About the Club

Bodies by Bonnie Pilates and Personal Training Studio was established in 2000 by Bonnie Bowers in Fairfax, Virginia, serving the Northern Virginia suburbs of Fairfax, Centreville, Vienna, Oakton and Reston. We offer a personalized program tailored to your specific needs including Pilates Equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, as well as, magic circles and other small equipment.

Bonnie’s approach to Pilates is that it is more than an exercise class; Pilates is an education that continues for a lifetime. It is to be taught and absorbed by her clients so that students use it in all parts of life from playing sports to lifting a grandchild.

This peaceful studio provides the perfect environment for focused Pilates. My instructor is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and supportive. Each session I have is a little different because she takes into account how I am feeling that day to guide the exact structure of the workout. I am building strength, improving flexibility, and gaining connection to my body. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived!

I've enjoyed my Pilates lessons at Bodies by Bonnie, and Rebecca has been a great instructor. I knew next to nothing about Pilates other than it could help someone with chronic back issues. Rebecca helped me to slowly and patiently build my strength and confidence using Pilates exercises. I'm doing a lot better now than I was when I started. I think the attention to breath and form that Pilates requires will help with all my physical activities in the future.

This was my first time ever trying pilates in my life and I have no regrets! This studio is very clean and private! I had a back injury last year from a 20ft balcony resulting in compression fractures in my lower spine and I was recommended to look into pilates to aid in my recovery process. Between chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, and self-exercise, pilates has by far been the most helpful practice in regaining my strength, flexibility, and balance. Rebecca is such a great and patient instructor! She listens to your concerns and is always making sure that your form and breathing is correct. She has a really good eye for catching even the slightest changes in posture and form, which is super helpful! Bonnie is also a pleasure to chat with before and after class! The environment here is very welcoming, respectful and fun! I highly recommend this studio, not only if you have had aninjury and looking to recover, but to also build and maintain your health!

This is my best experience ever. Bonnie paid attention to my problem areas. Dove deep in to my forms to make sure that I use the correct muscles with proper posture.

I joined Bodies By Bonnie in the midst of COVID-19, so my biggest concern was safety and sanitation in addition to workout itself. The studio is very clean and Bonnie (the owner) and other instructors comply with the CDC guidelines. (Currently, masks are required.)

Like most other Pilates studios, Bonnie offers a private session (full hourly rates) as well as a duet/pair session (reduced rates; either take with a friend or paired up with another student by the studio).

A class is about 50 minutes long and usually I am taught by the same instructor but I get a different instructor occasionally. So far, all the instructors who taught me were very knowledgeable and nice!

The workout has been customized to my body’s needs, and my back and hips (which are stiff due to my desk-bound job) feel better. I learned some at-home stretch workouts to correct my postures, too.

Unlike many larger studios and franchises, Bonnie offers a flexible payment plan. It is widely known that pilates is not a cheap workout but it may be possible to finally afford the very effective workout at Bodies by Bonnie.

Bonnie and Jenny are great. They provide a private, personalized plan and Pilates is great strength conditioning. Absolutely would recommend both the staff & studio as well as starting (or continuing) practicing pilates

Beautiful studio and I love how there’s a one-on-one session with the instructors so they make a customized plan for my body and goals. Bonnie and Jennie are excellent teachers and very knowledgeable in what they do. I had issues with intermittent lower back pain, and just by coming here for a few weeks the pain had diminished substantially. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been doing pilates with Bonnie for a couple years now. Every session I’ve had with her has helped to alleviate the neck, shoulder, and mid-back tension I walked in with and left me with an increased sense of energy. I love how Bonnie is very detail oriented in her teaching but still manages to give me a well-paced, thorough workout. Her great sense of humor really makes the hour whip by! The beautiful studio and view of nature are an added plus.

Bonnie will make a perfect fit personal plan and deals for you, I will just start my second session.
Jenny is my instructor, the best Jenny ever, always teach and talk like girls night talk, sweet and Chill.
The first class will be the private section only for you, and they will get to know your body problem and the potential goal that you want to achieve.
I immediately feel my body muscles get stronger and the neck pain back pain released after the first class. Pilates not only make my heart relax, but mostly reshape my body. Much more efficient than a Yoga class
I will continue work with Jenny and Bonnie.
