I've been training with Diana for 5 years now. She does a free consulation to start, to learn your goals, exercise history, any injuries/limitations, as well as doing some physical assessments.
She's very versatile in exercise knowledge. When I'm injured, we do more physical therapy and fix my issues. When I'm nice and healthy, we do more dynamic and sports style exercises. She always knows how to adjust the exercise so I can still get the proper workout and not risk aggregating my current injury.
We've gone through and fixed my knees, hips, back and shoulders.
She is also regularly training and exploring the latest and most effecient exercise/techniques that are coming out in the modern fitness industry. So we have a wild variety of options when trying to fix my joints and muscles.
She is also building a team at her gym of great trainers so there are options for everyone.
Definitely give her a try.

Diana has done amazing things for me. For 8+ years I had been fighting what perimenopause was doing to me. I tried many approaches to weight loss and was frustrated and disappointed while my weight continued to increase.
With the amazing Neil training me on weights and Diana making adjustments to my diet by increasing protein and calories, I have finally been able to decrease the number on the scale while also increasing muscle mass.
I recommend her to any woman coping with diminishing hormones. She has the right approach.

As a D1 cross country and track athlete, I came to Diana thinking I was going to need surgery for a sports hernia. I had been in pain for a while and was completely sidelined from running, not even sure if I’d be able to return to the sport. After working with her for about a year, I avoided surgery entirely and am now running better than ever, completely pain-free.
Diana is incredibly knowledgeable and truly goes above and beyond. She answered all my questions, took the time to understand my specific situation, and made sure I had the best, most effective recovery plan possible. Her sessions were always challenging, focused, and exactly what I needed, not just to recover from my injury, but to rebuild strength and improve as an athlete. Her personalized training plan allowed me to go from barely managing 5 miles a week to consistently running 85 miles a week without pain.
If you’re an athlete dealing with an injury or just looking to perform at your highest level, I couldn’t recommend Diana more. I’ve worked with many professionals in this field throughout the years, and I can confidently say that she is by far the best.

I started working with Diana about 4 months ago, when I started I had herniated discs in my back and my day to day pain level between 1-10 was a 7 or 8. After working with her my pain on a daily basis might be a 1. I’ve worked with several trainers in the past none of which were ever as observant or engaged as she is. She’s constantly paying attention to you through every exercise and offering corrections when they’re needed. I recently had to get surgery on my quad and she has been better than any PT clinic I’ve tried and I went to 3. I highly recommend her whether you’re just trying to get stronger or in better shape or if you’re rehabbing from and injury or surgery. Hands down the best in northern VA.

I'm a triathlete who was pointed in Diana's direction when I decided to race my first tri. Since then, I achieved personal best in marathon, completed full ironman distance triathlon and qualified to race in IronMan 70.3 World Championships. Diana has been there for me every step of the way - not only giving me workouts, but also helping me target specific weaknesses, deal with injuries (which I'm prone to) and helped me better understand proper race nutrition. I started working with Diana a couple of years ago with the goal of lifting heavy, without pain, and I’ve been able to achieve that. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and has always been able to quickly identify the source of any discomfort and provide immediate relief. Diana is very attentive to detail, Neil is my trainer and he is the best. Neil is very enthusiastic and fun to work with. I'm thankful for all the experience he has and i am learning so much from him.
I've noticed a huge difference in how i feel, my mobility and my strength.
Neil, also trains my 16 yo daughter who has hypermobility. She usually twists an ankle, or knee or pops a hip every couple of months....but since we started with Niel in early Feb she hasn't had any body issues. She is getting stronger and more confident and looks forward to her early morning workouts with Neil .

I am in in my late 60s and am feeling tighter all over! I am getting stronger and feel like i have better balance. Jamie is a fantastic trainer!! He is incredibly patient, kind, uplifting and friendly.
I really like to walk but was forced to take breaks from it because of an awful pain that had started in my hip about 3 years ago.
I did physical therapy and stretches and nothing helped.
I have been working out with Jamie for almost 3 full months, 2 days a week (30 min workouts)....and my hip pain was completely eliminated by the end of our 1st month together!! I can now go walking and have zero discomfort! And the pain still remains gone. I hands down recommend Diana and her team! Itsbeen a life changer!!

