The front desk staff at this gym are extremely unprofessional. They act like they don’t care about the members at all. Every time I walk in, they’re either on their phones, ignoring people, or giving attitude. Simple questions become a problem because they don’t want to help. The customer service is honestly embarrassing. This place needs better training and better staff immediately.

DMV Iron keeps raising the bar with every new location they open. I was here for the grand opening, and this place blew me away. The space is huge, clean, and really well laid out — equipment isn’t packed too close together, and everything is top-quality.

As a member of a few big-box gyms in the past, as well as small boutique gyms, it was a complete surprise when I discovered DMV Iron Gym. Housed in 13989 Noblewood Plaza in Woodbridge, VA, I recently trained at this veteran-owned gym.

For those who don’t know what a veteran-owned gym is, it’s a gym that was started by a veteran of the military in the US. This new location just opened a few months ago. You can enter with a key fob for 24/7 access.

You’ll notice DMV Iron has an the array of equipment. They have Atlantis, Hammer Strength, and other machines all over the place as well as unique pieces by TK, as well as elite FTs for functional training, and even a powerlifting room with competition platforms! It’s a haven for strength athletes looking to take their game to the next level. Gone are the days of trying to sneak on the squat rack between others hogging it.

As far as free weights are concerned, all of the plates on the bars are calibrated to 150 pounds, and their cardio section is filled. Each piece of equipment is well-chosen for maximum efficiency and versatility, offering the perfect combination of classic iron and modern tech to target every muscle group with safety.

I have been nothing but impressed by the atmosphere of DMV Iron Gym. This is a co-ed gym, but one that’s laser-focused on training hard. It’s a mix of local regulars who know how to work out without getting in each other’s way, along with an encouraging yet serious vibe that makes you want to push harder.

Pricing is very affordable for the area, with memberships starting at about $50 a month, and no high-pressure sales tactics to join. The gym also maintains high cleanliness standards. Members and staff wipe down equipment regularly and the layout is open and bright.

The only minor complaint I have is that the parking lot can get a bit crowded during peak hours in this busy plaza, but the accessibility off I-95 is convenient enough that it’s not a dealbreaker. Personally, after three months, my deadlift has increased 50 pounds and my workouts have more depth than ever.

For anyone tired of overcrowded gyms with little motivation, DMV Iron Woodbridge is my new gym and I would recommend you give them a try if you’re serious about transformation!!!

I really like this gym, but I do wish I would’ve had the same great first day experience a lot of the others had with Chelsea. I didn’t get the tour nor the options to get a trainer. Pretty much had to figure it out on my own. And on top of that there is this one guy that makes the whole experience very uncomfortable. Had to switch out my gym schedule to avoid seeing him. But overall I like the equipments that they have.

Update: the false accusations just to end my membership is unbelievable

Also I wanted to add that thanks to the pettiness and lack of sympathy tbe police was called on us and got trespassed for 10 years only because I was asking for answers and for them to be honest. John the manager told the employee to call the police on us. We were treated like criminals. Mark you were the one that started this and y’all looked for any reason to make that decision based on a rule that should be implemented for everyone not just me.

We LOVE this place!
In my life, I have tried many gym but this one by far the best one.
Since, they opened their new branch in Woodbridge recently, so all the machines are new; it feels great to workout with those machines.
Also, each machine focuses on each part of the body.
They also have many free weights, and for heavy lifters, they have many options.
People over here are very determined with their workout, so it's very motivating. Also, everyone is very helpful, so if you have any questions and the employees are not around, you can easily ask a gym member.
The music Playlist is on point, it feels like a club with lights on LOL
I love the sauna too because they finally raised the temperature, and it's Hot now!
No TV with junk food advertisement which is Perfect!!!

All the employees are nice.
Especially, Anish Katwal (has beard) is very helpful! He sometimes goes to members to check if they would need any type of help. He helped me with certain machines as well!! I always see him on the weekends helping or showing around members. A very fun and cheerful person!
Another employee, Jacky (wears glasses) was also helpful, and she helped us with a machine too, and asked us ques to confirm we were comfortable to start.

