My husband and I did the Childbirth Ed class together, and I did prenatal yoga classes. My only regret is not starting the classes sooner!!

I’m so grateful for the amazing birth and postpartum support community that GROW has built. I looked forward to the check-ins and camaraderie of every class and it’s fun to see where folks are in their individual journeys.

The childbirth Ed class really helped lay the foundation for clarity of my birth preferences and being empowered and informed to make the right (for me) pivots as things progressed. Can’t thank you GROW enough!

Grow offers an incredible wealth of services for parents at all stages. Their birth and newborn ed classes provide invaluable information, and various support groups for pregnant people and parents have helped me find a community of people going through what I’m going through as a new parent. An especially amazing service is their pre- and postnatal exercise classes where babies are welcome—my friends in big cities are jealous they don’t have access to anything like that! The toddler classes are wonderful too, meaning I’m still a part of the community 2+ years into my parent life. And for the extensiveness of their offerings, it still feels like a small business, with owner Susan and other instructors getting to know everyone and welcoming us into the Grow community like old friends. Grow is a lifesaver and essential to my parent life!

Grow Kids Classes have been a huge part of our life from before our kiddos could crawl until now (they're three). We really love the staff. We always enjoy our time and feel it's so developmentally appropriate and nurturing. They are very accommodating and understanding. A genuinely wonderful environment for families.

I took an online class with Sarayu, and it was the best class I've ever had - the class was extremely accessible to me as someone who hadn't practiced yoga in years, and her warm manner put me at ease and got my 4 year old eagerly joining in too. I'd love to take another class with her!

Grow was the community that carried me through pregnancy and postpartum. I've never been a part of a community that is more caring, inclusive and understanding not just of pregnancy and postpartum, but of the human experience in general. I can't say enough wonderful things about Grow. From being able to share the ups and down of pregnancy, to introducing my daughters to yoga at 6 weeks old, it's a gem of a place and a community. I can't imagine my journey without Grow. Thank you

Meg was incredibly knowledgeable on all things birth! She made birth feel like something we are all capable of no matter how we choose to labor. The class was incredibly informative giving us an in depth look at all the possibilities that can occur during labor so we can make informed decisions. We are so happy that we chose to take our birth classes with GROW.

As a first time mom, initially finding the motivation to get out with my infant was a challenge. We signed up for the infant massage class with Emily as our first class. It was the most welcoming, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment which helped me build the courage to get out and do more with my baby. As my daughter has grown we’ve done other classes with Emily and we are so grateful for this community. Thanks for creating a welcoming and enjoyable space!

I am so lucky to have been able to spend my maternity leave with both of my boys (2021 and 2023) with the GROW community. From birthing classes, to Baby song, to yoga (where you can bring your baby or littles with you) it was truly what I needed my postpartum journey! I have made many new mamas friends! If you are expecting, a mama or anywhere in-between I highly recommend making GROW apart of your journey! Susan has created a wonderful and welcoming place for all! Go, walk, skip, run!! Sign up for a class!! You won’t regret it!

GROW has been an integral part of my postpartum recovery. The physical component of the yoga classes has helped me regain my strength and mobility post pregnancy. The baby song and massage class with Emily was absolutely wonderful. Most importantly, the community that exists at GROW has been integral in navigating early motherhood. Being surrounded by a group of people going through similar experiences is helpful beyond measure.

Grow has been such an amazing support both while pregnant (Hope's Wednesday prenatal yoga class revived me) & postpartum. I've made such great connections during the walks, yoga classes, and support groups they organize. To be able to bring your baby along to yoga and find moments of peace is just SO beautiful in a time when you feel fragile & are yearning for connection. Thank you Susan and all!

We love GROW Prenatal & Family Center for their excellent children's programming. My 18-month old son and I attended Music with Miss Emma and Kids Yoga with Emily this past fall, and they are both fantastic classes! Emma and Emily do an amazing job keeping the classes moving, interesting, and varied week-to-week and they are so supportive and kind to all the kids and caregivers in class. I look forward to bringing my son each week, and we've met a fantastic community of other parents and families.

I also love their make-up policy, which allows you to attend ANY class (child or adult). I highly recommend GROW!

Grow is the absolute best! My daughter and I have LOVED all the classes we've taken. Now that we're not currently in a class she talks about yoga all the time and when we can go again. We had Emily and Becky as teachers and they are the best! Don't know how they do it but somehow keep all these little toddlers engaged and entertained. Grow is so welcoming and such a nice thing to do to meet other families, get out of the house (especially in winter!) and socialize the little ones. Can't recommend highly enough!

