Ryan is my first experience with a trainer and honestly any kind of gym experience. I was instantly at ease and every session is fun and time seems to fly by. He’s always encouraging and supportive and never felt pressured. He takes an incredible amount of time to see where you are physically and mentally/emotionally. It feels more like a whole life training coach than just a fitness coach. The mental health benefits alone are worth the time and effort. If you need someone to help you get started and be accountable to he does these things for me. The space is also beautiful and feels very safe and calm.

Ryan is wonderful. He challenges me, and he puts a lot of thought into my sessions to address my limitations and weaknesses. He changes my sessions up every time, to keep things fresh and to hit every muscle group. When I came in with an injury, he seamlessly adjusted our session on the fly. He's always positive and optimistic, and so great to work with. His credentials and experience are impressive. I'm very grateful that I found him.

We started off with Ryan when we were looking for a trainer who was a good fit for our son who has some special needs. Ryan looked at him as a whole person and treated him with respect while working to meet his fitness goals. The rapport that came from the working relationship led me to become a client as well.
My personal goals of functional fitness as I approach 50 years old are being met because Ryan works with me as a client to identify challenges and rather than sidestep physical issues, we work in a complimentary way to strengthen injuries and work toward maintaining mobility. I consider Ryan a friend but he also is able to maintain a professional approach. I believe this is due to his passion for knowledge, open mind to change things as they evolve and his depth of expertise in physical training. We spend a fair amount of time discussing stress and take a wholistic approach to mind/body /life balance. Ryan has stood by me patiently as I have fought to achieve strength and conditioning goals only to be knocked down by illness time and time again. I am learning that you have to keep moving, even if it means taking a pause, reframing your outlook or starting at square one again. I am also gaining perspective form another point of view about what success is. Left on my own, I would not be aware of the gains I've made and the benefits to my life through working out with Ryan. If you are critical of yourself like I am, it can be easy to fail to see your own progress. I am grateful for the time I get to spend working out and the accountability having a personal trainer brings and I would not want to do it with any other person. Thank you Ryan.

I have been working out at Camp Victory for a year and a half. Ryan listened to my reasons for wanting to work out, get in better shape, feel better, and improve my physical health. And that is what we’ve accomplished! My insulin intake improved from 32 units per night, to 8! I have lost pounds and inches, improved my stamina, balance, and overall health. Ryan is as committed to helping me achieve my goals and continue my journey, as I am. I have found success at Camp Victory, and with Ryan, that I have not come close to finding otherwise.

I’ve been attending Ryan’s Victory Rally fitness classes twice a week for close to a year. I’d done outdoor sports and yoga but never strength and weight training. I’ve never liked going to gyms but I also knew that as a female in her 40’s, strength training is absolutely necessary to counteract and head off the effects of aging. And I’m not going to lie, I also wanted to look great!
My time at Camp Victory has had a really positive impact on all aspects of my life. Mentally I am happier, more confidant and optimistic. All of that time and energy I was spending fretting about how I should be working out is now spent on actually working out and feeling great! Physically I am so much stronger and toned, it has been fun and inspiring to challenge myself and reach milestones. And, I look better in and out of my clothes!
Ryan is friendly, competent, approachable, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. I never felt self conscious, nervous or intimidated when I started. It’s a supportive, positive environment and Ryan patiently answers my MANY questions and often touches base with me about my fitness goals. He provides instant feedback and corrections so that I do not end up injured (I never have!) and get the most out of my workout. He is up to date on research, fitness trends and every part of our workouts are meticulously thought out with an emphasis on warm up and cool down movements and stretching. As a corrective exercise specialist he has worked with me and modified my workouts through the occasional ache or pain that I have showed up with so that I am not sidelined- and those little aches and pains show up less and less. I’ve also been floored watching him work with clients who have chronic physical and health issues. He really meets individuals wherever they are so they can work toward better health. Even my 10 year old child has enjoyed his kids’ class or just watching from the kids' area.
Ryan is an experienced, intelligent, warm and funny person who genuinely cares about individuals and the community. I also feel great supporting a small, local, veteran owned business, and it is very affordable. My family is in health care and we are familiar with what this town has to offer and Camp Victory is truly unique, I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with Ryan, it’s really been life changing!