90% of my pain is gone!! I started with Ben Feb 2025, I workout with him 2 times a week for 30 minutes.
Before I found Diana’s fitness Lab I got into a head on collision in Feb 2022. Did months of chiropractic, followed by months of physical therapist, dry needling, cryo, HBOT….
Nothing returned me to feeling how I did before the accident. I was still in a lot of pain. Oct 2023 I signed up at club Pilates for a year (recommended by a physical therapist). Worked out at club Pilates 2-5 times per week. At first the pain slowly stopped, but the pain came back and I started to get injured during the Pilates class. After a year there I did not renew once my membership was up in oct 2024. I felt lost, didn’t know what to do.
Jan 2025 my husband told me about a place he heard of through a masseuse….Diana’s fitness lab.
Talked to Diana on the phone, she is so knowledgeable, encouraging and helpful! I really liked how our conversation went and set a date to start.
Ben is an amazing trainer!! After 5 weeks I was feeling better than I had felt in 3 years!! He has helped me to feel stronger, have 90% less pain, and have more confidence. I recommend Ben and all of Diana’s team!
And I know I will be 100% pain free with Ben and Diana’s help! I am so hopeful for the first time in a long while!!

I’ve been training with Neil at Diana’s Fitness Lab for a year, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. When I started, I was recovering from an MS attack that left me with coordination issues and muscle atrophy. Neil approached my situation with incredible care and expertise.
He has not only kept me motivated but also helped me work through injuries without needing to take breaks from training. He is always able to adapt workouts to my needs while still challenging me. Strength training has made a huge difference in my recovery and training with Neil has made that easy and enjoyable.

I ruptured my Achilles playing basketball early Jan 2024. It has been a long road to recovery because post surgery I had 2 separate instances of staph infections. 6 months later, my wound finally healed and I was ready for rehab and start physical training to rebuild strength in my leg.
I was introduced to Diana, and I knew right off the bat (before we had even started training together) she was someone I needed to work with. During the evaluation session, she pin pointed root causes of all my aches and pains, and also explained how the Achilles injury happened and how it can be prevented. This really impressed me because prior to meeting her, no doctor or even google search gave me a clear cut answer. We discussed my goals and what I wanted to achieve during my sessions with her. Obviously my main goal was healing my Achilles and getting it stronger, however I also wanted to become a power lifter. I really enjoy lifting and because of my Achilles, I’ve only been doing upper body workouts. I really wanted to start lifting heavy again in my lower body.
In less than 8 weeks, training twice a week with Diana, I am proud to say that I’m officially in the 1000lb club (squat: 300lbs, bench:370lbs, deadlift:335lbs)!!!!! But for me, more than the results, I really am proud of the journey and the process. Diana’s training philosophy was very methodical. I’ve learned so much through various mobility and flexibility exercises to rebuild strength in the muscles I had no idea I have. Every training session was done with intent and purpose. And I’ve learned so much about my body, pushing it to its limits, and learning how to make that connection between mind and muscle(in some cases she taught me how to disconnect my mind to my muscle for power lifting). Diana helped me conquer all my fears and taught me how to be mentally strong. Most of all, Diana taught me to become my own coach. I can now pin point areas in my body that I need to stretch or “release” whenever I feel any particular aches or pain.
I’m so thankful for having Diana be part of my recovery team and my journey. I feel so much more confident to take my goals to another level. I’m so excited and really looking forward to being the best version of myself!! Thank you so much Diana, you are truly a professional and an expert at what you do!!!

I can't speak highly enough of my personal trainer, Diana. I have hyper-mobility and attenuated patella alta, which have caused numerous issues with working out in the past. Previous trainers often pushed me too hard, leading to injuries. However, Diana has been a game-changer for me. She always places safety and mindfulness of my limitations at the forefront of our workouts, modifying exercises and strengthening the necessary muscles to prevent injury and make movement easier for me.
Diana has also helped me significantly increase my strength by teaching me how to manage knots and strains, which are inevitable for someone with hyper-mobility. Her guidance on recovery has been invaluable, allowing me to maintain my gym routine consistently. Working out with Diana has been truly life-changing.

I first went to Diana for help after a fall last year that had me on the couch for 4 months. I had little balance or strength to get me going again. After a thorough consult, she developed a plan for me and we began our sessions. I've never been a gym-person before, but she made it a fabulous experience for me! Everyone there is so nice! I was comfortable and though challenged, everything we do Diana makes it achievable for me so it is a delight to keep returning for more! In a short time I saw BIG differences in how I felt physically and my balance and fitness is so much better than even before my accident! Diana is patient, fun, so experienced in what was needed to help me and all her clients. I've watched her with people of all ages and needs and she is just amazing! Definitely beyond 5 Stars!!
Ok 9 months have passed and the Amazing Diana continues to challenge in my workouts. I've lost a bit of weight and have become much stronger, more balanced and more fit! A few months before I started working with her I had a poor bone density test result. I had to go on some meds, but the real help has been working out with Diana and my recent test came back Amazing! The Doctor was really happy and me too! I will say it once again--Beyond a 5 star!

