ASC is a community that will help you reach your athletic goals and challenge you no matter what level you’re at. Workouts scale from first-timers to D1 collegiate athletes, and everyone will get out of it what they put into it. If you join for a workout, you’ll be challenged but supported and will see why everyone keeps coming back day in and day out. It’s hard to name just one aspect of ASC that I like the most. The workouts are great. I always leave feeling like I’ve given it my all. I love the variety of the workouts, how they work the entire body, and the pacing is great too. In the short time I’ve been with ASC I’ve already measured progress in my speed and strength. Most of all, I love the community aspect. With team drills, relays, and everyone cheering each other on - you can’t find this anywhere else.

I couldn’t recommend these classes more. By far my favorite fitness class I have ever done. It's a great work out and being outside is so wonderful. Having dedicated hours outside is really nice, especially if you spend all day working inside and during the winter with less outside/fresh air time.

I played sports all growing up and basketball through college, I was really missing the camaraderie (and structure) of working out with a group. Pete has done a great job building a community and everyone is really great and supportive. He also offers a variety of modifications for all fitness levels.

Lastly, I am a firm believer if you don’t use it you lose it and between jumps, sprints, agility, strength and variety across the classes, Pete ensure you are “using” all of it. Which is great for things that are hard to push yourself to do on your own like sprints, bleachers etc.

If you’re looking for one of the best group workout classes out there, look no further than Arlington Sports Conditioning, aka Pete’s class. Every week, he meticulously designs a brand-new routine that targets different muscle groups at a fast pace, ensuring you get both cardio and strength training in one challenging session. One of the things I love most is that you can push yourself to the limit if you want to really amp up the intensity, or easily modify the exercises if you have any injuries.

Pete’s commitment to safety is outstanding—he makes sure everyone does a proper warm-up and pays close attention to posture throughout the workout, helping each participant avoid injury. He’s also incredibly dedicated: he never cancels his class, no matter what, which really shows his passion and reliability. On top of all that, the people in the class are so welcoming and friendly that there’s zero intimidation factor. You still get a total bad-ass workout, but with an atmosphere that’s supportive, encouraging, and fun. It’s truly one of my favorite places to break a sweat!

Pete does a great job at mixing up the exercises, changing the routine, and offering a ton of options for folks of all abilities. The works outs are super fun and engaging -- I really appreciate the structure and camaraderie - it helps me stay on track and motivated. More than that it get results! For example: I had to lift my dog the other day and could - which honestly felt amazing!
Plus he throws in various socials / fun runs and the Friendsgiving was low key amazing - a lot of great cooks in the group.

I started attending ASC workouts in July 2024, and have seen measurable results in both strength and speed since joining. The workouts are a good conditioning complement to my other athletic pursuits (soccer) and help support my goals outside of ASC. The workouts are tailored for varying levels of fitness, but allow you to individually challenge yourself to align what you would like to get out of the workouts. The workouts are well curated with good variety in exercises, and it's clear that Pete knows how to balance the workouts to help you progress at a good pace. Since joining ASC, I have regained conditioning and endurance that I haven't seen in years, and have even improved previous personal bests in several running distances. Pete is happy to answer questions and provide guidance as well, and has even provided nutritional advice that I have found helpful. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with the choice I made to become a member of Arlington Sports Conditioning. Peter is the motivator, mentor, and coach I had always been looking for. There's a lot I love! The big things for me: 1.) Difficulty of the workout. I like to be challenged and the workouts are definitely challenging! 2.) Deep bag of moves. I have taken this sports conditioning class in the past (years ago) and it was a wonderful experience. Pete does an amazing job bringing you a high intensity, sports focused workout. I definitely increased my VO2 max after doing all the burpees and sprints he mixes into the workout. Pete ran incredible free workouts every Saturday in Arlington for many years. I loved going as it was always fun, challenging and different. He has a great energy and structure to his classes that keeps engaged but you know also gives you results. Loved the warming up and all the drills. I really would feel like a badass everytime I would leave that class. Routines vary every time, and he challenges you to achieve your health goals. Endurance, resistance and high intensity intervals are part of his routines. I've been regularly attending Pete's ASC workouts for years. The effectiveness of the workouts and the awesome community he's built keep me coming back, and I'm so happy he's expanded over the past year to offer more classes and varieties of workouts.

