to give feedback numerous times both to Burlington directly and the main website, explaining my customer service experience, but yet keep getting passed onto another staff member or another email….so nothing is actually being acknowledged.

Worked out this morning for my first day here and it was excellent! I was a member to another gym that was twice as much and didn’t include tanning.

My membership here includes it all! I live far away but work close by so I need to get ready for work here. The showers are gorgeous-frosted glass doors and HUGE!

One thing I would change is better lighting for the makeup mirror in the bathroom.

There are so many machines I haven’t even seen before. The customer service is great and super spacious. SO EXCITED!!!

Gym is great, especially late at night when there is no one there. Although it’s great I will say that the weights feel a little off to me, as a power lifter that has picked many different weights the ones at crunch feel very light.
