Love this place! Pat, the owner, is super kind. All the other patrons I've interacted with are friendly, too. Diverse clientele with a community vibe. Super clean. Affordable. Has everything I need for workouts (weights, bars, benches, machines, open space) and a really nice locker room (showers, towels, soap, feminine products, hair ties, and an infrared sauna). Really glad a friend recommended this place to me.

I've been working out my entire adult life and have trained at various gyms across the country and in Burlington, VT. Unfortunately, this gym feels overpriced for what it offers. Additionally, the gym owner is unhelpful if you bring up any issues or concerns to him. There are other places that worth the money in my opinion.

I moved up here and tried many gyms. Synergy is by far the cleanest, extremely classy, organized with beautiful well maintained equipment. There is lots of weights dumbells up to 150s. Also has towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash in all of the many showers. Definitely my new home, recommend.

Synergy's offerings are exemplary. If you are looking to become fit, maintain or even complete in any way, this is a great club for all levels of fitness. I've been in and around the fitness industry much of my life; and I can say Patrick takes a great deal of pride in providing the members with excellent equipment, a great atmosphere, and a very clean facility. There are also thoughtful touches throughout the facility that clearly communicates he cares about providing his members the best.

Becca and Jess clearly have an issue with one specific person that has nothing to do with the gym besides he is a member. Pat is a fantastic owner and would have handled any issue right away if they’d expressed their concerns to him. Synergy is the best gym around hands down! Great gym! Cleanest around with top-level equipment. Members are considerate and wipe down everything they use. Not crowded typically, with plenty of equipment options so you can power through your workouts. The owner, Pat, is super helpful and one of the nicest people that you will ever meet. A great gym!! Most importantly, very clean and well maintained…in fact probably the cleanest, most organized gym I’ve ever been at. Great member etiquette…nearly everyone by uses the provided spray bottles/cloths and rerack their weights. The trainers are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Spacious, airy with tall ceilings, a wall of windows and a huge cupola skylight. Top quality equipment…mostly Life Fitness, Hammer Strength and Cybex. At least one of everything and some unusual pieces not normally found in a gym.

I moved to Burlington area early this year and I have been looking for a gym. I like to exercise regularly and I was looking for a gym with a mix of free weights and machines. I found this place via web search so I thought I would give it a try despite some concerns. First thing I noticed right off the bat is how small the gym is.

The reason that made me decide to leave this place for good and write this review is a very not pleasant experience from one of the gym goers with a big ”USAF” ¡nk on the chést. I left my full review on Yêlp. I don't recommend this place to any young woman.

My husband and I were recently in Vermont on vacation. We wanted to work off some of those vacation calories so we purchased a couple of $12 day passes here. They had pretty much everything we needed!

We go to a pretty high end gym back home and this gym had nearly all the same stuff. There is just about any machine you could want, plenty of equipment, the showers even have soap and shampoo and stuff. Everything was clean and we'll maintained too. We go to Vermont at least once a year so we will definitely be back here on our next trip. And if we ever move to the Burlington area like my husband wants this will definitely be our gym.

Laissez-faire atmosphere. Owned by a good human being who cares about fitness and personal health. Prices are fair and what is offered is competitive in comparison to neighboring gyms.

At first I was wondering where all of the spray bottles were in the gym, until I realized they were all at the entrance. I appreciate greatly that they have enough for each person to use their own - I always disliked how gyms keep general spray bottles for everyone, and couldn't understand how touch points could be reduced if everyone touched the same spray bottle to disinfect.

Way to go Synergy, you understand how it should be during this global pandemic.

I've only reduced one star for the apparent lack of staff. To someone new, you would be very confused as to what needs to be done when entering for the first time.

Often traveling, I have worked-out in my fair share of gyms around the country. Burlington has one of the best I have found. Synergy is truly a breath of fresh air, in a world of mediocre gyms. It's the perfect balance of free weights, machines, cardio and open space. Pat, the owner, takes immense pride in his facility as it is perfectly spotless. In addition, the equipment has obviously been thoughtfully curated. If you're traveling through Burlington, this is the best gym in town. And if you live there, you have a gem 💎 of a gym 🏋️ right in your own backyard.

