This studio runs a dehumidifier next to exercising clients during class, which is a BIG no-no and VERY unhealthy. In addition, the studio has failed to turn on the oscillating fans in most of the classes I’ve attended. Other franchises run their oscillating fans on high during class to keep air flow and reduce the spread of viruses. One instructor openly calls out individuals, scolding them, instead of addressing form or understanding that modifications can be made. The classes could certainly be more difficult. I hope that the GM will address these issues!

I started club Pilates in June of this year with an unlimited membership. I’ve been attending about 4 times a week, and for the first time in my adult life I feel good. I had never been able to reach my goals with any other workout, and I’ve tried a few! I lost 2 pant sizes and 20 lbs so far. My body feels strong and healthy, and I still look forward to my classes. I take classes with Angela, Morgan, and Amadea the most, and I love them!

Absolutely LOVE this place! I’ve always struggled with finding a workout that I loved and after my first class, I’ve been hooked. Everyone there is amazing, the vibes are so good, and I love going!

I love Pilates, but this studio just wasn’t it for me. Before I even took a class, they were calling and texting me every single day which felt really pushy. After finally going in for a class, I mentioned that I preferred to pay per class due to my schedule, and the friendly attitude disappeared. I couldn’t even grab water after class without being approached about buying a package. It felt more like dealing with a sales team than joining a fitness community. Other studios I’ve tried were way more welcoming and low pressure.

Please look closely at the class schedule before you sign up for a membership. Classes for after-5PM classes fill up weeks in advance and they do not offer many weekend nor midday/lunch hour classes. Joining the waitlist uses a class credit which makes no sense. If your schedule is a traditional work schedule, and you can't predict your plans weeks in advance, you may struggle to find available classes as I have. They have acknowledged to their members that they offer too few classes right now but their contract is strict regardless. I struggled to use 4 class credits my first month and had to ask for a one-day extension to use my class credit at an odd hour. If you refer a friend I found out they will call, text, and email every single day which is embarrassing as a referrer.

People are paying a lot of money for memberships, and I have not been impressed with the customer service the Carytown location has provided so far. That can definitely change, but am hoping they improve this as they get fully started.

Love it ! Was doing simple Pilates at home with a board when the carytown location opened. My husband signed me up for a free class and I’ve been loving it since. The entire staff is super supportive and sweet. The classes are small and intimate with a clean environment. Parking isn’t bad so far either!

I can’t say enough positive things about Alisha, the manager at Club Pilates Carytown. She is professional, knowledgeable, and truly goes above and beyond to make members and staff feel supported and welcomed.

Whether it's helping new clients get started or supporting staff behind the scenes, Alisha brings such strong work ethic in all she does.

Club Pilates claims their classes are for all fitness levels, but they’re really just for complete beginners. I was told to put back the weights I chose and scolded for doing a more advanced version of an exercise — not supportive at all if you’re looking for a challenge.

I voiced several times after class that the workouts weren’t challenging, and the only feedback I got was that my form needed correcting — yet no instructor ever offered real form corrections during class.

When I brought this up to the manager, Alisha, she was dismissive and kept talking about her own CrossFit background, which had nothing to do with my concerns. I ended up wasting over $300 on what felt like glorified stretching.

If you’re looking for real workouts, places like Solidcore or CycleBar are far better options.

I was hooked after the intro class. Friendly & educated staff that make sure you have proper form. Classes will challenge you regardless of fitness level. Try it out, you won’t regret it!