His Strength-based classes are efficient, effective, and challenging in the best way. The track workouts (ASC "Fast") are so fun and I always end up pushing myself harder than I would be able to if I were running by myself - a testament to the camaraderie of the members attending class. I ran my first marathon last year and incorporated the weekly ASC Fast workout into my training plan - the workouts definitely helped me with speed/pace and were a great compliment to my longer runs in my training plan.

The most enjoyable part: all workouts are outside! Arlington is saturated with so many different group workout options; I think what Pete offers at ASC is unique already, but offering classes outdoors sets ASC apart from the other fitness options in the area.

If you've never been, I highly recommend trying out a class. I guarantee you'll enjoy it!

Despite not typically enjoying cardio, I found this class to be incredibly engaging and enjoyable. Pete was motivating, and the exercise sets were challenging yet rewarding. This is an all out full body athletic workout with sprints and suicides and strength training. Don’t be deterred for a second by joining if you’re just beginning your fitness journey or are getting back into it. One of the best things is that there’s absolutely no judgement in how fast, how hard, or how often you work out. You truly go at your own pace, and if you need to sit out a set, or three, do it. No one cares. We care that you showed up and made an effort. Second, while there are indoor options during the week, my favorites are the outdoor workouts. To me, it’s more motivating to be outside, rain, snow, sleet, or shine. Pete puts us through our paces devising a tough program each class. You get a great full body workout. Box jumps, burpees, bleachers, sprints, push-ups, wall-sits, and more. I’m always thankful to start my weekend off with an energizing Saturday morning workout. And Pete walks the walk…he legitimately prioritizes his own health in all ways, and that inspires the rest of us. He’s a great motivator, makes the classes engaging and fun, and he’s a really good person. Lastly, the camaraderie of the group makes it special and unique. Pete leads the classes as a true fitness expert, paying close attention to your form during an exercise to avoid injury and give you plenty of options to tailor your workout to the intensity level that you're looking for. I joined ASC in 2023 as I was looking for a good strength focus work-out since all I was doing was running. I went to his indoor and outdoor class and I saw how serious he was about a good 10-minute warm-up, then the workout, and a 10-minute cool down. In my running clubs, I get my cardio in. With his workouts, I get everything from agility, speed, strength, functional workouts, etc. I always leave his class feeling challenged but accomplished. Pete is professional and also very approachable. He connects with everyone in his classes by being encouraging, checking on your form, pushing you but also providing alternatives when necessary. The best group exercise I've ever experienced. Some members of ASC even venture to classes from outside of Arlington because you won't be able to replicate the workout you get here on your own or at whatever the latest trendy group workout is at the time. ASC is simple and that's why it's so effective. No rower, treadmill, heart rate monitor, colorful analytic dashboard, or other type of machine. It's just you, some weights, your resolve, and supportive competitiveness. If you are looking to change your workout, get in shape, or improve your overall fitness, give ASC a shot. Commit to a month and bring a friend if you need that extra motivation. You will be happy that you did.

Arlington Sports Conditioning is such a great workout community.

Pete runs the best workout program that I have been to. He properly warms ups, works all of body, and gives a variety of moves to consider all strengths and skills. Workouts are never the same and a good variety keeps the time flying by and me coming back.

The community is also great and makes me look forward to the workouts and the people that attend.

Long time Arlington resident, member of many gyms, this is the best workout experience so far. Can't think of too many fitness programs that take the class outside, for most of the year, which I love. Lubber Run is really the perfect outdoor spot in the warm months, and I like the indoor professional training studio ASC uses in the winter. Pete runs the show, and his workouts are creative and challenging, involving weights, core exercises and his weekly track workouts for the added cardio. As a bonus, they are focused on team building and interaction with the other members, so I've made friends in his classes. The positive peer pressure of exercising in a community gives it a different level of enjoyment and it naturally makes you workout harder. And because it is a bootcamp, participants tailor the workouts to their abilities, so anyone could take part. Totally recommend.
