There are several things that I needed when looking for a gym: Up to date equipment, cleanliness, a lot of open times and the ability to mind my own business. Anytime Fitness Lovettsville has fit the bill for me. The gym is always spotless and the equipment always clean. They have all the equipment you could need (machines, weights, cardio, functional) without having so many that it is overwhelming. Was very pleased to see an assisted dips station, which you don't find in a lot of gyms. Showers available, water stations as well as a small protein drink refrigerator. Being able to get in whenever I have time is a massive bonus as somedays that will be 4AM. Rates are very competitive, and the membership seems to be people that just want to work out instead of having to deal with the influencers spending their time taking pictures. Very pleased

Great gym experience. My son and I were looking for a laid back gym to join and this checks all the boxes. The staff is super nice and informative. The other members are pleasant and respectful of the gym etiquette. Our summers have been busier than planned, but because they are open 24 hours, we’ve still been able to stay on track.

The wipes are better than most any other locations and they always maintain cleanliness. I like that the gym equipment is placed appropriately as well. Everyone is also super friendly as well (just Loudoun things :) )

This is the cleanest, friendliest, most efficient and fabulous gym I’ve had the pleasure of joining. PT sessions with AJ have been a total game changer. AJ’s knowledge is vast, but he still takes the time to explain his training approach and the muscle groups targeted with each exercise. He attentively listens to his clients’ concerns, and curates programs that specifically target our needs. So far we’ve focused on enhancing mobility and strength training, and in a few short months I feel stronger, so psyched to come to the gym, and my chronic knee pain has subsided. Give this man a medal.

At Anytime Fitness in Lovettsville, there is truly a wonderful personal trainer, Bill Oxx. I have been working with him since joining the gym and he has helped me become stronger and more confident in my abilities. He pushes you, but is also mindful of whatever physical challenges you have. He can modify any exercise to meet your particular needs. And he asks how you are doing before every session and pivots if needed. I highly recommend Bill for personal training and Anytime Fitness in Lovettsville as a great gym. Since joining in April 2024, I’ve been really impressed with Anytime Fitness in Lovettsville. The staff is knowledgeable responsive, and no pressure! Ali was very clear and knowledgeable about all the membership details and made becoming a member an easy process. Trainer Bill Oxx has been fantastic! He’s very knowledgeable and really listens to the concerns and goals I have and has helped me develop a routine that keeps me motivated! Monthly check-ins have been critical to helping me stay on course and motivated. The facility is very clean and has a good variety of equipment and tools. I’ve never had to wait for a piece of equipment.

I just joined a month ago and I really like this gym. Alie has been super helpful getting my membership worked out, and she's always available to help with any issues I have. Training with Shawn is fantastic. He's extremely knowledgeable about nutrition, exercises, stretching, and weights, and knows how to challenge me while also setting me up for success. I just started coming here and I've been impressed with everyone here! Alie and Shawn have been great! I was really impressed with Shawn's knowledge about nutrition and all of the things we need to look for in foods and vitamins. It was also cool to know that Shawn, my husband and myself all grew up in the same area and went to the same high school! Such a small world!! Alie was great with answering our questions and reassuring us that she takes her job seriously and always looks out for everyone. The gym is nice and clean. Definitely a nice environment and nothing like these other gyms you go to. I like that everyone is respectful including other gym members. Anytime Fitness is Lovettsville has been a dream gym for me these past few years. Coming home from college in the summers, I needed somewhere to complete my track workouts, and this gym was the perfect (and affordable) place to do so. I loved it so much that I kept my membership going after I graduated, and the gym is always clean, never too busy, and everyone (employees and fellow gym users) are always so nice and helpful!

I like this place and have been with it since the Brunswick days. It is conveniently located, well-lit and super clean. The equipment is first-rate and the ownership team keeps everything well-maintained. Apart from individual use, they have a variety of other programs to take into account almost any aspect of staying fit and healthy. And, Sarah, the manager, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Check it out.

Since my earlier note of several years ago, a new ownership team has taken over within the past couple of months and they have not missed a beat. This is a great gym, very good equipment, plenty of it, and the place is kept super clean to include all of the shower and bath areas. The new team also has two well-regarded personal trainers on staff. Lovettsville AF is the best gym for miles around, bright, clean and well-equipped 24/7.

Pulled down my old review of the Anytime Fitness in Lovettsville, which focused on the previous Management. I did this in order to give the new owner a fair shake as they took over the business. Unfortunately, I tried to rejoin the fitness center again, since it is under new management and ownership, based on my previous rate and it looks like the Anytime Fitness chain no longer uses discounted rates derived from insurance programs.
It's pretty expensive $$$ for small town Lovettsville, and to be honest, you can go to another facility that has programs and better equipment.

It is what it is - just a place to work out that is local and convenient.

I have been a member of AF Lovettsville for only two years. Previously I had written how clean the entire facility is and the great mix of equipment available. I’m happy to say Brian and Alie - the new owner and manager - have continued to maintain the level of the gym while adding their own touches! Best gym in the area! Excellent rates, I can bring guests during staffed hours, day passes are available as well. It's always clean, smells nice and kept at a pleasant temperature year round. The gym itself is super nice. Very clean, lots of variety in equipment. However, i am a sucker for customer service and during sign up, the employee (i think owner actually) was so sweet and personable. BUT then when i decided to cancel my membership because i moved and there was not a club close by (within 15 miles - per my contract), there was absolutely zero communication. I called the club to ask how to go about the cancellation process and i did as she said- i sent an email with proof of change of address. I received no response and my account continued to get charged. So i then mailed a typed letter to the club itself and requested a confirmation and again, no response. For me personally, this is unprofessional and to be honest, as someone who likes to budget and just bought my first home/ has to pay mortgage for the first time, i just wanted to know when to expect the cancellation fee and when my membership fees would stop being taken from my account. I guess i should add that the prices were a little steep and i found it ludicrous that i would be charged for bringing a guest. No hard feelings but like learn to communicate

This place is a complete scam! A college student was completely taken advantage of and sold a 2 year membership. He is in the area for only 10 months but can not freeze the membership and must pay a $50 fee to be released from the contract. When discussing the situation with the Manager, she cut us off and dismissed it as sorry there is nothing I can do. We will pay to break the contract but my issue is this site taking advantage of students. A two year contract should have never been sold to a college student. It is completely UNETHICAL! And the manager Sara did not want to accept responsiblilty for correcting this for future students. WATCH OUT!

They charge way too much, and they have hidden fees you don't know about until you are almost ready to sign up. The nearest gym is lovettsville Community Center, and they have a kid's size room with mostly aerobic equipment. It's unfortunate that anytime fitness has monopolized the area. It's time for a new gym to come open doors.
Staff is outspoken, claim they only waive your cancelation fee if you have a serious health issue like how they said "Brain Cancer," which I thought was an out of line comment to say. They were also the busiest when I asked, which was strange because there were 5 people inside. 🤔

I've seen some people call it 'small' but i never found it too small, Lots of good equipment, well maintained and the club is very clean. I was concerned about the size of this gym when I joined but it has never been an issue. There is plenty of equipment to use and if you’re not sure what you’re doing the mobile app comes in handy. The workout area and bathrooms are always immaculately clean. My employer allows me multiple gym memberships so I frequent between a few different gyms. This one in particular is my favorite.

I am a cancer patient at Johns Hopkins visiting from Florida who will only be in the area for 3 months. My doctors have suggested that I continue to exercise. I asked the owner of Anytime Fitness if he could waive the 18 month membership requirement under the circumstance since they do offer a 3 month membership for college students.