I started training with Diana virtually when I was 5 months pregnant. When we started our sessions I wasn’t very active, the only other exercise that was part of my daily routine was walking the dog. Diana has been great about tailoring our sessions specifically around me and what I'm experiencing - both during my pregnancy and postpartum. I really attribute the ease of my recovery after C section to the core strength training and mobility work I did with Diana during our sessions. It’s now been 4 months after delivery and I’m already under my pre-pregnancy weight, have recovered from my sciatica (which popped up late in my pregnancy) and feel stronger than I have in years thanks to tailored routines from Diana. Diana’s Fitness Lab came highly recommend from several people in the RLOLC group. I initially sought out a personal trainer for strengthening my shoulders and hips due to old injuries and bone loss, which prevented me from playing tennis, doing yoga and golf. My first consultation included a comprehensive evaluation reviewing strengths and weakness throughout my entire body, including mobility assessments. I train three days a week with Jamie, one of the personal trainers at Diana’s fitness lab, and have been so impressed by the vast amount of knowledge he possesses not only towards training but also injury prevention, nutrition, and post workout care. He is always completely aware of my form throughout my training sessions and will immediately stop me if my form is off. I have done other forms of strength training my entire life and had to stop because they always resulted in pain throughout my shoulders and neck. I have been training with Jamie for five months now and never had any problems with pain because he is dedicated to keeping my form precise. My strength improved significantly and I have even lost a few inches off of my waist, bust and hips. I highly recommend Diana’s Fitness Lab and their services!

Without a doubt, Diana is an incredible personal trainer and an all-round awesome individual. Her infectious enthusiasm coupled with a drill sergeant's/jedi master's no shortcuts only the basics approach exemplifies both her knowledge in and passion for the realm of fitness as well as attention to detail when it comes to her clients' successes. In a matter of months, she not only help me achieve and exceed my fitness goals but also helped me build a good foundation to continue my fitness journey upon.
For context, before starting training with Diana, it had been a while since I had stuck with a workout regiment but was ready to get back into the swing the things. Over the course of six months, she challenged, guided, and motivated me to hit PRs I otherwise could only imagine of being able to hit. She did so by constantly listening, observing, and making the necessary tweaks without compromising the basics in favor of increased injury risk just to achieve higher numbers for which I can't thank her enough.
All in all, from struggling to power through some of the exercises initially to hitting consecutive PRs, training with Diana not only helped me improve my physical health but also my self-confidence and overall mental toughness by helping me get out of my own way of psyching myself out when it came to repping out sets. I wholeheartedly recommend training with Diana for all of your fitness needs!

After being released from physical therapy this year, I decided it was time for me to break the cycle. I asked my therapist who he would recommend kicking and keeping me in shape. He recommended Diana (@dfitnesslab) and it’s been like an answered prayer. I am only about 6 weeks into my workout regimen with Diana and not only can I already see a difference I can FEEL a difference. Not only have my posture and pain improved, but my riding has undoubtedly improved along with it (I am an equestrian). She has me focusing on my mobility and stability and BODY AWARENESS. I can't thank Diana enough - life changing experience. As I was aging I noticed my strength decreasing, simple daily living tasks were becoming more difficult. Then I experienced severe shoulder pain and after months of physical therapy with little improvement a CT scan revealed a small tear in my shoulder. The doc explained that the shoulder surgery would be months of healing and he did not recommend the surgery for the small tear but said that what usually happens is people fall and then the tear is worse and needs surgery. So I asked about personal training to build strength in my core to prevent falls as well as strength in the the muscles around the tear. Doc said great idea. Thank goodness I found Diana. Before starting my journey with Diana, I was unable to blow dry my hair without experiencing pain, now I can easily lift weights and feel so much better. More energy, more strength and increased joy of living! I have not had to have the surgery - best decision I made was to start personal training with Diana!

I began working with Diana Paul, fitness coach, as an avid couch potato, now I feel that something is missing if I do not workout 3-4 times a week and eat healthy food.
Diana first helped me understand the importance of good of sleep, nutrition, and exercise to improve my overall fitness. With the concepts well understood it was easy to integrate the details of nutrition and exercise into my fitness plan. Diana coached me every step of the way from being aware of nutrition and fitness concepts to helping me and my family eat healthy foods. I became capable of performing exercises that supported my goals.
So, what you may ask?
Repairs around the house that used to be performed sitting or kneeling are done squatting, a more agile and quicker way to compete projects that are close to the ground.
I spent last weekend at a family log splitting party. For two days we gathered, lifted, split, and stacked 6 cords of wood, a true real-world test of the of Diana’s coaching. I performed better than my generation and kept up with the next generation, 30 years younger. Not a single sore muscle was a pleasant surprise.
