Working with Jen during and after my pregnancy was hands down one of the best decisions I made for myself. She took the guess-work out of what was safe for me at each stage, and even though I’m reasonably motivated to exercise, the app she uses for at-home workouts between in-person sessions kept me on track and accountable. She is incredibly knowledgeable and read/adjusted my movements so precisely — lessons I’ll carry with me. Finally, Jen is friendly, flexible, and such a good cheerleader for her clients during this wild stage of life. I wish every woman could work with her!

Jen creates postpartum workouts that give women a foundation to build from. She uses her scientific knowledge as well as her personal experiences to tailor workouts that target the right muscles to help us not only recover but build a foundation to get stronger. She’s motivating, flexible, and very knowledgeable. I feel like I’m in good hands when I’m working out with her and I love that she’s created a community with her new postpartum in-person series. I trained at a CrossFit gym prior to having my first baby and I feel like her program is helping me get back to my pre-pregnancy self.

If you're contemplating working with Jen, stop hesitating and go for it! Working with Jen has been my saving grace postpartum. She really really gets the full picture of fitness while pregnant and/or postpartum and it makes all the difference. I'm a big endurance athlete and she got me moving safely 6w postpartum and then back into substantial exercise in a controlled and motivating environment. The accountability in the early pp months was critical and she is there to cheer you on and keep you moving toward your goals even when sleep deprivation is high and your motivation is low. As you transition back to feeling stronger and more energetic she's right there with you and will evolve your program in a way that supports your goals and pushes you. She got me back to a place where I felt I could safely do 100 mile bike rides, lift heavy without modification, and increase mom-specific strength as my son ages so I can continue to lift and carry him without injury. There were (are) quite a few days where I would be at my wits end with the parenting experience and it was a true gift to be able to step into the gym with Jen and leave it all behind for an hour so that I could return more up to the task. Can't say enough good things! I wish every woman and mom had the opportunity to work 1:1 with Jen!

Jen has been the most incredible support throughout my pregnancy and I look forward to returning to her postpartum. She is an absolute wealth of knowledge and can be trusted wholeheartedly to program movement that is functional, fun, and most importantly safe and appropriate for your current phase of life and goals. Jen provides gentle encouragement to reframe the way prenatal and postpartum fitness is thought about. She is empowering, encouraging, and a genuinely caring presence to have as a part of your wellness support team. I am SO glad I began working with Jen and know my pregnancy has been so much more comfortable because of it!

I worked with Jen after the birth of my daughter and it was the best postpartum decision I made. I was nervous to get back into exercise, despite lifting throughout my pregnancy, but Jen made me feel so comfortable and supported every step of the way. She is incredibly knowledgeable, very detail oriented, and an overall amazing human. She helped me systematically work back up to my pre-baby workout routines safely and confidently. I cannot recommend working with Jen highly enough!

Jen has been AMAZING to work with during my pregnancy! As a highly active athlete and physical therapist myself, her knowledge and assistance during my changing fitness journey has been invaluable. I could not recommend her enough to anyone in their prenatal and postpartum phases. Can't wait to work with her postpartum myself!

I started working out with Jen in April 2023 in preparation for my busy season at work. Being a wedding photographer is not only physically taxing but also has a lot of desk days sitting at my computer editing. I’ve been dealing with low back pain after an injury in 2020 and wow has Jen helped me become stronger and stronger. Not only did my back hurt significantly less carrying my cameras around all day, but I could go longer periods of time sitting at my office desk during the week too. I also recently got on a snowboard for the first time this season and overall felt so much stronger on the mountain. This has made me even more confident for our ski trip out west this winter. It’s an amazing feeling not having to worry about my back feeling sore!
Jen’s knowledge and genuine care for her clients make her an exceptional personal training instructor. You can truly tell she absolutely loves what she does. Investing in your body and health is so important, especially as we get older. I am so grateful for the positive impact she has had on my physical health and overall quality of life. Work out with Jen! You won’t regret it.