I did prenatal yoga with Susan at GROW for both of my kids and it made a HUGE difference for my physical and emotional wellbeing. We also participated in the birth preparation class which was so helpful to ease any worries and help us feel confident as we approached the birth of our first child. I was able to also participate in post-natal yoga with my first child in person and my second online, one which was a lifesaver! It was an opportunity for me to not only explore my body post-delivery, but also to be in community with others during such a critical time. I am still connected with other parents I met through GROW! 10/10 recommend. My whole experience of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum would not be the same without Susan!!

GROW was an absolutely incredible resource during pregnancy and in my first few months postpartum. My husband and I attended GROWs childbirth class and child care class and felt so much more prepared approaching delivery and parenthood. Rather than try to research, Google, and prepare on our own, we received such helpful, thoughtful care, instruction, tips, and vetted information that made us feel much more ready and confident. I especially found it helpful to receive the same information at the same time as my husband. GROW has outstanding and expert teachers that are smart, approachable, understanding and empathetic.

Postpartum, I attended many GROW yoga classes that helped me build confidence leaving the house with my new baby, knowing I would be welcomed into a space with other moms also navigating the new role of motherhood. The yoga was great, the community was better.

I cannot recommend GROW enough ✨

I started taking prenatal yoga classes with GROW very early in my pregnancy and I've continued taking a couple classes a week (online)! I definitely plan to return postpartum. Everyone at GROW is so kind and supportive, and the prenatal classes have made a huge difference in my pregnancy -- I don't know where I'd be, physically and emotionally, without them! I wish I lived closer so I could attend more in-person classes, but even joining on Zoom is wonderful. I highly recommend checking out and joining the GROW community!

I've taken everything from prenatal and postnatal yoga classes, to strengthening classes, to baby sign-language classes, and have participated in workshops and community circles like birth-prep and Vermamas (a group for newly postpartum mom's). I've also met some really great, lifelong friends through GROW! I highly recommend getting involved in this amazing community.

I engaged with Grow services across many parts of my pregnancy journey, and I cannot imagine it without them, as a new mom. I did three of their pregnancy circles (18wks - arrival of baby), engaged in prenatal and postnatal yoga classes both in person and virtually (LOVED the summer Surf Club sessions), sweated in the strength and conditioning classes, and I am now in the Vermamas group. The community, love, guidance, and support is incredible. No mom should do this alone, and if you can do it with Grow, all the better...

GROW was such an important part of my newly postpartum life and I would highly recommend it for any new mom! I attended yoga classes with my little one when she was an infant. Instead of this experience being intimidating, I was welcomed with open arms by Susan and all the other new mamas. Your baby cries during class- no problem, there's a baby bouncer waiting to help (if you choose), need to change a diaper or provide a feeding during class- no problem, everyone else is in the same boat and understands. What a beautiful way to connect and not feel so alone. Through GROW I found the support I didn't even realize I needed and made friendships that go beyond the yoga mat!

Grow (formerly Evolution Yoga) was essential in my motherhood journey. From pre-natal yoga, to post-natal yoga, to baby/mom playgroups, baby yoga & massage, tots on the move and more! All of her classes and instructors are so wonderful. Susan has built an amazing community of parents and support for new Mom's finding their footing in their new roles. The ups and downs, the good and the bad, pregnancy and post partum struggles- all shared and validated. Susan is so down to earth and really 'gets it' as a Mom of three herself. GROW yoga classes and the community, facilitated by Susan, have been such positive and supportive resources for my two pregnancies, birthing and postpartum journeys. Being new to the area during my first pregnancy, I formed close friendships with four women I met during Weds prenatal yoga. :) I have also really appreciated Kaleigh’s great energy, sense of humor, and the high-quality instruction in her postpartum yoga classes.

Working with Susan as our doula for my last birth made me feel so much more prepared, capable and grounded with her attentive presence and tailored coaching. Grow has been such a wonderful community for me as I have entered into motherhood. Susan, Emily, Kaliegh and the other instructors create a positive, supportive, and welcoming environment in the classes. I initially was nervous to put myself out there and go to the moms yoga class, but after the first few moments meeting the instructor and other parents I felt comfortable and excited to be there. In the summer the classes are held outside overlooking the lake — it is a beautiful setting!! Plus, it’s SO fun and empowering to be getting in movement with my baby and surrounded by other moms prioritizing their health while taking care of their babes.

I highly recommend Grow to anyone looking for a moms network, looking to build community, or looking for activities for their little ones.

VT Grow has been an awesome experience for me. I started attending prenatal yoga and strength and conditioning classes at 26 wks on an intro pass and wish I would’ve joined sooner. The instructors and community I have met have been wonderful as a first time mom.

