Has anyone considered replacing the lat pulldown bars? They are in really sad shape. More duct tape is not the solution. Every day I see an average of 6 employees getting paid to stare at their phones or uselessly glance at IDs while a third of the cardio machines are broken and the pull down bars are falling apart. Maybe they should use the equipment once in a while. Then the gym closes at 3pm on weekends, but the single after-hours ID coder person is never there. Please do better. Believe me. . . I don't want to be here.

I enjoy the variety of the free-weights, the virtual walk program on the treadmills can take you on a nice virtual stroll in San Juan Puerto Rico or along the beaches in New Zealand. I enjoy a nice virtual stroll with the perfect lighting so that you feel you are actually there π

Dahlgren F.C is a great place to get a workout in. They've got everything from an indoor basketball court to a family workout room for parents and their children. Their Rogue Power Racks are clutch for weight lifting.

Great gym. Lots of spacing between the equipment and sanitary wipes to promote a more sterile environment.
This is a smaller gym with a wide variety of equipment for it's size. Not as large as planet fitness or the la fitness "mall" style.
Worth its wieght in gold for the Dahlgren Navy base. Great weather ... check out the track across the street. 3/4 of a mile, turfed, with short stopping points for body weight training.

I've been to a lot of military installations, and for a base this size, this is a really nice gym. Could they use a little more equipment? Sure, but they have a really good variety and setup and I'm always able to find something to do.

Great facility with an awesome staff that is helpful with recommendations for different routines and exercises. I took advantage of the gym every day while passing through the area for training. I definitely recommend the base continue to add on to the gym if thatβs possible. Itβs better than what was there before but still small for the amount of people on the base. Highly recommend it.

I love that they have non-staffed hours too. I also like that they have a room for parents with young kids! The little ones can go into a particitioned off section in front of the treadmills.

This is t the largest gym, but their equipment is good. There is an organized exercise room and a basketball court. There are towels given out at the front desk. The locker room seems to be well kept.

Clean, well maintained gym with indoor basketball/volleyball/Futsal court, racquetball courts, group fitness room, trx, lots of cardio machines, and free weights. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Only downside I have experienced so far is that there is only one olympic weight bench for regular bench press.

Built a new gym only to focus on the basketball court. The weight area is small and crowded.
Needs at least one more flat bench. Seriously, one is not enough. Also, just another reason being a contractor is awful, it's 30$ a month. Versus free for everyone else on base.
