So I recently became a member here and I was helped by Nick and Carter. Nick is awesome. He helped me get signed up and explained to me the process. The process was quick and easy and Nick is hilarious! His personality has a way of making you feel comfortable and at ease . Carter , is phenomenal as well. He is going to help me with my workout goals and place me on the right trajectory so that I can meet them. I really like how big and muscular he is. As a client that gives you some inspiration. It’s like if you want your hair done 💇‍♀️ you’d want your stylist to always theirs done. In the same way, I feel I’m in good hands with Carter because you can tell he puts a lot of work into his fitness so I’m confident he’ll steer me in the right direction with mine. Stay away from Anytime Fitness anywhere. They are a bunch of swindlers who will take advantage of anyone they can. Lock you into contracts while hiding the fact at default they are 24month contracts and if you don't cancel in 3 days of signing will charge you $600 or the full 24months, also set you for auto renewal. If you wanna cancel before auto renewal you have to fill out a form and hand it to them IN PERSON a physical copy of canceling. What is this the 1800's? Hope these people are severely inconvenienced everyday of their life.

Pretty nice gym for the size... Missing a real bench press. Yeah you can drag a bench over to the power rack and then adjust everything to bench. But I didn't come to practice playing with a K'NEX set, I came to work out.

I am extremely frustrated with the customer service at Anytime Fitness. When I was moving earlier this year, I had a direct conversation with the location manager, and I was assured that my membership contract would end in July and would *not* auto-renew. Based on that assurance, I did not expect any further charges, but to my surprise, I was recently charged for another month.

I immediately reached out to the gym, but the lack of accountability and transparency in resolving the issue has been very disappointing. It’s incredibly frustrating to be misled by a staff member and then have to deal with the inconvenience of being charged after being promised otherwise.

I expected much better communication and customer service. If you’re considering joining, be very cautious and ensure you get all promises in writing—because the verbal assurances clearly don’t hold up.

I hope this review serves as a warning to others, and I would appreciate a resolution to this matter. At this point, I’m seriously considering canceling my membership permanently due to this experience.

Fantastic little neighborhood gym. Key fob gets you 24/7 access. Nice spread of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. Relatively small and can get pretty packed during peak hours, but if you go any time besides the evening rush, you'll be in pretty good shape. Equipment is consistently clean and in good repair.

I thought I was the only member that had this fraudulent transaction happen too. I was so hesitant to sign up at the new location by Publix because Stafford Anytime off 610 literally had my contract for 3 months and when it stopped, I was still getting charged. Cecil confirmed so many times that there wasn’t much he could do, even had me come in to personally watch me write a letter to send to the bosses. After repeatedly asking for the “lady” that was handling my case (mind you, I never ever got to speak with her) I was told only employees could talk to her. It went on for 6 months with ZERO money returned to me!

Stay clear and be aware of this fraudulent gym location. My worst mistake in early June was to attempt to obtain a membership at this location. I terminated the membership the same day I signed up (SO glad I did) but have continued to be billed biweekly even after submitting all the paperwork and signatures for cancellation. Cecil keeps confirming that a refund will be applied And processed for the two times I was fraudulently charged and that hasn't occured yet. Please save yourself the time and peace of mind and look elsewhere. This is the worst Business!

The gym itself is decent. Not too many people there if you go super early/late. I had training sessions with them from Feb 2023-Sept 2023. Training was good, even though I was getting a new trainer every 2 months because the trainers were quitting working there. I still was getting charged in August even though I signed up for 6 month training sessions & there was no trainer for a period. They did offer me sessions with a new trainer but at that point I was no longer interested. They STILL kept charging me. I talked to Cecil on the phone and he told me he does not deal with that and I would have to email their DM (I believe) to cancel my sessions. I emailed them a couple times and was still being charged for sessions. No one ever replied nor did they take action to stop charging me. A new trainer finally texted me asking if I wanted to come back in for sessions. I told her I’m not interested and to stop charging me. She said okay I’ll let them know. Now in March 2024, I get charged for training sessions when I have not spoken to ANYONE to renew my sessions. In the confirmation email saying I’ve paid, they sent me an August invoice. BEWARE. Maybe this review will get their attention and they will contact me.

I needed to cancel my membership because I can’t pay for it right now. Cecil came to the rescue and showed me that my membership was month to month and not contracted and I should freeze and not cancel. In a few months when I am back on my feet I can come back to my favorite gym! I love this facility because it is private but also I feel like the staff cares. It’s always clean and the equipment is never broken. I can’t wait to get back to it!

Nearly all the treadmills are broken but the one in the corner. Management hasn't done anything to try to fix them. I've brought it up 3x and it's been over 6-8 months that they've been broken. Certain treadmills don't incline, others don't go over a speed of 8mph, others have "sticking" issues when you run at high paces, and some don't even pick up a person is on them and will automatically shut down mid workout. The cable machines are broken and you can't even do chest flys, they charge us a yearly maintenance fee or fee for new equipment yet I haven't seen any new equipment in the gym or the current equipment being maintained. The water fountains don't work. What is going on!?

came to this location this past weekend, I dont know if theres been a new manager but that place was filthy. musty, there were dirt and dust bunny clusters around the machines. The carpets look sooooo dirty. the bottle filler was just spewing water and out of order. They had to put a water jug out for guests to fill their bottles.

Just moved to the area a few months ago. Extremely happy with the location and the fact that the gym is highly unlikely ever "to busy or packed". Enough equipment to accommodate most anyone. Everyone is either friendly or just keeps to themselves when working out. Feel extremely comfortable and secure with the key fob only access. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy in any way to sign up for anything.