My husband and I also attended the weekend Birth Class. The material and our instructor, Morgan, were fantastic. Morgan was very knowledgeable, encouraged questions and helped us as first time parents feel more informed on what to expect, techniques to help during labor, how my partner can support and the key decisions upcoming.

Taking the class with 8-9 other first time parents was wonderful to build our community as well.

My almost 10 year old started her tween age weekly yoga series yesterday at GROW. She was nervous it was going to be really hard and that she would feel weird being at youngest end of the age range in the class. After the class was done I had to email Susan to tell her how thrilled she was about her class. She made it clear that Thursday’s are now her favorite day and that this class is her favorite activity.
This first night really made an impression on her. The kind vibe and calm setting is exactly what she has been needing and seeing her walk away feeling blissed out and refreshed makes my momma heart full and thankful.

I started volunteering as a baby bouncer at GROW, then signed up for the birthing & newborn care classes, and am now signing up for prenatal yoga. Every experience I've had with GROW has been extremely positive, supportive and informative.

The environment is welcoming and open, which helped me and my husband ask any and all questions as we went through the birthing class. Meg, our instructor, went through every aspect of labor and delivery, assuring us that we can take on this new experience. It was also nice to have a judgement-free zone - there was zero advice on "what is best" - simply, how to be best prepared for whatever comes your way.

I cannot wait to continue my journey with GROW, and as a new parent, have them be part of my community.

The GROW Strong class is exactly what my postpartum body has been craving! I’m still healing and I know I need to take it easy (ie am not ready to do my pre-pregnancy workouts), but I am ready to feel strong in my body again not only because it helps functionally with everything involved in taking care of a baby, but it’s a way I can reclaim my body after giving birth. Susan pieces together a wide array of exercises for birthing people at various stages of their postpartum journey with lots of options for each portion of class. This is a unique program catered toward people who are ready to strengthen in a safe, postpartum-specific way with someone who has been in the field for years and has skillfully crafted a way for postpartum bodies to rebuild strength. All of this plus the community-building aspect that comes with every GROW class is why I am so happy to be a part of this program.

I found GROW after my first was born and loved participating in the classes/playgroups. I was starting to go crazy being home with a newborn all day by myself and started going to groups 3 days a week. I met so many great moms and still keep in touch with several of them.

My second pregnancy ended with a traumatic and emotional situation. Three weeks after my daughters were born I joined the Saturday morning coffee chats and Susan was the first person outside of my family to hear about my experiences and loss. She provided a safe space and many resources. She helped me share my story and meet another great group of moms. The Saturday morning groups became a very necessary part of my weekly schedule and provided me support I didn’t even know I needed.

Susan is an incredible and invaluable resource for pregnant women. I have taken her prenatal and post-natal yoga classes for two pregnancies. The classes are amazing and you find a great support network of others going through the same issues as you are with your changing bodies. Susan's tidbits of advice cannot be found in any book or internet search - it's from her many years of experience. She also has mom and baby groups and (when not in a pandemic year) hosts a Mother's Day yoga for any and all previous yoga participants. It's like a great big hug and self-care. I recommend her classes to anyone going through pregnancy.

I have been a member of the GROW community for 6 years now. Susan has an incredible gift at forming connections between herself and others. She is a wealth of knowledge of all things pregnancy, newborn, family, and yoga. I never miss her Mother’s Day yoga. I miss being a regular attendant in her classes, they nourish the body and soul. Taking her classes during my pregnancies also provided me with life long connections with other parents and children that were going through the same experiences. We formed a common bond that has preserved me and my family through these crazy, isolating times. GROW is an institution that supports and reinforces the fabric of our community and is invaluable in times like these. Thank you GROW and Susan for continuing to shine your light on others.

I recently began taking postnatal yoga classes at GROW. Susan immediately made me feel welcome and like part of the group, with no questions surrounding my current ability. I love that I can bring my daughter along to the sessions, which she also loves (especially meeting new babies at the playgroup) I already feel at home here and will be extending my membership at the end of the month. Keep up the great work, GROW!

Susan and the Grow community have been a blessing to me through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am especially grateful for the ways that the studio has shifted throughout the pandemic. My first was 6 months old when quarantines started and I have been able to continue my practice with this amazing community without interruption. Being able to practice live yoga, even virtually, is an essential part of my life and I can’t imagine a better community to support me through the joys and challenges of motherhood.

This isn’t just a regular yoga studio. It’s a community where you will truly feel supported. I’ve taken prenatal classes, birthing classes, postnatal classes, infant classes etc here and always had an amazing experience. Even when I haven’t been to a class in a while I still feel so supported by Susan and love the community she’s built! Highly suggest!

