British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside Gold's Gym, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Our main goal was water safety and learning skills to help our daughter know what to do incase of an emergency. The wonderful teachers and staff were patient and kind and helped coach her to try and do her best! We feel confident in her ability to swim now, and she loves the water!

My family cannot say enough good things about the British Swim School program. In the space of 4 months, our 7 year old went from being a kid who would most certainly have drowned had he fallen into a pool with no adults around (a parent’s worst nightmare), to a confident swimmer who now loves the water. This peace of mind is priceless. The program focuses on building confidence and reinforcing survival skills in a totally age-appropriate way. I highly recommend this program and only wish we had started him even younger!

The instructors are excellent. They thoroughly explain what they are going to do, how they are going to do it and then demonstrate with a doll. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the instructors and highly recommend the school to anyone looking. Our granddaughter is only 2 1/2, so that is the level of instruction I am familar. Also, the office personnel are very helpful and courteous.

The staff is very professional, courteous and very communicative, Even before start they call you to answer all your questions and welcome you. We have been so impressed with British swim school. First off the staff are wonderful. From the moment you walk through the door they are so helpful and welcoming. When In the pool, the instructors do a great job of gauging what each individual student needs. They also strike the balance of keeping them comfortable while also encouraging them to try new things each week. Our daughter has gotten so much more confident in only 3 weeks!! She is 13 months and in the youngest class. They keep it so exciting & fun to keep her engaged with nursery rhymes, games and toys. I also love that for the first few levels I am able to be in the water with her. I know in some swim schools parents aren’t allowed, but this is so nice to be able to reassure her until she knows the staff and instructors better. Also from the support side- they have an app that is super easy to use to schedule absences, manage payments, read rules etc. Cant say enough about this new program and I’m so thankful to have it in our area!!

Our daughter loves coming to swim lessons each week. Mr. Cullen is fun, engaging, patient and full of humor. She's making progress each lesson and we can't wait to see what she does next. All the staff members are warm and welcoming. Our daughter especially looks forward to end of class playtime and loves going to the treasure box after class. The facility at Brandon Oaks is top notch. There are showers and changing spaces along with a very nicely heated pool and pool deck.