Jen is by far the best trainer I have ever had! She brings a warm, supportive energy to every session and she is AMAZING at her work.
She designs workouts to challenge you, while understanding your current fitness level and what your body needs. Her workouts are the perfect blend of strength training and cardio, with a focus on core conditioning. You will feel all around better and stronger if you follow her plans!
Jen is amazing at understanding body mechanics and communicating the best way to improve your form. Her cues will be super helpful whether you are a beginner or an experienced lifter.
Jen also focuses on core work, which is perfect for pre- and post-partum women. She really understands what your body goes through and how to prepare you for this really important part of your life. I especially appreciated how she integrates breathing with core awareness in all of the movements she coaches, not just the core-specific ones. Her approach is functional and would be invaluable to a woman at any stage of her pregnancy and childbirth journey.
Most importantly, Jen is super kind. I always feel that she really takes the time to understand me as a person and what I need from our sessions. Not only am I getting stronger, but I feel really comfortable and confident because I know that Jen has my back in that process.
I feel stronger in every part of my life after working with Jen and I cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Jen is truly the best trainer I've ever had. Her knowledge of fitness, her expertise of programming workouts and her ability to instruct is topnotch. She pays attention to details - not only with explaining moves but also with the needs and ability of each individual in her classes. Her workouts are manageable; yet she will push you, appropriately, when she feels you can handle more weight or a boost in your workout. I completely trust her and feel so strong and confident in her classes.

Working with Jen was one of the best decisions I made postpartum. I've known Jen for many years, and had the pleasure of working out with her before my pregnancy. She always comes to sessions prepared, knowledgeable, and in such an approachable way. This helped tenfold in my postpartum journey back to regular exercise. Jen was able to make tailored adjustments in the moment when things felt off. She listened intently to my goals and how I was feeling each session. As a mom herself, she brings that unique perspective, and understands the impacts of pregnancy on our bodies and how we might be feeling week-to-week. She also knows well that life happens when you're a mom (sleepless nights, sickness, daycare closures, etc.) After pelvic floor physical therapy, I found myself wanting more, but not feeling ready for a Crossfit class. Jen is the bridge between gentle exercises, like bird dogs, and heavy back squats. Though my goals included getting back in Crossfit and running, I would encourage anyone (mom or not) to see Jen for personal or small group training. She brings a kind, calm energy to workouts that make each session with her feel good, both mentally and physically. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Jen! Book her today!

I would 10/10 recommend Jen F as a personal trainer to anyone, but particularly if you are in the pregnancy or postpartum phase of life, you NEED to work with Jen. I've done group fitness classes for years (cycling, Crossfit, bootcamps, running, etc) and after I was cleared to workout 6 weeks postpartum, I had no idea where to begin to rebuild my body after pregnancy, but I knew that I wanted to do so in an intentional way that would leave me feeling confident in my movements & injury free. Enter personal training sessions with Jen F. Jen is so knowledgeable and just gets it, honestly. The fact that she's navigated pregnancy & postpartum herself, she understands all of the nuances that comes with working out in this phase of life. When I started with her, there were so many core related movements my body couldn't yet do. She programmed so thoughtfully and coached me through every session, providing tips & modifications where needed, and pushing me when she knew I could handle more. I immediately started noticing a huge difference in how my body felt (in the best way!). After a few months of working with Jen 1x week, I "graduated" back into regular workout classes. I found that with all of my knowledge after working with Jen, I could go into regular group fitness classes with confidence. Don't hesitate to reach out to work with her!

Jens' programming has changed my life. My full time job as a photographer includes a LOT of time at a desk, but also a lot of physical activity on wedding days: holding heavy equipment for long periods of time, standing for hours, squatting, moving furniture - you name it. Over the past few years I started to notice a few small aches and pains that started hindering how great I felt both the day of and the day after weddings. I reached out to Jen this past January and have been working with her regularly for almost a year - both in her small group classes and in personal training sessions.
In the past 10 months I've gotten noticeably stronger, have more energy, and more importantly, ALL of my small aches and pains have gone away - so much so, that my husband noticed how much of a difference it's made in how I feel after a weekend of wedding coverage!
Not only is Jen is welcoming, full of great energy, but you can tell she really loves her career and that she's is an expert in her field. Her small group classes are dynamic and challenging and Jen is constantly paying attention to our form, giving us multiple options on the spot if our range of motion is limited for a certain movement, and consistently giving us each a gentle push when she knows we can work harder.
Jen is a gem in the industry - do not hesitate to work with her!
