I've been going to CRF for the past year and a half and it has brought so much balance, strength, and confidence to my life. I was going to CRF almost a year before I got pregnant and it has made such a difference in my pregnancy for the past nine months. It's been fun modifying exercises with the coaches as the months have moved a long, still providing me the opportunity to still have a healthy, fit routine that's right for "the two of us." The community is amazing and it's more than a gym. It's a lifestyle.

I LOVE this gym. I have been going to Counter Response for a year and I have seen great changes in my body. Not only have I dropped 2 sizes, I am much stronger than I was a year ago. Tim and the coaches are fantastic. I recently had a health issue and needed to modify my workout. Tim spent 45 minutes with me, one on one and taught me how to modify the exercises. This allowed me to continue working out while still following the doctor's orders. When I am having difficulty getting a move down, the coaches are there helping me get the correct form down. My favorite part of each workout is the bag work. The bag work has helped me get stronger and more confident about self-defense. Counter Response is different from the other gyms in town, please check us out for a week for free!

This place is awesome! I love that modifications are encouraged here, especially if they know you are working through some injury. The workouts are fun in thier own twisted way and I always feel good when I leave AND I am not in pain for 3-5 days after like I am after typical crossfit workouts. The self defense moves are drilled into you so much that I now watch action movies and think through what combo they did. There is also an extra bit of confidence when you know that not only can you lift heavy things but you feel secure in how to protect yourself. (which usually means you never have to because when you walk around with confidence like that you won't be as likely a target)

Man this place kicks some serious butt! I had never done a "Crossfit" type workout before so I was definitely intimidated the first time I showed up for class. Tim and the other instructors (and your fellow classmates) go above and beyond to help you with the moves and get you comfortable with the workout. The hand to hand combat moves really up the intensity of these workouts while giving me some practical knowledge of self defense. I've only been to 3 classes and I am hooked!

CRT has been a welcoming, boundary pushing, and addicting gym community. The instructors are patient, focus on education and form, and push you to give 110%. Regardless of fitness level, there is a place for you at CRT. I've been attending classes for only two weeks, but I wake up every day excited to go again.
Love this community! Love the kick ass workouts!

I didn't stick with a gym until I found CRT. They provide way more value than it cost, everything and everyone is exceptional.

Awesome staff and THE place to go if you are looking to shed some unwanted weight while gaining muscle strength (& confidence). They even teach you how to defend yourself for real world situations. I'm a first degree black belt in AFK (karate) and there is no doubt I've learned how to hone my skills to better defend myself thanks to Tim & his team. Have even learned a few new 'tricks'. Strongly recommend CRT even if you don't have any martial arts experience.
