Not enough variety in classes during the day. Scheduled always reformer flow, balance, control. There is never any Cardio Sculpt for daytime hours, only occasionally for evening. It’s ridiculous that not even ONE class per week is scheduled cardio sculpt for daytime hours.

Additionally some equipment needs replacing from damage, and they will charge an exorbitant amount per month when you cannot even get into any classes.

This is the WORST location.

Frustrated. Joined unlimited membership to return to pilates regularly this week.

This location appears to be fighting for qualified instructors. Classes are scheduled and bookable with “TBD”. You’re in the class and booked to receive notice that it is cancelled. All the other classes are waitlisted 4+ so chances of getting in dwindle to those classes.

If you try to even attempt a weekend class, you need to book out at least a month in advance at this point, considering one Saturday there are only two classes available.

They offer the option to go to Bristow since the franchisee owns both studios. It’s highly inconvenient and out of the way, if I wanted that option I’d have gone there to begin with.

The studio is dark, and there is limited selection of product for purchase compared to previous studio.

Do not recommend joining this studio as they already have plenty to attend.

Maybe the franchisee could step in and teach the class, huh? Oh wait, they’re booked at their other studio.

Additionally, there isn’t a partition like other studios to drown out conversations staff is having with members or potential members. It is distracting when trying to enjoy a class and listen to a talented instructor guide you through the process. The background chatter is obnoxious and has occurred on other occasions. I literally got up and left a class that I was looking forward to due to the incessant noise competing with Lisa who is amazing.

Club Pilates is my home away from home. I love this place so much. I signed up for the unlimited membership in June and I’ve already done 90 classes. I love the instructors and the front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. As someone who’s had chronic back pain from an accident for years, I tend to hurt myself while working out but since I’ve started my Pilates journey, I feel so much better and I’m slowly getting stronger. I can’t wait to see how I feel as I continue this journey.

I was excited to try Pilates for the first time. When I saw the trial class, I signed up. I participated in the call to see how it works. It is pricy and for the price I have expectations too. As many texts and emails they send, they could not respond to a specific location request. The shopping center they are in is busy and depending on directions it is easy to get lost if you enter on a different side. Also it seems the classes start exactly on time so there is that if you consider a rigid schedule a benefit. I know club pilates is a franchise so maybe I'll give a different location my business.

Club Pilates Lake Ridge got me ready for my European vacation! I needed to work on strength, balance, endurance and mobility. The classes I took before my departure gave me just that! I have been on a health journey to include those things and weight loss too. Pilates helped me with all those things. My body is becoming more toned and sculpted too! Stacy has been my go-to instructor and she has been kind, and patient when correcting my stance or posture. Although all the instructors are great! I have never been motivated to exercise, but I found my way here at Club Pilates. I look forward to the classes and being able to focus on me for that time. I actually miss it when I am not able to go regularly!

I am extreamly disappointed and upset today because I went to class today for classes I booked weeks in advance to be told I no longer have the credits . Imagine waking up to be at a 6 am class and being told you are no longer in it .

It is impossible to get ahold of staff at CP Lake Ridge . They will calm and call to make sure your payment is ontime but when you actually call for help it’s almost impossible to get ahold of someone during business hours!

Adding insult to injury i have been a member since May . I signed up for the 8 classes package and out of the 2 months I have had the package I have only been able
To take 3 classes with 1 of those classes being the free intro class. As soon as you get access to the app with your credits damn near all the classes are already booked up! Being a new member you are only able to take certain classes but none are available . Adding another layer of frustration what ever credits you don’t use you loose .

CP Lake Ridge , just how am I suppose to use the class points if THERE ARE NO CLASSES AVAILABLE TO TAKE . Almost every class is waitlisted . YOU ALL NEED MORE TEACHERs . Now I am out two mi the worth of membership and no classes to show of no fault of my own . I need a full refund . Not credits refund . I work hard to pay for this package and to not be able to use it is egregious .

YOU ALL NEEEEED :
-more teachers
-better front desk staff ( that actually answer the phone during business hours )
-better policies for cases in which no classes are available . From the reviews I am not the only one that has had these complaints .

