SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would - please do yourself a favor and look at the yelp reviews and other websites. I am appalled by the fact that Gold's is allowing this organization to use their gyms. There are many cases where people were deceived and lied to over and over and taken for thousands / hundreds of dollars, myself being one of them. This is one of the worst predatory engagements of fraud I have ever experienced.
I was told that I was only signing up for a month of training after making it very clear I only wanted to try it out for this period of time. They do not explain to you whatsoever that it is a subscription service, nor do they explain any part of what you are signing. I stopped my auto - renewal services in September, before my full month of training was over to ensure I would not be charged any more because I was told by the person that signed me up that after the month ends, just let them know I want to end my auto renewal. It is now November, and I am continuing to be charged by Compel Fitness. I would have never agreed to a year subscription of training-
I have tried to speak with management multiple times at the gym but no managerial Compel representatives are ever there, and are incredibly hard to reach, even by staff. I know many other gym members and Golds Gym Staff that are frustrated with the Compel Fitness at Willow Lawn.
I have now been scammed out of about $500, and who knows how much more.
However, my trainer, Charmoni, was awesome and it seems that most of the other trainers are as well!

Yes. The coaches at Willow Lawn Golds Gym have been great. Coach Jaylen pushes me to do more than I thought I could but also listens to my concerns and questions. All the coaches I have interacted with have been professional and caring.

My experience was broadly negative, the staff were unclear and withdrew a significant amount in excess of 500$ for something that was supposed to be 120$ and pay as you go. This cause significant amounts of financial hardship. They could have been far more transparent about potential upfront costs. Canceling service was also challenging but was accomplished. Credit where credit is due though, staff seem to know what they are doing and do work with clients to achieve goals. However my experience was exceptionally negative.

If you want to get in shape and don’t know where to start or just need someone to keep you accountable I reccomend checking out the Compel fitness group at Willow Lawn. The group classes are a great cardio workout with functional strength training. They provide dietary guidance as well. Last, if you want to take it a step further the personal training sessions can be a great fit if you are looking for a more taylored 1-on-1 experience.

Compel Fitness is an excellent resource for anybody going to a gym they provide services in. In this instance, Golds Gym! I met with Danny for a job interview. The interview went well, but that's not why I'm leaving the review. Every person is different when it comes to physical traits and work out goals. Compel has GOT YOU COVERED! Whatever it is that you desire, they will help you achieve your goals and have ways to keep you motivated and accountable. Those 2 words are absolutely key to making a physical change, as it turns into a lifestyle change. They help you with your eating habits, as in what and when you should be eating healthily. They will also put you through a, basically where you're at test, so they know how to help you achieve your goals. This is vital, especially if you are going to a gym frequently and not getting the desired results. They will help you achieve those goals. The best way I can put it is if your starting location is the gym, and your goals are your destination, Compel Fitness is your GPS! They know where the fastest routes are, the speed traps, the construction zones, and all achievements are based upon what you put into doing what they advise you. This is the first time I've signed up for any personal training, so I was nervous at first, but the trainers have been more than welcoming and very knowledgable about their craft! I have learned a lot even after the first two sessions, so needless to say I am excited to continue this process and work towards the goals we have set out for me. The combination of movement and nutrition is another plus, they will guide you on how to fuel your body properly as well. They are
flexible with scheduling & when you're with a trainer they are super encouraging! If you are a beginner or experienced athlete looking for a coach/extra push, I would recommend investing some time into yourself by utilizing a trainer!

Just started, but I'm v impressed so far. The staff inspire confidence bc they are clearly experts. I was treated to a thorough discussion on goals and simple fitness assessment, followed by some careful work around some leg/hip tightness. Looking forward to the balance of the program.

Liz has been a great trainer ever since we started she has always taken great care of us working out. Making exercise fun and working with whatever medical issues we may have and accommodating to it. If for whatever reason she is not there she will accommodate us with one of her coworkers who also help us so much. We have already lost inches on different parts of our body and are very happy.