Wow, where do I start?? Ryan is absolutely fabulous. I started seeing him a year ago. I was overweight and out of shape with knee, shoulder and foot problems. My left side was significantly weaker due to radiation (after breast cancer). I was pretty much a basket case... a year later, different story. I am stronger, especially on my left side (pushed the sled with 340 pounds last week). I have lost 20 pounds (still working on it) and just feel better. Ryan was able to work with me giving me exercises that helped strengthen my left side keeping in mind the problems I had with knees and feet. Today, I have very little to no pain in my knees, shoulders and feet. I love that everything he does is tailored to ME. The second something doesn't feel right, I tell him and he modifies the move. In the last few months I feel myself getting stronger and I am more confident, lifting more weights and not getting as winded doing so!! The stretches and foam rolling have been a godsend!! I see him twice a week with no plans to stop!! I highly recommend Ryan!!

I have had amazing success with the Camp Victory Training Studio, and couldn't recommend it more! Ryan has helped me refine my approach to workouts, nutrition and overall motivation. The result has been some weight loss and a significant tightening of my whole body, to the point that I think it's the best it has ever been. That is saying something.
I joined Camp Victory after being diagnosed with Myotonia Dystrophie. This neurological disorder causes muscle loss along with a myriad of other issues. Like I stated before, I have never been stronger. This is not the only change. I have been known to have bad pasture and overall "funky" back. Ryan has worked with to improve posture and strengthen my muscle to help retain that much improved posture.
I addition, I have gotten my teenage kids involved. They both enjoy the hard work and how Ryan makes it fun. I have seen improvement (more energy, healthier choices) with my kids.

Ryan is such an amazing trainer. He is really awesome about working around injuries and helping you strengthen your weaknesses. He's a super knowledgable guy and is not afraid to say he doesn't know instead of giving you false information. The gym has a very friendly environment that is judgment-free. The classes really give you a great workout.

Ryan at Camp Victory is just awesome to work with. I'm in good overall shape but want to strengthen my core, balance and overall physical strength for hiking and mountain biking. Ryan does a great job of integrating all my goals into each workout and guiding me through stretching for better flexibility. I'm very happy with the personal training I've been receiving from Ryan and every time I leave I know I've made progress. Thanks!

I have been training with Ryan for 4 months. I reached a point in my life after having my second child where I was 55 lb overweight, in constant pain, and depressed. Ryan customized a program for me that kept me coming back for more. Ryan has helped facilitate confidence within myself he is an amazing person truly motivational and he truly cares about the well-being of all of his clients. I happily and with much gratitude report that 99% of my aches and pains are truly gone and I feel happier now than I really ever have and the consistency has paid off. The group classes are wonderful too. I felt self-conscious at first attending a group class however within the first few minutes of my first group class I wasn't self-conscious at all everything was tailored to what I could do, all of the exercises were tailored to what each individual could do it was a really uplifting experience to see so many people working together to better their health. I will continue to train at Camp Victory. Additionally , my daughter has started personal training with Ryan and she is recognizing strengths she never knew she had. Her self-esteem is completely boosted. Her school performance has drastically improved. I highly recommend Camp Victory, I am so very grateful thank you Ryan.

Camp Victory is more than just a great workout. Ryan's focus is on creating a fitness routine that is sustainable (e.g. free of injury). I went into Camp Victory looking for a "functional fitness" type of workout that would support my other active endeavors. Ryan's workouts definitely fit that need. But, unlike some of the other places I visited, Camp Victory is very personalized. Ryan always recommends exercises/stretches/therapies with consideration for my current level of fitness, the activities that I am trying to support, any injury I might be working around, and any physical habits that I am trying to correct/improve.

Ryan at Camp Victory helped me get into amazing shape! I have never been an athlete, but I knew I needed to get active for my health. Ryan was patient and understanding with me, and focused on safety and exercises that would benefit my whole body. I never felt pressured or embarrassed when working out at Camp Victory! And best of all, I saw amazing transformations. I highly recommend Camp Victory.