Please fix it cause I really wanted this to be a good experience so bad !

I joined the Lakeridge Club Pilates January 2024 and recently terminated my unlimited contract. The majority of my experience was positive except for the communication difficulties. During what normally is considered business hours it was difficult to speak with staff, any staff! Many times the call back occurred several days later.

In March of this year my regular 7 AM class was suspended due to the impact of instructors returning to full time office based government jobs. I understood the impact to classes, but the lack of communication regarding steps being taken to remedy the situation was non-existent. I asked multiple times for an update and never received a concrete response. For me the 7 AM class was the best time possible with my busy work schedule. The consistent 7 AM class was one of the reasons I moved to an unlimited membership.

I also had difficulty knowing who to speak with regarding my concerns and found myself speaking to any front desk person who would listen. In speaking with these folks I was always passed onto “my manager” who never called me back directly.

My last in person discussion was a result of being denied entry to class June 14th because of being 5 minutes late. I was told an email went out with the new policy; I don’t recall seeing it but could’ve missed it. At that time I requested to not be charged a no show fee and was told, “I will talk with my manager and get back to you.” After my previous interactions I had no faith that this would happen. At the time I had to ask the name of the front desk person, Sky, since she didn’t offer her name or role. I demanded she call her manager, which she did. Keep in mind she never gave me the manager’s name. I spoke to the manager and again had to ask for her name and tittle. Nix gave me her name initially but again not her role. I pointed this out to her and she said, “I don’t like fancy tittle’s etc…” I shared my experience with lack of names and tittle’s used in communications and felt this made it difficult to get answers and accountability. After much discussion she understood and said, “I’ll remember this for my own personal growth.” I asked her to waive the no show fee for that day, Saturday and also the next day since I would not be returning. I also asked her to see if my final payment due to come out on Jun 21st could also be waived or adjusted. Nix’s responded, “I’ll speak with my manager/owner Jenna and will call you back.” That was two weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing.

If you have read everything to this point here’s my final comments. I believe the club is fine for the limited membership options (4 or 8 classes per month) but they struggle with customer service, communication and meeting expectations under the unlimited contract. As a business woman, who understands, customer service can make or break a business. Lakeridge CP fails to deliver. If there was another convenient option I believe they would lose more membership.

Club Pilates in Lake Ridge is great facility. Very and helpful staff. I’ve taken classes with at least 4 different instructors and all have been welcoming, professional and knowledgeable in their craft. As a fitness professional myself, I feel the instructors are attentive and provide great direction for all fitness levels.

I have been attending Club Pilates in Lake Ridge classes since November of 2022. When I started, I had several health problems, most of which are in the past now. I would say that movement is the cure for almost everything, but it is better when you have a group of professionals who guide, motivate, and support you every step. Club Pilates has done that for me. They are professional, kind, and attend to the smallest detail. The studio is beautiful, the equipment is in perfect condition, and the staff is very supportive. My body has changed for the better, and I feel great every day.

Club Pilates Lake Ridge has become my home away from home! All the instructors are wonderful at what they do! I love that it’s beginner friendly as someone with no prior Pilates foundations I was nervous to try the classes. Until I did my first class all the nerves went away! The instructor was kind, patient and the ladies I was working out with were all encouraging! I look forward to my Pilates workout now. It’s the best investment I have done for myself in terms of my physical health. No regrets!! Thank you Club Pilates for being good to me!!

horrible staff and horrible customer service. The woman with curly messy hair was very rude to me and my husband I went in to get some information and I noticed the door was locked so I tried to read the sign to see what are their normal hours or how can I get an appointment and mistakenly my ring hit the door since I was focused reading the sign, she came outside like she was already mad and was very rude telling me why did I knock when I clearly told her that oh I apologize i was reading the sign and it was by mistake she kept saying no don’t and I avoid any argument tried to explain and continued to ask her about their normal hours to get an appointment she handed me a flyer and very very rudely said come back in an hour and shut the door on my face like in begging ? I’m definitely going to complain about their services to prince william county, Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). This is our community and you need to be nice to people if you can’t be you don’t belong to this community. Please avoid going to this place better try the lorton location or just go to orange theory right next to them. Be nice so people can be nice to you as well.

