We are a new to cheer family and my girls love CEA Richmond. My youngest started at the age of 4 and she is in her second year of cheer. My oldest is 8 and she joined this year after competitive gymnastics burned her out. She needed the fun and encouraging atmosphere that this gym is providing. The coaches have been great! Very positive and engaging with both of my girls. :-)

From being an athlete with Cheer extreme to now coaching at Cheer extreme I have nothing but positive things to say about this gym. The owner makes every kid that walks in the door feel special and I have loved growing my coaching experience at this gym with the amazing coaching staff. Every season just keeps getting better and better.

Sadly, if your daughter is not in the inner circle of parents and kids then it will be a different experience! I realize a lot of the positive reviews are from that particular group. Very disappointed in our time there. I participated in fundraising and was never credited for what I sold. They had no record of me even selling the boxes of chocolate. Every time I asked a question the ladies working there came off as annoyed and short. I grew up Allstar cheering for 10+ years and very familiar with the cheer world. A cheer gym should feel like family and fun, not gossip and drama. Save yourself time and money and go to fame. And research owners of gyms 😁🤐

I fully believe in Cheer Extreme Richmond. We will be starting our 5th season this year and still don't want to go anywhere else. My daughter has started right in the heart of COVID and oh what a ride that was. As stressful as that was that year Lindsay and Ashley made me SO very welcome to start a second year. And as they say that was that. We have grown as a family with this gym and have welcomed all new people. Level mini-100.
On another note, this past year we started private lessons in martial arts with 1 of the instructors Aleric Harris. He is a 4th degree chief instructor and is AMAZING with kids.
To say I feel welcome at the gym is an understatement. I truly have felt the professionalism and welcome at this wonderful gym.

Where do I even begin with this amazing place. My daughter started cheer as a way to keep her mind busy after loosing her father in Jan 2023, we started off just doing unlimited tumble. She then wanted to try out for a team. So we did and she made a team! 1 season down and my daughter has gained confidence, family, skills and friends. The relationships that grow here are so amazing, the coaches care about each athlete they have. They girls all come together as one and grow with each other. The team moms are so helpful and sweet, always there to answer any question you have! Mrs. Kelly well that women is a saint. She is the sweetest, most loving, caring, generous woman I’ve ever met. She treats my family as her own and loves every single athlete that is a part of her gym. If you are looking for a place to call home CEA RVA is where you want to be! Teal is a beautiful color come join the teal with us!

THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND EVERYTIME YOU ASK THEM ABOUT WHERE THE PRACTICE WEAR IS AT OR THE UNIFORMS THEY GIVE YOU THE SAME REPLY "THEY HAVENT CAME IN YET" THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY UNORGANIZED YOU FIND OUT STUFF THE DAY OF WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD TO YOU IN ADVANCE. Cheer Extreme Richmond Virginia has amazing coaches and very approachable management. The owner Kelly is super sweet and always has a smile. I have had the opportunity to talk with at least 4 or 5 of the coaches and they have been knowledgeable about the sport, my daughter's progression and skill level. The coaches encouraged all of the athletes equally; wether you are a level 1 learning a back walkover or cartwheel or a level 3-4 learning tucks. Even though I didn't speak to anyone about the upper levels I did see them coach the upper level athletes and it seemed like the coaches had the same enthusiasm and support for those athletes as they did for the younger athletes. If you have a child that wants to cheer in the Richmond or Dinwiddie Virginia areas I highly recommend Cheer Extreme.
