I’ve been to a lot of gyms, but this one is different. It’s never overcrowded, the vibe is super friendly! The manager actually know your name and welcomes you in! The coach is awesome as well! I met with him after signing up and he made my workout fun but also pushed me in the best way. I’ve noticed real progress in just a couple months, and it feels good to be part of a place where people actually want you to succeed rather than just trying to take your money. If you’re debating joining, just do it. Best decision I’ve made for myself this year.

Anytime Fitness Ashland has completely changed the way I view working out. The gym is always clean, the equipment is new and in great condition, and there’s a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Great Experience! For a simple one day workout down here for vacation its a great spot. Has plenty of machines, isn't packed, and has a great management team. Their private showers were awesome and there were no faulty machines, cardio equipment, nor anything faulty in the bathroom. Seriously considering switching to a anytime fitness closer to home!

The gym itself is mediocre from an equipment and space perspective, and fees higher than better gyms in other areas. Options are limited in the area however, so my rating isn't impacted by this aspect. After some months my wife and I decided a further commute to a gym with better equipment and more space was worthwhile, so we joined a gym another 10min further from home. We did this knowing we signed up for a year, fine, we will wait it out and cancel. I mailed the cancellation letters shortly after the year. 2 months go by with continued billing, I explained this as possibly it just takes some processing time. After more feed deducted from my account, I emailed them asking if my letters were received. I was told they were not, and something about corporate to blame, but I mailed the letters to the gym location itself as instructed in the contract. I explained I wanted to cancel my wife's and my membership, the letters weren't received, not worth the argument about that, she said she would handle the cancellation. Fees continued after being told this would be cancelled, I reached out each time. I finally got a notification of cancellation... then another draft for my wife's membership. I emailed again, news to them my wife's was to be canceled too even though it was clearly stated in the first and subsequent emails in the same thread. This was too much at this point and I asked the fees be refunded that were drafted since this email chain began (3 billing cycles), which feels gracious to not argue about the date since mailing letters. All replies stopped at this point. The small amount of money billed since emailing with someone acknowledging my cancellation request, is worth more to the gym than business ethics, or this negative review.
TLDR: Gym is mediocre, cancellation a nightmare, there's a wonderful gym the next town over and is worth the drive.

Visited from out of town with my family who is also franchised with Anytime. The facility was very well kept and had a great atmosphere. It was clean and had a good variety of equipment as well, including several more niche pieces that I enjoyed trying out. If I come back and visit the area again I would absolutely come back, and I recommend it to anyone in the area. Also that 1 star comment from around 9 months ago was hilarious to read

I love this gym immensely- I just started in January I really love coming to Anytime Fitness. I started this journey in hopes to get my health back in order. Not only have I gained muscle and strength but I have also met some of the most fun people to work out with. Jennifer who runs this gym is absolutely amazing. She's very friendly and maintains the gym really well. Staff come in of all hours to clean the gym multiple times a day. Any issues can easily be brought up and will be fixed quickly with absolutely no pushback and the amenities are amazing. I Girl show up I Ask, Very Nice if You was Problem with the sistem she not even let me finish very fast close the door very rude. By then The Guy help Me Early Came Out Of The gym and talk to my and I ask if he got problems.? he Tell Me the girl is the Manager..!! What..!! I couldn’t believe it that because she was so disrespectful..!! the point of this I have all the info in the phone saying I’m I active member and it just was I second from their time and nether one look for me.! by the way I’m not look like crazy person or nothing I have multiple ID with me and nice aperrease.
this is just for the owner, if they are like this you probably are loosing costumers not even that I went to cvs to buy water after 11 hrs driving on the road tired on the way back she was on the stair master I was trying to show her my phone the pass the says active to se if it was I problem with the door and she said phones not work or something like that but not even she try she look!! Sho look back to ther friends and laugh at me!! making me feel not even like homeless any Cain of affection or just careless. I feel like I’m loosing my time after 11 driving on the road to bring you guys the goodies and food the you eat and enjoy. I think I earn little bit of respect even just be human. if it was regular costumers .! I didn’t care but I know they work there and it was no midnight of crazy hrs (19:40 to 20:20) to be scare just look the cameras .
I will call tomorrow costumer service to see what happen with my key, it can not happen again I count on you guys for I long time.! to shower and take care of my self.! nation wide. At this point is not even get in the gym !! is the lack of respect from this guys or girls !! Who knows.!!