Susan and her staff have created something truly special. The prenatal yoga classes I did help me in so many ways: get in touch with my pregnancy, build community with other pregnant people, and prepare for child birth. A no-brainer: you have to connect with GROW if you are a pregnant person in the area. You will be so happy you did!

I was introduced to Evolution/Grow through a friend during my first pregnancy. As someone who does not normally do much yoga, it surprised me how much I liked the pre and post natal yoga. It’s more than a yoga class though, it’s a community full of incredible women, learning from and supporting each other, just a truly magical place.

I attended GROW locally in 2017/2018 with my first child. It was a wonderful welcoming community and met some lifelong friends there. I did prenatal, postnatal and baby/toddler yoga classes. My son still loves to do yoga at 4 years old. I also attended virtually during the start of the pandemic as I lived out of state and was pregnant with my second child. It was still wonderful, and gave me a sense of community during an uncertain time. ❤️ I did yoga every day during my pregnancy, and continued my best in my postnatal time. Susan has such a great community, and Grow has the best yoga classes along with child birth and new baby education classes!

I absolutely loved the prenatal/postnatal and birth preparation that I received at GROW! Having a baby (my first) in the middle of a global pandemic can be extremely isolating and leave you with lots of questions. Susan and the rest of the team were extremely patient, helpful, and kind, creating a welcoming environment for this nervous first time mama to GROW!

Grow is a fantastic asset to the community. Because of their meetups almost six years ago I gained friends in the mom community. The owner is a lovely human who genuinely cares about her clients and the work she does. Currently taking infant massage and have taken prenatal and postnatal yoga in the past as well as yoga for kids. Every class and instructor has been so wonderful. I highly recommend Grow to any caregiver/parent.

Everything about GROW has been wonderful! We took the 3 part birthing education class with Allison, and could not feel more prepared and confident for birth. I want to say a huge thank you to Susan and all the Evolution team for incredible support throughout this first time mom's pregnancy and baby's arrival. The experience was so enjoyable, provided excellent information and was filled with kindness and fun. I felt incredibly healthy thanks to the wonderful yoga instructors; I felt super well-informed about birth and breastfeeding thanks to classes offered through Evolution; and I got great postnatal support from Evolution PT, baby music classes and Saturday morning coffee chats! I will definitely be back for eventual baby #2 and highly recommend all the Evolution programs to any new moms. Thank you!!!

I've attended pre and post-natal yoga classes, infant yoga and massage and a couple of playgroups - the instructors are all kind and supportive and there is a lot of flexibility if you are unable to make a class! I also love that the playgroups are free! As a new mom, it's great to have a space to gather with other moms, or even just a place to go when you need to get out of the house with your baby. I would encourage anyone who is expecting or has young kiddos to check out some of the offerings!

I have regularly attended pre and postnatal classes in both the Burlington and Essex studios. I am always greeted with a smile and warm hello. Susan, Nicole and all the other instructors are fabulous. They understand the body and pay attention to your poses to help you get the most out of your class and avoid getting injured. Even if classes are packed, you still receive pointers and excellent care. I can tell a difference in my body and I know I'm getting stronger. The community of women they have built is amazing. Totally accepting and judgement free. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a good community, and a happy place to practice yoga. Thank you, Susan!

This place is FANTASTIC! They have great pre/postnatal yoga classes, provide a warm, nonjudgmental space for folks to enjoy each other’s company ( or commiserate the woes of pre/postnatal shifts). They also have great birthing classes, breastfeeding classes, and newborn care classes. I can not recommend them highly enough!

I couldn't have imagine my pregnancy without Susan and Morgan. Such a warm and nurturing place for moms -to-be to connect and grow together. Just a few of the MANY amazing class offerings include prenatal yoga, lactation classes, and the all important birth class. Evolution made my rough pregnancy as stress free as it possibly could have been. If I still lived in VT I would still be a weekly visitor to the studio with my daughter who will be one in October!

Susan and the entire staff at Evolution are wonderful. In preparation for our first baby, we signed up for the Childbirth Education Weekend class, the Newborn Care Class (both led by Susan Cline Lucey), and the Breastfeeding Class (led by Sally MacFadyen). I highly recommend all three for any parents-to-be. Susan is fantastic - she is highly knowledgeable and creates an open, supportive and welcoming environment to ask questions and get to know the other families in your childbirth class. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does and has a lot of experience working with first-time parents. We've very glad we chose Evolution and look forward to continued support through postnatal yoga and playgroups after our baby arrives!
