Burn Boot Camp in Short Pump, VA features a constantly-changing mix of cardio, HIIT, and strength training so you never get the same workout twice. Our Members enjoy access to unlimited 45-minute workouts produced by top Trainers, designed to engage your full body and deliver complete body change. Each workout takes place on our signature Floating Floor that helps produce results for every fitness level. As a gym designed for busy lifestyles, we offer free Childwatch at every location, personal meetings with trainers, and a universal membership that allows our Members to visit any gym without drop-in fees. Burn Boot Camp has truly changed my life! The trainers are incredible. They’re knowledgeable, supportive, and always pushing me to work harder than I ever would on my own. The community here is unmatched. From the moment I walked back through the doors, I was welcomed with open arms.

I actually tried Burn once before but left after two months because I wasn’t mentally ready and was experiencing health concerns. Coming back was the best decision I could have made, even if it was a very sad and tough time in my life. The trainers answer every question, encourage me every step of the way, and constantly remind me that I’m stronger than I think. When I started, I couldn’t do a single lunge. I even called myself a teapot because I felt like every time I tried a lunge I would tip over and fall. Now I can do weighted lunges and jump lunges. I also went from not being able to do a single push-up to doing full-body and even decline push-ups. I no longer go to the lightest weights. I’ve slowly moved up to heavier weights and feel more empowered.

Not to mention, the littles love it, too! Childwatch is amazing. Childwatch is fantastic, and Kids Camp makes it fun for the whole family.

Burn is truly the best 45 minutes of my day. My weight is down, muscle is up, and I’m stronger than I ever imagined. I cannot recommend it enough!

Burn Short Pump also has awesome extras like a smoothie bar, one-on-one focus meetings with optional InBody scans, and clean-ingredient supplements. Fruit punch Replenish is my favorite. I do miss the 6:30 PM class for days I can’t make it earlier, and it would be amazing if the 12:15 PM class were offered all week instead of just Monday–Wednesday. Please. Please. Please.

I started the Burn Boot Camp trial on July 15th and I have now done about 12 or 13 classes.
I am still working on getting the hang of it but these workouts have been incredible and I am feeling so much stronger.
Most recently completed an athletic conditioning workout and burned so many calories.
This has been the best decision I have made in my postpartum journey.
I have taken classes with most of all of the trainers and they are all great so far.
Kimberly, Nicole, Chris and April are great!
The only thing I would wish for is later Saturday class or one late night evening class a week as I am a working mama.

I started burn at Short Pump when they ran their summer special, 4 weeks for $99.. an absolute steal for everything you get! I love ALL the trainers, they push you to the limit to ensure a great workout, and I love how everyday is a different work, never the same! I also love the child care room, it allows so much more flexibility as a working parent to bring your kid with you to the gym.. I also love that they can watch us work hard, such a great example to set at an early age! The smoothie bar is just an added bonus after a hard workout! There really is something for everyone! Watch out for this predatory company. An exchange student I was hosting signed up for the free trial. We emailed the company to let them know we did not want to continue. They charged us $29.99 twice. I have reached out to give them a chance to correct it and they basically said “tough luck” so wanted to send out a warning.

I love Burn Bootcamp Shortpump. I joined 1.5 years ago. The community is amazing. Everyone cheers each other on during workouts. And it feels like everyone is your friend. The workouts are always different so you don’t get bored. And it’s a good mix of both cardio and strength training. The trainers can help you modify your workout either to make it easier or more challenging. I was able to workout until I was 36 weeks pregnant. The included childcare is great. And the trainers can have focus meetings with you to work on any goal you want. I love this place.

After going to numerous boutique gyms in Short Pump, I found my home away from home at Burn. The trainers are amazing and push you even when they are working with another individual. The community even in the early am (530 am class is hype!) makes you leave wanting more. It’s not just a gym, it’s a community that you join. I rarely utilize kids club as I go early in the morning before anyone is up, but my kids ask to go all the time. There is a sincere disregard for those who are visiting other establiments in the shopping center and daycare area.

