Burn Boot Camp in Charlottesville features a constantly-changing mix of cardio, HIIT, and strength training so you never get the same workout twice. Our Members enjoy access to unlimited 45-minute workouts produced by top Trainers, designed to engage your full body and deliver complete body change. Each workout takes place on our signature Floating Floor that helps produce results for every fitness level. As a gym designed for busy lifestyles, we offer free Childwatch at every location, personal meetings with trainers, and a universal membership that allows our Members to visit any gym without drop-in fees. I love that I can walk in and everything is already planned for me. In just 45 minutes, I get an amazing workout with trainers who are truly motivating. I truly can't say enough good things about Burn Boot Camp Charlottesville! I've been a member since 2019, and over the past six years I've witnessed this gym become a place of overwhelming positivity, community, support, motivation, and inclusivity.
Carly’s expertise as head trainer is unmatched—she brings energy, experience, and hands-down the best coaching demeanor I’ve ever had in a fitness space. Her support trainers embrace the Burn Boot Camp coaching style and treat each camp as an opportunity to better every single person who walks through the gym doors.
The operations manager, Jerri, is one of the warmest human beings you’ll ever meet. She adds so much to the community through her leadership and outreach events. As members, we’re always being challenged (in the best way) and celebrated.
On a personal note, I don’t know how I would have made it through a recent back injury and subsequent surgery without the Burn Boot Camp Charlottesville community behind me. From the concerned messages and care packages to the encouragement and high-fives I received when I was finally cleared to return, the community was there for me every step of the way.I also can’t give enough praise to the trainers who’ve taken the time to listen and help me through my recovery with modifications in nearly every station of every camp for months. They helped me recognize when I began to regain strength and mobility—and reminded me that I was strong and capable of achieving goals I never imagined (like my 24-inch box jump PR today!!!).

I LOVEEE Burn Charlottesville! I was stuck in a fitness plateau and feeling completely unmotivated — until I tried Burn. The workouts were exactly what I needed — a perfect mix of strength & conditioning/cardio and never the same as the last! I LOVE Burn Charlottesville and cannot recommend it enough!

I moved to CVille last October without knowing a single soul and immediately started looking for a new space to workout. I began trying some of the gyms around and Burn was one of them! I vividly remember walking in for my first camp and immediately being acknowledged and welcomed into the space (shout out Carly and Jerri!)

The workouts are unique and challenging with a great mix of strength and cardio. This combined with encouragement from the trainers, staff, and members make camp a fun place to be while being surrounded by an uplifting, empowering community!

Burn has become a huge part of my life and through it I’ve gained confidence, met many amazing people, and made some of my closest friends!

I joined Burn a year ago after failing at many gyms. This is the only gym I have attended for this long and actually enjoyed it. They treat you like family and truly care. I love that you are always doing different exercises. For the first time in my life I can do a push up on my toes...next goal pull up and they can help me get there. Would highly recommend.

I first tried Burn Bootcamp on a trial basis and ended up committing to a membership. I enjoy the variety as each workout is different and rotates between strength and cardio days. The trainers do a great job of helping you identify what motivates you and then hold you accountable. I think it’s important that while you may end up losing weight, that isn’t the focus. Instead, the focus is on increasing strength and confidence.

I also want to mention that they have done a great job during the pandemic. They have increased cleaning protocols as well as offering virtual class options. The trainers also solicit feedback regularly to see what else they can do to improve the experience.

I’ve been going to camps for 8 weeks now with my husband and we both absolutely love it. All of the trainers are a bit different but equally as engaging, fun and motivating. The work outs are never boring and are constantly changing which keeps things interesting. There are so many things I watch them do and think “omg I can’t do that!” but somehow, with their assistance, I either find the strength to do it or find a modification that is still difficult for me. I’ve never pushed myself as hard as I do in these classes and that brings me a lot of joy and pride. It’s a great community of members and instructors! My two kids enjoy the childcare as well.

Where do I start.. Burn is fantastic! I came on a friends recommendation to one of their free Saturday camps. Yes FREE camps every Saturday! No other gym offers such a consistent no cost workout. So I think I speak for myself and the other burn members when I say it’s addictive, the good addiction. :). So here’s the run down, 45 minute group exercise that changes daily. You don’t get bored, you never know what to expect (except for a exceptional workout). The trainers are amazing and offer support throughout the sessions and offer weekly focus meetings (also free) to help with your progress. I can’t get enough this place. I highly recommend them. Burn Boot Camp provides a fun and friendly atmosphere to help improve your physical fitness as well as provide healthy alternatives to eating (and yummy!!). I originally tried Burn Boot Camp a month after it arrived in the area, October 2019, so I've been obsessed with returning ever since. I recently signed up for their new member 4 week Ignite Your Life and I have no regrets. The music is up beat and the workout is always different, yet challenging. I love that its full body - you're able to get in your cardio and weight training all in one - as I've always been the one in the gym weight training or taking a conditioning class at the gym which is now made so much easier. The trainers are all super friendly, helpful, and encourage you (in a non-pushy manner) to push to your max. Burn Boot Camp is the ultimate package for a gym!