I join about two weeks ago, I notice I was getting sick after workout. I look up and saw dust on the window panes and dust on the shades.......not just regular dust but caked up dust. I asked the manager Cecil and he says that HE does deep cleaning once a month. I informed him that this is more than just dust. HE stated that he would clean the place. Decided to cancel my membership after they changed their account freeze policy with out notice. They told me I'd have to come in (I live 45 minutes away) to cancel or send a certified letter which is a new policy they gave notice on. I did send the letter but told them they could not charge me. I still got charged. Stay away from them as they make it hard to cancel. I will win the dispute because the acknowledged they saw my request.

Was a member of this gym for 3 years using gym's video room mostly. Everything was fine until 2020. This year I barely came in, if any at all. I was out of the country first, then gym was replacing video equipment (no video classes), then pandemic started - gym was closed and, later, used video room for storing extra equipment removed from the floor to comply with new health requirements. I was patient - it is a small gym, needs to survive. I kept paying until July, then asked for my account to be frozen, because taking classes inside small video room seemed dangerous.

Sometimes in the fall I followed up with gym and was told that my account was frozen until end of December, but I did get charged in December. I stopped by again and was told that freeze is expired (no warning was given), and was offered to place freeze again. Asked to cancel membership and was told that current charge will stay and another one for the next month is going to be charged as well because it is gym's cancelation policy. So, for not using gym this year, I get charges 8 times.

Here is gym's e-mail from March: "Regarding your membership, all memberships will be frozen, but we will continue to process monthly membership dues at your current rates and due dates. Information for this action is stated in your membership agreement, under the Membership Freeze Policy section and the Summary of Membership Policies. All time that is accrued during the freeze will be added to the end of your current membership term and you will not be billed for any time that was frozen. For us to survive a closure that may last a month (or more), this step is critical for our business."

It looks like nothing is added, forgiven, or adjusted at all. Gym is nice, but it will take your money no matter what. Extra month of charges after cancelation was the cherry on the top. I decided to get Peloton membership - for $12.99 per month, I get the same cycling, yoga, HIT, stretch, and other video classes at the comfort of my home.

Anytime Fitness is a great place to work out. I was 40lbs overweight and diabetic. Thanks to Natalie, Cecil and Dana, I have 100 percent recovered through diet, nutrition, exercise (and determination) and no longer take the multiple, harmful medications that I was forced to take before! Seemed a tad ridiculous since that’s two whole days during the week they weren’t available at all. Also, no one ever called me when I put my info in on the website. Then my work schedule changed, and I scheduled an appointment and showed up, no one was there, called again and the guy on the phone acted shocked and said no one would be on site for six more hours so he wasn’t sure why I was scheduled. Pretty ridiculous, definitely going to go somewhere else with better staff. ✌️

I like the rogue sled and the 120lb dumbells. I go out of my way to come. They also have a decline chest machine I van actually feel in the lower pec area. The shoulder lateral raise is just lagniappe for me as I have been working on sore shoulders alot lately. Some other features are an airdyne bike 2 squat racks and a crossfit style rig, so plenty of places to squat. They have extra olympuc bars and a ttap bar complete with 100lb plates if youre up to that. They have an RTD putchase ipad that has an almost compleye list of pre post workout supps if you wanted. Had to give 5 stars

I honestly really do like this gym. I like that its open 24/7 and there is usually little to no crowds if you go earlier in the morning or later at night. The only thing that I wish was different was the contract length... you are either in it for a year or a year and a half. If the contract could be renewed on a month to month basis, that would be much better. Yeah, you can put your membership on hold for a few months... but that doesn't solve the problem if you suffer a permanent loss of income. My fault for signing the contract.. I just wish they were more flexible with their term options :( ... perhaps a 3 month or 6 month? Stupid 18 year old high school me for signing my contract for a year and a half, had I only known how stuff would change. You can get out of it you move somewhere else, but you have to be more than 25 miles away from the nearest location, I believe... which seems a little over the top. But otherwise.. this honestly is a super nice gym and all the staff are very friendly and encouraging :)

I absolutely LOVE this gym! I go to college in another state, and they have been so accommodating for my situation. They let my membership stay active even though I'm only in the area during the summer, and they even let me pay for just a few days over my breaks. Other gyms I've used before will charge a ridiculously high flat rate for all breaks, and I didn't like that because I only come home for some of my breaks. The staff is so nice and helpful, and the gym itself is always clean and organized. I seriously never want to use another gym! Thanks Stafford Anytime - you guys rock!!!

This is the best place ever to workout. Amber was embracing as well as encouraging upon my return to working out. In a new looking shop building complex. They are the only one leasing space so parking is plentiful. 5-6 treadmills, a couple bikes and ellipticals, and a stair climber all near the front windows. The middle has all the machines and the back features two barbell racks and dumbbells from 5-120 lbs. There is a studio room and 3 private bathrooms, two of which feature handicap accessible showers.

This Anytime Fitness is the best one in the area. The facility is always clean, well lit, and all the machines work properly. The music is always great, unlike the ATF on rt 3, where the manager for some reason always plays terrible rap music. I always feel safe here, no matter if it's a 9 am or 9 pm. Great gym with a lot of motivated people. The trainers are friendly but not pushy the machines are always clean (and brand new). I like that everyone comes to get their lift done without standing around or clogging things up. The bathrooms and showers are great (and also very clean) with shampoo and body wash provided. I feel comfortable asking anyone to spot me. Also, I see the same people in there at the same time. It's nice to give a head nod to someone you've seen for weeks busting their butts. It's an around great staff and gym. Highly recommend it. And it's open 24/7 although on google it says it's closed on Sunday's, it's not.
