Burn Boot Camp in Atlee, VA features a constantly-changing mix of cardio, HIIT, and strength training so you never get the same workout twice. Our Members enjoy access to unlimited 45-minute workouts produced by top Trainers, designed to engage your full body and deliver complete body change. Each workout takes place on our signature Floating Floor that helps produce results for every fitness level. As a gym designed for busy lifestyles, we offer free Childwatch at every location, personal meetings with trainers, and a universal membership that allows our Members to visit any gym without drop-in fees. Update: I have now been going to Burn Atlee for about 2.5 years now and it has changed my life. I’ve made some amazing friends here and am in the best shape of my life. The trainers are all INCREDIBLE and so friendly/welcoming. I wake up every morning excited to work out with my friends. The owners recently expanded the gym so there is way more room and equipment to accommodate the growth they have seen with the gym. The growth is a testament to the amazing job they have done transforming the gym since taking it over. Highly, highly recommend!!

I love everything about Burn Boot Camp Atlee! From the trainers to the amazing community to the workouts, I just can’t get enough! The new owners have done an amazing job transforming the gym and they are the sweetest people! I was initially intimidated by the cost, but as soon as I joined I realized it was worth every penny and more. All it takes is to get one foot in the door. I joined Burn Boot Camp Atlee at the recommendation of a friend (shout out Joan S!) and I have been coming weekly since June. I cannot believe how quickly the trainers learned my name and how much I would enjoy the high fives. One of my absolute favorite places! I started coming to Burn Atlee postpartum with my first, continued through my second pregnancy, and now I’m back at it postpartum. I love it! I have not been so "addicted" to a new workout since I started doing yoga 15 years ago! I started at burn 9 days ago have completed 5 camps, and can already see the definition changing in my muscles! The playlists are FIRE! The community is so welcoming and real! I joined Burn in February of 2024 and it was the best decision! I was at another gym for a year working out by myself and doing classes. Burn is DIFFERENT!! Everyone is so welcoming, the trainers give you encouragement and are always positive--giving you the confidence and extra push you need sometimes! I have gotten stronger, built muscle, and found my after work stress relief! Focus meetings with the trainers help you one on one with anything from form perfection to nutrition! I started Burn on a free trial. The workouts were hard and really challenged me. What surprised me the most was the friendships I found and the supportive community of women. We are a group ranging in ages and backgrounds, but there is always a high five or a yell across the room to keep me going. I have come to love my 6:30 crew!

It’s been over two years of membership now. The previous review still holds strong and the Burn community has grown. There are some new faces and some faces I see daily for camp. I’ve never felt stronger physically or emotionally. I proudly say,”I’m a Burn girl!”

I was very skeptical about joining a place like this. I hadn’t faithfully worked out in a long time. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted at the front desk and introduced to both owners. During one of the hardest workouts I have ever done (cause I was terribly out of shape) I was encouraged and cheered on. I meet some new people and saw some friends I didn’t know went there. 9 months later going strong and I love it and am just as motivated, if not more so. The trainers know you by name and encourage and push you, even when think you can’t do it and then celebrate with you in your accomplishments. This is an amazing place!

I was in a huge workout slump before finally caving and trying Burn Atlee. I had been working out in a regular gym for years, but became very unmotivated on my own, and was frankly getting bored of the same routines. In May of 2024 I finally decided to give Burn a go. I have not looked back since starting and I am about to hit 50 camps. I can’t say enough about the trainers here at Atlee Burn. They will push you, and encourage you when you need it the most, making sure you get the most out of every workout. I am now very motivated and look forward to each and every camp I attend. There are so many other perks to Burn as well— one on one focus meetings, amazing supplements (love the chocolate whey protein), and just an all around amazing community. So, if you’ve been on the fence and need that extra push, take it from me and just go for it! My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner.

I’m on my third week of Burn and really enjoying being a part of something to push me to get back in shape! I know from experience with orangetheory in the past that I do well in group settings because I have to commit to showing up. As a mom of a 2 1/2 y.o. and a 6m old, I will say I am out of shape and these workouts are tough! But I know if I stick with it, I’ll get continually stronger and back to the level of fitness I’m used to. It’s also nice to have a variety of weighted workouts and body weight conditioning and knowing ahead of time when arm day or leg day are.
When it comes to staff, Becca and Anna have been fantastic! Truly genuine and kind people. They’re a big part of the reason why I like this location and drive 20 minutes to it. I also love how big the gym is! It’s clean and well taken care of. Others I’ve encountered at workouts have been welcoming and everyone is there to get the job done. I don’t feel any judgement or clique-y vibes which has always been a turn off for me.
I also knew I’d need childcare wherever I decided to join and I have had a positive experience with my baby in the childcare room so far! :) Seriously such a great feature for parents. THANK YOU BBC!

Moving to the Atlee area from Richmond city, I thought I would never find a gym that I could be part of. Fortunately a friend recommended Burn and I signed up for a free 7 day trial. That first workout challenged me in the best way and I have continued to go back for more. The camp formats are different everyday so you don’t get bored, there’s strength and cardio, and bonus points for a great music selection. I am 2 weeks in and feeling great.

I wanted to try this place out for a month to see how I like it before signing up for anything long term. My intention from the start was only one month (and I made that very clear to the front office staff who did not mention anything about having to provide a cancellation form) Since I only had about a minute to sign my paperwork before the workout started (whole thing was super rushed so obviously didn't have time to read every word in the long contract). I even confirmed that I filled out the end date correctly and informed the front desk person I only wanted 1 month (She mentioned nothing about a cancellation form if I want to cancel so natually I assumed all was good and that would need to sign a new contract if I wanted to continue the membership). The workouts are ok, very effective but all the stations are super chaotic and fast paced. The instructors are all super nice and motivating but other than it was not for me. The crowd seemed super cliquey and workout focus seems to be more on lifting heavier weights than having proper form. I ended up having knee issues towards the end so decided not to continue. Come to find out I got charged the following month and had to argue back and forth with someone about a refund. Had the worst time trying to get someone to respond to me. It was like pulling teeth. Instead of just issuing me a refund for a simple mistake and for a service that was not even provided for the following month at all, they were refusing to refund me so I had to take it up with my credit card company instead. And now I just noticed that my card got charged AGAIN for another month after I have clearly stated many times last month that I was canceling and even filled out the form they wanted me to. Super frustrating!

I did a trial at burn with a friend. After the first week, I was feeling better mentally and physically. I joined and it was the best decision.