A one star review is rare but incredibly needed at this location (4140 Merchant Plaza, Woodbridge). I’ve only been with this location for a few weeks and I can see that I’ll need to cancel membership as soon as I can. The way CP works is you can have a 4 class pass, 8 class pass or Unlimited class pass. I had a 8 class pass. This Woodbridge location teachers are ALWAYS CALLING OUT. I don’t live close to studio (about 40 minutes away)—if I pay you upwards of $200 for 8 classes I expect you to have a comprehensive substitute system available so clients are not constantly let down OR to properly recompense you clients. I’ve had four classes be cancelled with no sub. The only thing they offer is a credit returned to you (not added) and MAYBE a $15 credit added to the account. A $15 credit does NOT cover one class. A $25 credit should be given. So disappointing. I’ve used CP in other parts of Virginia for years and have never had such a trash experience. Save your money and DO NOT NOT NOT come here.

Disappointing Experience and Unprofessional Staff

I had a very frustrating experience with this Club Pilates location. I prepaid for a package of private sessions, but the trainer repeatedly canceled or postponed our appointments, claiming limited availability. Despite my patience, she never followed up to reschedule, and I was left waiting without any clarity.

I’ve made multiple attempts to contact the studio—calling several times, leaving voicemails, and sending emails—but I’ve received no response. My requests for a refund have been completely ignored, even though I never used the session I paid for.

The lack of professionalism and customer service is extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location to others.

Instructors are wonderful but front desk customer service is horrible. They are not accommodating at all with change of schedule and very quick to take your credit if you are on a 4/8 pack membership. I finally cancelled my membership and I’m relived. I am extremely disappointed with the way this studio is being managed. I up until today was a loyal client. I enjoyed their classes, however today they switched their policy literally overnight, did not notify members and then declined access to classes. This studio like many others have a 5 minute late policy signed by members. Last night they supposedly changed it to no longer allow a 5 minute grace period. They did not notify members via email or any other method.
I showed up for an 8am class at 8:02am. I was denied entry. Another member also arrived and they were denied entry. We both were told the policy changed last night. I checked with other members I know and they did not receive any emails updating them of this new policy.
It is poor management to change a policy overnight and not notify members.
I’ve written to their management team who could not be reached this morning. I am hoping this won’t be my last taste/ review of this place. I’ll update/delete once or if this is properly addressed. 9/27/24

I have been coming to this location since they opened 2 years ago and it has significantly improved my ballet technique.

Their policies are clearly communicated to you when signing up and consistently throughout the year. I have the 8-class monthly package and usually book all my classes for the month on the first day it renews. I have never had a problem getting into a class that I was waitlisted for prior. As a studio with 12 reformers, this booking practice is necessary. The app makes it especially easy to join and drop classes. I also make sure to add the classes to my personal calendar even if I’m waitlisted.

Some of the best instructors I’ve met are here. I especially greatly value Lisa, a former ballerina herself. She demonstrates great expertise in human movement and instructs her classes accordingly. I gain better understanding of my body after her classes thanks to her detailed instruction.

This studio demonstrates great customer service, cleanliness, professionalism, consistency and is exceptionally organized. I am thankful to be able to practice Pilates in such an environment and see its tremendous impact in my life.

Edit : so now the employees do not have the ability to send me the cancellation form. Only the assistant office manager who is out of the office. If I want to cancel the membership, I should be able to click that button in the app to cancel it. But once you press that button a little note pops up giving the email and phone number to cancel. But when you try to cancel that way they claim they’re waiting on the manager to send a form. Why do the employees not have the ability to send me the form. But per them, our phone conversation was my 30 day notice cancellation. But yet.. it isn’t cancelled. Sneaky sneaky sneaky.

