Rude front office staff, want to charge parents for 10 mins late. They only do 1 make up class per month, not fair when kid is sick and couldn’t attend for 2 weeks. They charge for no classes during Halloween how fair is that?

Great facilty for both the kid and the youth. Coach or trainers are professional and train junior Olympic contenders. It is not a for-fun gymnastic place but a real physical education (still fun) place. Strongly recommended for kids.

We love Chantilly Gymnastics! My daughter has been attending classes for a couple of years now and all the instructors have been awesome with her. She has also attended the Summer camps and ALWAYS has a blast. It is a wonderful learning environment that is safe and nurturing. Communication is prompt with both the front desk and instructors. I highly recommend not only the gymnastics classes but also the holiday camps and parties. Thank you!

We like the learning environment here. The staff is nice too.
Their 'olympic' event with the kids was the highlight of the year.

The teachers are caring and consistent. The management sends regular communications to keep the parents informed. This is a great place for little gymnasts! Ms.Val is wonderful with the kids!

My son attended preschool at Chantilly Academy for three years. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my active son! The teachers and director - Mrs. Laura were like family. We even had my son enrolled during the challenging years of "Covid" we always felt safe and at ease sending him. They have a huge indoor gym that the kids can play year round. Highly recommend this preschool!

The management is poor and often cares more about the business and Money than the girls and sport. My daughter went to this school for almost 2years in the same level and learned Nothing. She had many teachers during this time and no one cared if she is learning anything. We kept watching spot tv to see if learning any staff but nothing except trampoline and the bare for most of time. We send text messages many times and no response or action.
Iam not recommend this place .

The preschool here is great. It's an excellent half-day program for your money and the staff are very kind. Every interaction with them so far has been great. Bonus: the kids get to do gymnastics while they're in preschool since they have a gym attached.

Ms. Laura who runs the preschool does a great job.

Both of my twins go to Chantilly Academy - my daughter does gymnastics, my son the Ninja classes. As a former gymnast, this is the only place in the area I’d want to bring my daughter because of their many years of experience and knowledge, and even signed up my son for a second Ninja class during the week because he loves it so much!! Highly recommend Chantilly Academy!!

The management is poor and often cares more about the business and money than the girls and sport. My daughter went to this school for 5-6 months and learned nothing. She had many teachers during this time and no one cared if she is learning anything.

I would not recommend this place at all.

Great preschool! Our daughter loves it here. It was her first time to go to school. We were nervous if she wouldn’t like it. But after the first day, she actually wanted to go every day. The director, Miss Laura is great! We were so happy that our daughter went to this preschool.

Both of my girls went to Preschool here... yes they have a preschool. It’s a hidden gem! Ms Laura, the director, was the one who did our tour and we loved it, and her!! We were there for 3.5 years and was sad we had to leave for other reasons. Highly recommend all the loving and caring teachers and staff! They get to do gymnastics everyday too!

My family could not have asked for a better preschool experience than what we found at Chantilly Academy Preschool. I feel incredibly blessed to have found this gem of a school and my two daughters have absolutely loved their time here. Both my children had high stranger anxiety with no experience being watched by another non-family member adult before starting school at 2.5y and I was blown away by how quickly both my girls grew comfortable with being at this school. The teachers and director are truly an extension of our family for my girls and they excitedly look forward to going to school each day. The teachers are nurturing and thoughtful and they help the kids grow their confidence and independence along with their education. They do so much more than what is required of them as teachers, it is obvious they care deeply for each child and want to be there each day with them. They are always happy and silly and kind, and it creates such a warm learning environment for the kids. I am continually made proud by how much my daughters have learned educationally, socially and emotionally. We have loved all our teachers here and the director is incredibly kind and accommodating to the personal needs of the kids and their families. It really feels like a second home.

My older daughter began at the school with a rather severe speech delay and continued to receive speech therapy while attending this school. Her first teacher was so caring and helpful with regards to my daughter navigating the social aspects of school when she struggled to communicate with her peers and other teachers by herself. Her speech blossomed at this school and she placed out of needing speech therapy services before she even ended her preschool career.

She also loves the lunch bunch and enrichment add-on programs. She is a high energy child and I find this school to be unique in that the kids get to burn off energy with the use of a huge gym facility every single day, rain or shine, whether it is 100 or 20 degrees outside. She got to know the kind gymnastics staff through these programs and loved to attend the gymnastics blast camps and classes the gym offered as well. All the instructors would say "hi" to her whenever she attended camp making her feel welcome and secure. I could go on and on (obviously) about how much we love this school, but I do hope my long-winded review is able to help other parents searching for a loving school for their kids.

My daughter had fun coming here, but this is a money-making operation first and foremost. If a kid gets sick, you can't make up a class. My daughter attended class once in two months because of flu season, I didn't want my money back, just wanted to make up the classes, but they would not let me, even though we had been coming there for years (this was the last straw and we left). Some kids are definitely favored more than others - my daughter did really well, but the competitive program was never even mentioned to us. My daughter is now on the competition team in another club.

They have too many students for every teacher. Children most of the time waiting for their turn. They don't work for the result, but to receive maximum income

My 3 year old and 5 year old have had great experiences at this gym, my now 6yr old has decided its not for her, but my 3yr old is still in the Tumbling Tots class and loves it! I feel that they could expand the gym some, its definitely crowded inside during the time many classes are on-going at the same time (Sat. AM!), but unless another biz moves out or they relocate, its not possible!

Coaches are inexperienced and ill trained. Coaches tend to have been gymnasts in college. A college gymnast may not make a good coach. At least not without training. Coaches treat the smaller (cuter) girls in every group as favorites. Going so far as to carry them around during class. As my daughter was a favorite you would think I would accept this - this behavior encourages children to act like babies and to ostracize other gymnasts. Staff has an attitude problem in general. They are not the only horse in town. Owners are interested in making money and not in the well being of athletes. Owners sister is offensive and abrasive toward parents.

Space is too small for the number of students. Further the parking lot is insane - no lighting in the parking lot. Most of the gym is not visible from the lobby. You will have a hard time watching your child participate. The lobby is a cough and cold cess pool during cod season. In our time at this gym I never once saw anyone clean the lobby.

The gym requires the purchase of team leotards and participation in meets - both of which are a waste of money. The gym tells you about the leotards and the additional payment for the meets after you have joined the team.

Team participation requires significant fundraising rather than allowing parents to pay for the activiites and not participate in fundraising activities. This is a waste of time.