The gym is small but always clean. Machines stay in working order and has everything you need to get in a good workout. But what really stands out is the amazing staff. Jennifer has been so warm and welcoming from day 1, always asking how things are going and being the best cheerleader for my fitness goals. You can tell that she really cares about all of the members. Josh's competency, personality and genuine investment into me as a client has already catapulted me into a level of fitness that I never would have gotten to on my own. Please be aware when trying to cancel your membership. I sent in two cancelation forms back on August 10th of 2023. ABC Fitness who handles there billing only cancelled one account and continued to charge us for the last 4 months on an account we requested to cancel. We called ABC Fitness who asked us to send over all the documentation we had, showing the we had sent in the forms and also the email replying showing they got it, which we did, also in the email we requested to cancel the account immediately, and guess what, they still never cancelled it . We never heard back from ABC Fitness, shocking..... We get a call the other day asking to update the card for the billing, we were confused as to why as we had asked several times (we have the email proof) to cancel the account. The lady in the office asked us to forward the emails to them, which we did. We called back to day and they finally cancelled the account, but we would not get a refund, even though we should proof we had done everything to cancel the account, dating back to August of last year, but somehow, they don't find fault in their business practices. We advised the lady since they did not want to refund the monies that were due to us, because we had done everything were suppose to do to cancel the account, we would file a charge back and they could dispute it with the credit company, which they do not have a leg to stand on as we have email proof.

Solid gym. Great hanging ball punching bag for them uppercuts and good gloves to go with it. Doesn't offer too many bells and whistles but enough space and options to use what you want to get what you need. I would say that they missed the mark with the squat machine. I mean, you have a squat rack and you have a Smith machine. The squat machine space could be better utilized by a hack squat or something that you can't get from either a true squat or modified smith machine movement. But that's just a personal preference. All in all a good gym.

This gym is amazing! I’ve had a membership for nearly two years now and have been to AS MANY anytime fitness’ as possible. I’m currently a member here, and this location is phenomenal! From the staff to the members of the community, through and through, everyone I’ve met here makes this place feel like home and allows for some of the greatest gym experiences anyone could ask for. I went there last year thinking it cheaper but I find out other gym have monthly charge of 30 dollars while anytime fitness charge 50 a month and here is the best part the manager Jennifer she will try to lure into this bad contract that when you try to get out you won’t be able to get out and they will cut money from you account biweekly plz save your money and go to other gym beside this one.

If I could give negative stars I would. Save your money and time. You would be better off working out in purgatory than wasting your time and breathe in this sorry excuse for a gymnasium. If I had a Time Machine with one wish, my wish would be never stepping foot in this gym. They will lock you into a crazy contract that will absolutely mislead you, and then… here’s the best part… if you want to cancel, you have to write them a little letter asking for permission, wait 30 days, and then THEY SAY NO AND CHARGE YOU MORE! Aw isn’t that always nice :)

Well, the key access works.. which is great. Unlike the other location on pole green road. Seems like those owners don't care about fixing anything over there. So instead of a 15 minute drive, now it's 25 to 30 minutes. Short pump location looks like they have their stuff together. 👍👍

I have not used this membership since the month I stupidly opened it. It says on the contract that it is a open ended membership that is monthly. It should be able to cancel if I want to cancel it. The two people over the phone that I talked to said I have to put it in writing which I did through email. They have not cancelled my membership and are still charging me. It's quite alright though because I will dispute it with my bank. They are all about money. So is most every other gym you go to. It's better these days to get your own equipment at your house. The guy that opened the membership for me Celcil opened it for 18 months not a year like I originally thought I was signing up for. This business should not be in business. Terrible customer service!!!!!

I went to this gym almost everyday for a year, I was getting ready to cancel then I found out they signed me up for the wrong membership (they signed me up for 16 months but I thought it was 12) I ONLY got this because the school gym was closed for covid. I am a full time college student I don’t have a whole lot of money to spend but I wanted to keep going to the gym. They got me to sign promising me a free month of the hydro massage, well when I mention that to them, well that was a lie. A year later I was ready to cancel, they said they can’t cancel for 6 more months, then I got mad about that. About two weeks later the guy told me in person he would get my Membership canceled, and I was super thankful because I do not have a job because school started, well every two weeks I’ve been charged still. So I call the gym and now apparently they have new management and they wouldn’t honor the cancellation. So I have been lied to multiple times here. Once January hits my membership will be canceled and I would never come back to this facility or any anytime fitnesses.

Great mid-sized gym that is never too crowded. Good variety of equipment, only lacking a Smith machine, decline bench, and calf-specific equipment. They do have three squat racks, which is more than most gyms this size. You won't find full-sized lockers here, but they have 3 private changing/bath rooms, 2 of them with showers. The Hydro Massage room is a nice add-on ($10/month), and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of pressure and specificity it is able to apply. There are always clean gym towels available to use, and they also have workout drinks for purchase at a reasonable price. Cecil, the manager, is very friendly and helpful, and spends a lot of time communicating with members and ensuring gym cleanliness. I highly recommend this gym!
