This is an edit to a review I gave two months ago when I was unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the gym and lack of responsiveness from the staff.

Since then, Spotsylvania Anytime Fitness has hired a new general manager - Colin. He is great and very responsive, and certainly ensures the gym is clean and well stocked with cleaning wipes, etc.

The gym is now back to standard and has staff there for the hours posted on door. Additionally, I was able to sign up my two sons, with my oldest doing training sessions with Colin. I am back to being a satisfied customer and will recommend this local gym to all I know.

Excited to sign back up for Anytime Fitness. Initially went and missed a staff member and I sent an email. Collin was extremely quick with responding and being so accommodating with making sure I was signed up and had access.

I even had my 3 y/o with me, which if you have kids you know how antsy a toddler can be. Collin was super sweet and patient when my little one was curious about all his sticky notes, even sharing some fruity snacks with him. He was quick and efficient and I very much appreciated that with his professionalism.

I love this place. My older brother took me here when I was 15, and it really has a special place in my heart. I’m much older now. it means a lot having my own membership. The staff and people here, always make me comfortable, and safe where I stand and work. The staff has always been kind to me and I constantly see old friends here. It’s truly my favorite Gym in the world. 5/5 stars.

The place is what you would spect from a Anytime fitness, I have no problem with the gym equipment itself, however I reported an issue about a leak on top of the pendulum machine, same leak extend in the same section of pipe, 3 days after I reported issue nothing has been done, hopefully you guys know that if someone accidentally slips while performing an exercise on that machine can lead to the hospital in a heart beat. The response to the safety matters should be top priority and such thing as a leak on a gym is a mayor issue.

We never received our free month after referring another person to the gym. I found out today that the manager abruptly quit and that’s why I didn’t get the free month. I also went to the gym today and the paper towel dispensers were not refilled so there’s no way to clean the equipment unless you bring your own cleaning supplies. It sounds like the franchisee needs to visit his place of business and fix it. I didn’t sign up to be told lies and I’m not paying to bring my own cleaning supplies. It is also not my problem that this anytime fitness location can’t keep competent staff.

I have been a member since September 2024. Most recently I completed a series of personal training session with Collin. He was great to work with. He took the time to understand my weaknesses and liabilities and took in account that I was also in PT. He worked up a session plan to supplement my PT.

Also Christine is great to work with. The facility is clean and equipment is great.

I've been going to Anytime Fitness in Spotsylvania Courthouse for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! Anytime Fitness, Spotsylvania, Virginia is under new management. For me, not much has changed. The machines still work, the facility is well kept, and maintenance issues are handled as fast as possible (parts on order). I cannot speak to pricing because my health insurance covers my membership fees but I am able to say that the process for setting up my account with office staff was a snap. New management is still finding their way around what unique programs to offer the clientele who frequent that particular gym. The demographics cover folks with odd working hours, regular day jobs, and a good number of retirees. Personal trainers are available and can be arranged if you ask at the office. There is a full range of workout options from self-directed all the way up to needing coaching or direction for every exercise (which is especially important if you’re new to physical training). Bottom line: easy to visit, clean facility, plenty of gear, and friendly staff.

There’s no tours after 6pm and you can’t join without a tour. I work most days due to my job and don’t get off until 7pm at the earliest. For the only 24hr gym in the area, this is very disappointing.

I have been a Anytime Fitness member at different locations since 2012. This location is quite well ran and maintained. The equipment is not necessarily the latest available, but extremely well maintained, the staff are always pleasant. It offers a full range of equipment choices regardless of your fitness goals. I would recommend that the ownership increase the quantity of rowers, as there is only one at present.

The owner of the anytime fitness in Spotsylvania Va courthouse location at this location is very unprofessional.You would think he would be a better role model as a business owner. He’s staff are nice but when it comes to handling your account he likes to take money when not authorize no emails no reminder texts nothing. When calling to discuss account he gives reasons that doesn’t make sense. NOTE when signing up for a membership they give you a contract ,however it seems as his contracts like to change with no warning and before you know it whatever you sign up for isn’t what your going to get. Inform your customers don’t leave them hanging that’s what you call good business ownership.

Best Gym Experience. I tried personal training for the first time ever and it has been the best learning experience - not even close. I feel confident that I can achieve any goal I set. The coaches are so supportive and knowledgeable. They work with you to teach you what you need to know, including proper form and modifications if needed. I have never felt so supported. It's been amazing and fun! Largest Anytime Fitness I've ever seen. Whether I work out on my own or with the small training groups, I feel confident and strong. I'm a 50+ year old and I wish I had joined sooner! Great staff!

The owner of this Anytime Fitness is absolutely amazing! I moved to an area that had no other Anytime Fitness and I was worried because I was still under contract with the club. After speaking with the owner about my circumstance he was so helpful and accommodating to my situation. He really makes sure he sees the member first rather than making you feel like you're just another monthly payment. The club recently moved into a new location next door and it came with upgrades to equipment and more space. Great place and people!

Shannon walked me through the circuit training and it was definitely helpful. She is a very knowledgeable trainer and encouraged me every step of the way. You have access 24 hrs a day.
