I absolutely love Appalachian Athletics. I’ve been to many different gyms around the area and further and this has been the best one. I have gained so many new skills here and my confidence has gotten better, as well as my mental block. I love my cheer team and the environment. highly recommend

We have been so pleased with our experience with Appalachian Athletics. We have seen our daughter’s skills and confidence both soar through the program. In addition to her cheer team which she loves, they have so many classes tailored to help her and the other athletes focus on improving specific skills.

Communication from the coaches have been wonderful and they are always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we have had. They promote positive attitudes and encouragement between teammates and are quick to address any negative interactions. It truly feels like our daughter is part of a family here.

We have been with Appalachian Athletics since July and could not be happier. My daughter's skill set & confidence have grown tremendously. My girls ages 5 and 11 have never cheered before but decided to try out for the ‘24-‘25 season. The coaches at AA are kind and patient, but can be firm when needed - something both of my daughters need at times. They have both learned so many new skills and life lessons in the short time they have been on their teams. The positive impact these ladies have had on my girls is unmatched! I recommend checking them out for one of their classes!

I love the coaching style! At first we enrolled my daughter here so she could learn new skills to make her middle school team, however, now we may never leave! The environment really does scream family, and the way the coaches believe in and push their athletes to do their best is so refreshing.

We’ve been going to Appalachian Athletics since they opened. The coaches are amazing and we only have good things to say about them. The gym has grown tremendously since opening; you would never guess that it’s only been several months. The space is open and clean and they’re upgrading and adding to it all the time.
My babe is on the littlest team and she enjoys it immensely. She loves going to practice and loves her coaches even more. Before starting cheer, she did three years of gymnastics. She’s learned more in the eightish months at Appalachian than three years in gymnastics. Her skills have grown exponentially with the help and dedication of her coaches. When she succeeds, the coaches are just as excited as she is. With positive reinforcement and a disciplined routine, the athletics always seem at ease in their environment when they’re at the gym. Knowing that their coaches are there to help and support them shows in the attitudes around the gym. You can tell the athletes love the coaches.
It’s truly one big happy family and we love it! We’ll continue to support Appalachian Athletics and brag about their greatness to everyone!