Several times I have encountered gym members sprinting out of the doors in front of traffic to perform the running part of their workout. I almost had a person hit the back of my car because they didn't exercise proper caution when exiting the facility.

Last week, during rush hour at the daycare nextdoor, the gym emptied out and members ran both down the sidewalk where parents were trying to get their toddlers to their cars and also closely behind the cars as the parents were trying to leave. This is extremely dangerous and highly inconsiderate!

It is apparent both staff and members could care less about the safety of others or themselves. I personally wouldn't belong to a gym who displays such little concern over the safety of their members.

I have been a member of short pump burn since it opened about 6 years ago! I can’t say enough great things about burn! The work outs are different every day! The trainers still come up with new exercises. The energy and positivity are contagious. It’s one of the best parts of my day. It’s a place for people with all different levels of ability. I have struggled with weight and physical fitness my whole life. From weight watchers to CrossFit to personal trainers and everything in between, I have literally tried it all. I started burn on a promotion and on a whim desperate for a change. From my first burn boot camp to now (over a year later), I’ve lost weight but way more importantly gained strength, confidence in myself and a community that pushes me when I feel like giving up. You can guaranteed Jackie and April will greet you with a smile as soon as you walk thru that door and make sure you’re getting your time and monies worth during those 45 minute workouts. They are always there to answer questions, make sure you are using correct form, ensure they understand your personal goals to make sure you are the best you can be and hold you accountable. I have never been a part of a gym where I felt so much like a part of something bigger and better and my future self has never been more proud of the girl who walked thru those glass doors over a year ago with hopes to be her best self. Overall very disturbed by the actions of the management team of this gym. Head trainers change multiple times a year so it's hard to get consistency, multiple members of there team are openly anti-vax (including childcare team members), owners openly post about wanting to reopen way prior to when CDC would recommend (like mid April making claims to sue Northam?), claims to have high sanitation standards yet MULTIPLE clients have gotten hand foot mouth just from working out on gym floors. When the gym was consistent with trainers, and in its hay day it was amazing. Now has just gotten weirdly political, could not continue to support.

I signed up for the 6 week "commit to fit" at the Woodlake location at the start of the new year. In the first 3 weeks I dropped 11 lbs and 2 inches off my waist! At the end of my second week I knew I was going to join for the long haul! I have since dropped another inch off my waist and am getting into the best shape of my life! The atmosphere is fantastic! Everyone encourages you to push yourself to the limit! I have worked out at multiple gyms around the Richmond Area, and Burn is by far the best! Join! You will not regret it!
PS. I am not the kind of person to write reviews; however, how can I not with a place like this!!!

I love Burn Boot Camp! I’ve been a member in Midlothian for about 8 months and I still get excited every single morning to wake up and go workout! Amazing supportive community of women, plus awesome workouts and trainers! I love the head trainer at Short Pump. He is motivating and really challenges me with new and different exercises. I can’t say enough good things about Burn!!!

I was a serious skeptic of the burn boot camp mentality. I thought that doing a boot camp every day would get old. Well, after going 5 days a week for the past 2 months, I am addicted. Brett, Ben and Jonathan are so energetic, motivational, entertaining and personable that it has become something that I look forward to every day. And I have lost weight and inches. What more can you want from a work out??

Serious workout with amazing inspiring members. This is a true fitness community. The difference is palatable from the moment you walk in the door. The trainers and owner genuinely care about their members and you can feel it. I love BBC and am so grateful it came into my life when it did. This has been like no other program I have ever tried. The support, belief and motivation Brett, Jonathan & Ben give during each workout along with the push from the other ladies we are working out with, is incredible! It is like having a personal trainer in a small group setting and the workout can be modified to your ability. I did not ever think I could or would do something 5 days in a row and look forward to coming back! I feel stronger both mentally and physically . The focus group meeting to identify goals and nutrition is a great stand out feature!
I love the way I am feeling after a month and I look forward to continuing.