I really hate that I even have to give one star to this place, but here it goes. I also have to tell people that I recommended to come here to run far away. I’m really disgusted at how they are so manipulative with their words when signing people up for the memberships. The woman who signed me up was Skylar. If a person signed up a month ago, how in the world are they able to give a 30 day notice to cancel for the month that automatically is stolen from your account? I was under the impression that I was paying the down payment cost for the unlimited membership for 3 months. Not each month they’ll take out that amount. Poor explanations. I feel like they are sneaky with their words and sneaky with their policies. So I suggest any future prospects stay far, far away. I have to now go through my bank to get this disputed before they input my card info again. And my bank told me they input my card in. It isn’t even auto recurring like they say. That is also very sneaky and just another form of manipulation. Obviously I will not be returning.

You have the opportunity to experience this pilates studio by attending a free introductory session. You are required to wear grippy socks during the class. This facility is clean and located in a shopping center with parking. There are cubbies where you can put your belongings. I took several classes over the winter season with knowledgeable, helpful, and skilled instructors that you reserve ahead via app. Membership packages options are 4, 8 and unlimited classes per month. You are encouraged to bring water with you on the floor. Wipes are provided to wipe the reformer and equipment used at the end of class. It was notable that you may not be able to get someone by phone to make class changes and it was unforgettable that Jenna asked me on numerous occasions, “What’s my name?” :/

Money grab. First off let me say it’s incredibly difficult to get into a class because they fill up fast. But my real issue is that I have had vertigo for about 3 and a half weeks now . I was unable to use any of my credits for the last month because I am sick . It states on their website that you must come in to cancel the membership. I came once I was feeling good enough to get out of the house and they were closed. I messaged the number on the door telling them my situation and I was sent a form stating that I had to give 30 days notice before canceling. I think there should at-least be a way to cancel online in case someone is unable to come in. I asked if I could freeze the account instead and no one responded lol. Yea I won’t be back, you all clearly don’t actually care about your customers. Upon further research I found there is a way to freeze the account four you have to give 30days notice for that as well. How can someone predict 30days in advance that they will be sick. If you know anything about vertigo then you know it causes dizziness and vomiting. I even have offered to bring doctors notes and there was no response. Did the price you pay here I would expect a more personable experience. Atleast respectful communication. I feel disgusted with how they are treating the situation. It’s bad enough I don’t feel well.

Overpriced, impossible to cancel, not great classes.

Some of the other reviews put it perfectly. This place is predatory in their billing with tons of hidden fees. Do not sign up after the intro class! They are impossible to contact if you are trying to cancel your account. The pilates is mediocre at best, and the manager WILL ghost you or be a nightmare if you try to cancel.

I have been a Pilates fan my whole life and was very excited to try Club Pilates. I was majorly disappointed by the cost of a membership vs the quality of the workouts I did there. The intro class feels like a timeshare presentation where you are heavily encouraged to sign up, and the pricing is exhorbitant with lots of hidden fees. The membership is also nearly impossible to cancel, and the stdio ignores all attempts to contact them about cancellation.

I would compare Club Pilates to McDonalds. If you want a "burger" that is mass produced and focused on profit, this is your place. If you want a quality "burger", I would recommend finding a local Pilates studio for a much better experience.

Do NOT waste your money here. The workouts are subpar, the cost is exhorbitant, and the communication is severely lacking. This place is all about profit and stonewalls anyone who has a negative experience.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Pilates Club Lake Ridge location and HANNAH. I signed up for a 3-month membership but only attended 2 classes due to personal reasons. When I initially joined, I was assured that my membership would terminate after the 3-month period without any issues. However, when the time came, I was shocked to find out that they have a strict policy requiring cancellation requests 30 days prior to renewal.

The staff, particularly Hannah, the so-called manager, was incredibly unhelpful and rigid. When I politely explained my situation and requested not to be charged for another term since I hadn't used any of their services, she simply parroted their policy without any empathy or attempt to understand my circumstances. As a fellow business owner, I understand the importance of policies, but I also know that good customer service involves flexibility and understanding.

What's more frustrating is their selective communication. They were quick to mention every detail about payments and policies when it came to collecting money but conveniently left out crucial information about cancellation terms during the signup process. It felt like they deliberately obfuscated these details to trap unsuspecting customers like me.

Overall, my experience with was nothing short of horrible. They prioritize their policies over customer satisfaction and fail to accommodate reasonable requests. I strongly advise anyone considering joining this club to beware of their inflexible policies and lack of customer-centric approach. There are plenty of other fitness clubs out there that value their members and provide transparent and fair terms of service.