When I first heard about this place I was intimidated by the name "burn bootcamp". I went in for the two-week trial and absolutely loved it. The coaches are very supportive. If you don't have the stamina to do some of the workout moves the coaches show you different methods for your fitness level. I personally love how none of the workouts are the same. The coaches and the rest of the group do not judge and they're supportive of each other. The added bonus is there is free childcare during your workouts!

After injuring my back a couple of years ago, it’s been a struggle to try and maintain what took me YEARS to achieve. I appreciate and credit the trainers at Burn Boot Camp for having MY BACK, quite literally. After many years of improper form (which is taking time to unlearn), they keep me in check and the results are certainly visible!

I joined Burn Cville two months ago and I honestly love it. The workouts are challenging—-you can make change them to make them harder or less intense depending on where you’re at. The trainers help you with your form and really challenge you to do your best. I love the community and have made great friends as well.

Burn has been the shove I’ve been needing for the past two years! I was doing beachbody products like 21day fix and 80 day obsessed, and while those are great workouts I let myself slack off bc I was at home. Burn boot camp has given me my motivation back! I love the camaraderie in the group and I’m seeing progress within myself SO much faster. On top of all this, getting one on one time with a trainer during the focus meetings is EVERYTHING. They helped me so much with my nutrition and I’ve actually kind of started enjoying logging my food lol. I originally started bc I was sick of not seeing results and knew I needed something more to help me reach my goal for my upcoming wedding but I can honestly say, I’m excited to continue and set new goals after this June! I started Burn as part of a six week trial program and knew by the second class that I was going to join. The trainers are super motivating and encouraging - always going above and beyond to push YOU to what they know YOU are capable of - whether that’s helping mod up or mod down (or loading 25 more pounds on your glute bridge). The staff is always so welcoming and the Burn community is the most positive and empowering group of people.

I freaking love Burn! I’ve been a member since the day they opened their doors and I was hooked right away! The workouts are killer ( in the best way, of course!!) The protocol varies from week to week which keeps things challenging and fun! The camps are so efficient and effective and the transformation wall speaks for itself! The fortune is in the staff though. Each day that I walk in the doors someone is always excited to see me ( which sometimes we all just need that boost!) everyone is so warm, welcoming, supportive, and encouraging... my little one, who typically never wants to leave my side, can not get in the doors fast enough to see his buddies in childcare:)! That’s a serious WIN for me. I appreciate most the uplifting and empowering environment! Charlottesville is so fortunate to have this gym in our community!!!

I signed up for a trial knowing I wasn't going to join and changed my mind almost immediately! The workouts are tough, varied & efficient. The trainers and support staff are all amazing. The thing that sold me the most though is the true community feel. Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. And knowing people there will notice when I am not there has given me the accountability I was missing. The music is great. Love the included childcare. And the focus meetings are like having your own personal trainer, but they are included in your membership! Give it a try and I know you will love it too!

This place is amazing. I have had access to gyms before, and I always made excuses and didn't go. If I did drag myself to the gym, I would do some weightlifting, maybe a bit of cardio, and then leave.

Burn Boot Camp is so much more than a gym. I am now working out M-F and I enjoy my mornings with my Burn sisters. All you have to do is walk in that door and you'll be greeted with smiles and high-fives, and people who truly care about your well-being. The workouts are planned out for you. In the 2 months that I have been working out religiously, there have been no workouts repeated, which is a huge plus for me. The trainers and staff are amazing. The other members are motivating, friendly, and dedicated. The music is on point, and the childcare is included and top-notch. Members can take advantage of weekly Focus meetings where you meet up with your trainer to discuss your goals, obtain measurements, and get tips on nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. I feel like I have a personal trainer, in a group setting that motivates me. It's the best of both worlds.

If you're looking at this review, you must be a little curious about Burn. Just show up, come get your sweat on, and feel good for the rest of the day. No excuses. Trust me, you won't regret it. See you soon!

Burn bootcamp is amazing. I have done many programs with trying to get healthy. This program is the best. It makes me want to keep coming and want to push harder. You don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed when your trying. The encouragement is out of the roof with staff and fellow burn sisters. The childcare is a plus and a one on one with your trainer helps keep you accountable. When I miss a class I feel bad (I never thought I would feel that way about exercising )... Best decision to become apart of Burn!