I am retired and now live out of state. I have worked out in gyms most of my life. Approaching the age of seventy I still compete in powerlifting. Several weeks during the summer I live in Vermont. Synergy Fitness is my go to gym/fitness center. The facility is clean, the equipment is well taken care of and diverse.
Pat, the owner is a gentleman. I dropped my sweatshirt in the Parking lot. Pat found it, washed it and notified me. One of the trainers, Kathy has been training people for many years.
If you are new to fitness or an old soldier at fitness I recommend Synergy Fitness.

Speaking for only group fitness: Whether you're a longtime fan of Zumba or you're trying it for the first time, I highly recommend taking a class with Brittany Borja! Brittany brings so much energy and authenticity when it comes to dance. She loves what she does, and it shows. I also appreciate when she takes a moment to explain the correct form and sprinkle words of encouragement throughout (and right now classes are outside, weather-permitting!). A very nice gym for the average gym goer. Plenty of cardio machines and dumbells along with a good class selection. They could use a second squat rack and more bumper plates. They have a nice shake/protein bar selection and incorporate services such as massage into their business. The gym is clean and the staff are friendly.

This gym is clean and the environment is nice. I've never paid so much for a gym membership in my life, though. I'm used to paying $10-20 a month for a Golds. This place charges close to $70. I get a $10 discount becasue I work in the same building, but it's still ridiculous considering what you get.

Moved to Vermont few years back. Being from Cali and other places I have lived I am shocked how much this gym charges.

70 dollars for what ? Have you ever looked at a Powerhouse or Gold's Gym ? I paid 35 dollars a month for those and they had everything and were 3 to 4 times the size.

10 visits for 99 dollars ? You got to be kidding. I am sure the management and the place has nice people working their.

Synergy fitness is amazing. Friendly trainers, great staff and easily one of the nicest gyms I've been to in the new england area. All the equipment is new, and the facility is incredibly spacious and open. The facility also receives an enormous amount of light which makes it look inviting and comfortable. There is a separate weight training room for hardcore lifters along with plenty of cardio equipment and machines to accommodate any individuals needs and goals. Synergy has group fitness classes and spinning classes that are excellent! They also just added a spa with full time massage therapist. Don't forget to check out the smoothie bar, they make delicious smoothies! Oh and did I say the place is immaculately clean!

It's a good gym if you're a body builder, but you don't get much for paying almost $70 a month. It's a nice facility, but again, for paying that much, I'd like to see it open 24/7, and I shouldn't have to wait for 15 minutes if I want a smoothie at the end of my workout.

I've called this place SIX TIMES to ask about a membership. No one has ever answered the phone or returned my calls. My son finally went there in person and said the lady at the desk was so rude that he wouldn't work out there for free.

It's pretty telling that the form on their website for "feedback" doesn't even work. Clearly, they don't want any feedback.

I stumbled upon this gym when I was working in the building it is located in Williston and I am so glad I found it. A really friendly staff is only the start but what makes this place great is the quality of the equipment and the huge amounts of natural sunlight that pours into the room. The space is incredibly clean with spacious locker rooms and a really clean showers and bathrooms. It's also very Eco-Friendly (which is a big plus) and they try to minimize their footprint as much as possible.

The membership is very diverse with young and old from all walks of life. The owners are really outgoing and friendly -- and they typically walk around and ask people how their days are and how their experiences are.

One thing that is great is that they let you try out the gym. They also give you a free session with a personal trainer. The trainers all have a different philosophy and you choose the one that is best suited for what you are looking for in a work out.

I'm very lucky to have found this gym. It's a good fit for me and fits my budget perfectly. I like it a lot.

The facilities are amazing but they are horrible book keepers. They didn't charge me for months for my membership and then out of the blue charged me a lump sum. When I called them about this they blamed it on me and said I had insufficient funds which wasnt' true. Their customer service is really poor. The owner is unprofessional and rude.