I signed up for classes not knowing that I had a medical issue that would keep me from using them. I have payed over $400 and only been to one class and keep getting charged even though I have a medical freeze. Club Pilates Lake Ridge is not just a Pilates studio is a lot more than that. It’s a place where new friendships are forged and memories are made. Regardless of the early morning classes the ladies are always fun to be around.
I joined over a year ago and I am so impressed at level of professionalism displayed by the instructors. They are always so pleasant and work hard to ensure we get the max out of the session.
Anne is one extraordinary instructor. She is patient, understanding, and always pushes us to challenge ourselves. And most of all she is a wonderful human.
Nicole is another wonderful instructor. She ensures to always incorporate new moves and keep class fun in the early mornings.
There are several other instructors who are also great and keep the studio bustling.
The front desk staff is also amazing. Very friendly and always ready to help.
I look forward to each and every class, be 6am or 7:30pm.

I wouldn't recommend this studio. I've been coming to club Pilates for two months now and have been disappointed. They recently opened two months ago, and only have had beginners classes initially. They just started getting level 1.5, which many still felt like a level 1. There's clearly a discrepancy of levels depending on the teacher but the most challenging and accurate of a 1.5 so far has been Anne. If they had told me there would only be very beginner classes for three months after opening, I would have never signed up. Total waste of money for someone who’s been doing Pilates for years.

When I've complained, I was told that I'm supposed to tell the teachers I want to level up, which I have, for them to talk to me as though I don't know what I'm talking about. I've been doing solidcore and other Pilates studios in the area and have enjoyed those a lot more. With the classes I do at club Pilates, it feels like a warm up/stretch the entire time.

Secondly, all of their 1.5 level classes are always booked up and you have to be waitlisted for, never knowing what class you'll actually get into which is frustrating as a very busy person. I have been unknowingly added into multiple classes in a day that I had been waitlisted for, only to lose credits. I even got booked for a 6:30 am class the night before at 12:30 am, totally ridiculous. I tried talking to the front desk person, who was busy on the phone and sought out for help on the app, which you can't even locate an email to contact. The app is actually really annoying to navigate around my opinion. I finally had the time to email someone today and they basically told me I can cancel and I should have reached out to someone sooner... like I didn't try to! Not really offering any sort of class compensation for the ones I lost.

So no, would not recommend coming here because I think the customer service is not great and there are more welcoming friendlier studios in the area like bikram hot yoga that actually is a local business, more of family vibes, and a mix of great classes to include Pilates. Club Pilates is for beginners that are starting Pilates from ground zero, and that have more time during the day to attend classes. Anything not during work hours will be difficult to get into, always booked up.

Complete waste of time. As an experienced Pilates student they still have you take a very beginner level class for your trial, but when I got there I was told “had we known we would have had you try a different class” (clearly there was no communication) and then they sell a pretty monthly package without mentioning the fine line details of the fact they they only take 3 month contracts at a time. During the initial conversation for the class trial I had mentioned I wanted to enroll for the 8 class option listed on their website but nobody had mentioned the 3 month contract.

The instructor and exercise regime wasn’t bad for beginners but hopefully they improve their methods!

Had They told me this when i first told them my situation of wanting to register for a month/8 classes that was listed on their website, I wouldn’t have bothered with a trial. Really disappointed. It was like I was just there being sold all their pretty packages without any consideration to what I was looking for as a customer.

I am not experienced but the instructors are wonderful, very kind, cordial, helpful and totally enjoyable. I love the motivation and encouragement to get the most out of every class! This studio is absolutely amazing ! I am restarting my fitness journey after my first baby and all I can say is wow ! Jenna , the manager is phenomenal in answering all of your questions and really making you feel a part of the family ! I had never taken Pilates classes before so I was intimidated but it’s been 8 classes and I can already tell a difference in strength and tone . They also have a super accommodating schedule and wonderful instructors !!

I really love this place. The instructors are very knowledgeable and take care of you even if you were a beginner. I suggest the unlimited package for starters. It’s a fun place to be and you’re also working on your health and fitness.
