We need a second stairmaster! We only have one and many of us regulars have to fight for it. I basically have a membership to use the stairmaster as much of my other workouts can be done in the living room. I think we would all benefit from a second! 🙏

Otherwise, it’s a great gum! It’s nearby and convenient, and the staff are great. Shoutout to Dom! He’s the best and both kind and helpful. He takes the time to get to know those who come regularly, and he cares about the health and fitness goals of the members. I’ve gone to many gyms over the years and he’s a gym GEM! Keep it up, Dom! This company’s membership cancellation policy is deceptive and feels deliberately designed to keep charging customers who are trying to leave. The process is buried in fine print, overly complicated, and full of delays that conveniently result in extra charges. I have been trying to cancel since last year.

This is not just bad business—it’s unethical. A legitimate company should make cancellation as straightforward as signup. Instead, they rely on confusing terms and slow responses to squeeze more money out of customers. I’ve filed a complaint with consumer protection agencies and will be warning others to stay away.

This is my third time trying to reach someone here. Finally thought of leaving a review. The door remains locked and I get it. But today, I took an appointment for 6:30 PM and was here on time. But no one is here, tried calling on the number I got as text confirming on appointment. It just directs to a voice mail like every time. Wasted my time and had drive from work directly.

Small, cozy and very nice design. I’ve been to multiple around the Spotsylvania / Fredericksburg area and this is by far the most creative designed, yet effectively simple. Has new modern equipment compared to other locations.

I initially had some hesitation about joining a gym of this size, it is very small and only able to handle about 20 people at once. But so far it's been fine and never overcrowded. Over the past few months they have made significant improvements in the quality of their staff and have also proved to be diligent in making repairs. They do have room to grow though, I would like to see some supplements beyond PMS medicine on the shelves, ..I'm serious, they only offer PMS medicine where the creatine supplement should be.

I go to this gym anytime I am in the area visiting. The environment is clean and welcoming, which is something I first look for when choosing a gym in a new area. I have a few insecurities so me feeling welcomed and not shamed is super important to me....I can actually take my time versus me trying to hurry up and leave! :-)
The management is also super friendly and caters to their customers- which is always a plus. I highly recommend this location if you're in the area!

Terrible experience. My wife originally thought she signed up for a month to month contract where she could cancel at anytime, instead she was locked into a month to month contract for two years. This would be no problem except for the fact that I received PCS orders to move with the military well outside of the 15 mile limit in the Anytime Fitness contract. According to the cancellation contract all she needs to provide is one piece of proof which PCS relocation orders are identified on the contract as acceptable. My wife sent Anytime Fitness a copy of the PCS orders to cancel the membership and she received an email back stating that they will be not be cancelling her gym membership, and copy and pasted their policy which confirms everything my wife did correctly to document/request a cancellation. Unfortunately this is a common issue with Anytime Fitness. I just wish we knew beforehand and did more research before signing up.

Update: They lied to make her think she was locked in for 2 years. After looking at her contract, she is signed up for the “Open Ended” version meaning she can cancel at anytime as long as she provides a written cancellation request. This is all information provided in her contract. Well, she did that and they tried to gaslight her into thinking she has the two year contract. Be careful signing a membership here. They’ll lie to you to make you think you signed a different membership when you try to cancel.

I have such mixed feelings about this gym. I joined the gym in April 2023, and it was great, I'm an early bird, so I go to the gym at 5am, I has privacy, the gym doesn't get too packed it is 24/7, which that is chef kiss for me, there was no other gym like this one. But then things happened. About 5-6 months ago, the gym smells really bad, I can think about any other description other than saying it smells like human gasses, it is TERRIBLE!! Can you imagine walking into a place at 5am and smell that!! Ugh!... Another con, is that they never answered their phone, it doesn't matter how manu messages you leave on the answer machine, they never get back to you, and that's just disrespectful. But the last thing that I was like, "okay, I need to get out of this gym" was me going to anytime fitness in Richmond, I was so please and upset at the same time, they have so much equipment and it does not smells, and it seems clean and nice. Then I came back to the stafford area and I was so disappointed that such an expensive gym in a brand new building have such bad maintenance. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ idk this is just my opinion

I would not recommend going here at all. They do not let you workout with another person. My wife and myself like to workout together and they sent me a text saying this is not allowed if we feel like you are a personal trainer you will be fined or locked out

It's a beautiful brand new gym. Very professional and knowledgeable manager and staff. If you like a more intimate private atmosphere then this gym is for you. 24 hour access and very clean.

The location is good and everything is in great condition. Since it's very new. They don't have much variety in the weight machines; there are two different chest machines, but no bicep or tricep machine, so you have to use cable exercises for that. There's a big open area covered with indoor outdoor carpet in the center of the gym, so perhaps they will use that for classes. But if they don't use it for classes I would like to see them put some more machines in just for variety.

I love that the gym's location. It's brand new so all of the equipment is clean and works great. I do wish there was a larger variety of machines like a leg press (not a seated leg press), hack squat, seated row/chest pull machines. I'm truly not trying to be picky, but there's a lot of space being taken up by a mat that will be used for group classes and I just think it could be better utilized with more machines. Other than that, I love going to this gym. The employees are nice and it's usually pretty clean compared to other ATF locations I've been to.

Stopped for an inquiry and ended up signing up after 10 minutes. Cecile got to the point and answered all questioned I had. Ended up stopping for info and me and my partner ended up signing up. Very pleased with everything here. Very clean and never too crowded.