Overall, all my friends and I switched our gym membership to this gym, and we are very happy with our decision!!!

This gym is absolutely amazing! The equipment is top-notch, and there’s everything you could possibly need whether you’re lifting heavy or doing cardio. The atmosphere is super welcoming and motivating you can really feel the energy when you walk in. The staff is very polite and helpful! It’s also incredibly clean, which I appreciate so much, and the space is huge! Definitely one of the best gyms in the area. Highly recommend!

I checked out every gym in the Woodbridge area trying to find my "home". Other gyms had issues like older/junky equipment, poor facilities (lighting, bathrooms, paint peeling), and no real sense of community in the gtm. This gym has everything i could ask for and more. Friendly helpful staff, everyone in there seems genuinely happy to be taking care of themselves, and high quality equipment. There are so many small details that make this gym unique and well thought out. If you need a place to workout with ample equipment variety, space for movement, and a motivating environment you got it here. I am happy to be a member.

I recently had the opportunity to visit this gym using a day pass, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The staff members were both welcoming and supportive, which greatly enhanced my visit. I’m writing this review because the gym is awesome, but I saw some unkind individual giving them a bad wrap and they’re not even a member. As a business owner it’s ridiculous having to deal with reviews from people that don’t even use your services. DMV Iron is super legit and the staff are cool.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A MEMBERSHIP SOMEWHERE ELSE. Once you go here you will never want to leave. Best gym i have ever been to. They really have utilized the space well very different from Xsport. I have been lifting for over 20 years and there's equipment in there that I had to ask how to use. Couple great things about this place never seems busy, maybe due to the amount of equipment if someone is on something don't worry there 8 more of the same machine. Don't have to worry about the kids coming in and wasting time talking instead of working out. Everyone in there is there to workout. Jon is awesome he did a great job with the place and Jp kills it at the front. Overall an inviting gym worth the money. Side note they are stealing a lot of people from one life and planet fitness probably anytime fitness too. That should tell you something, but don't take my word for it go try it out tell Jon Stephen sent you you'll get a discount...kidding no discount but definitely worth it.

This gym is my favorite. The environment is very motivating. They have a machine for every muscle to workout. Even for people that climb that want to strengthen your fingers and for arm muscles. I really like the colors too. They even have a sauna too. They have a mirror room for posing and you don’t have to wait to get pose pictures. The front desk and Reginal manager are chill.

Provided a review before during the gym's opening weekend and decided to stop by again to give my final thoughts. Long story short, after purchasing a day pass, I fell in love with the gym so much that I immediately signed up for membership after my workout and it has been a great decision. This location is truly unique in it's own way. It is a great gym that has a massive selection of brand new equipment, plenty of free weights and more than enough power racks for anyone to use. What I really like about this gym is that it's very clean and has that positive attitude environment that actually makes you want to go there and push yourself in your workouts. This place is perfect for beginners who want to start their fitness journey as there is a plethora of machines and weights to get accustomed to strength and cardio training. Front desk staff are great folks who seem to take great pride in ensuring the gym is well maintained and seeing whether the members are following their expectations with machine cleanliness and racking their weights back. Honestly, this place is truly levels above in comparison from the other nearby gyms in the area and I know it will only continue to grow more popular as time goes on. 24 hours, 7 days a week, you can't beat that. Looking forward to all of my training sessions when I come to DMV IRON. 👍👍

This day is simply amazing. It's beautiful. ONE of the big things I like about this gym is its military veteran friendly. I love how spacious it is, I love all the different equipment. It gives a new edge to the normal boring work out equipment . I love the fact that there's so many different things. As a female who works out I love the positive vibe from other women. They have a blend of your basic dumbbells to your more complex equipment. The sauna is big. The staff is friendly. They are 24 hours. They definitely have something special going on. I hope they continue to grow, and I will continue to support them. My only complaint is that they don't have 500 location already because this is hands down the best gym in the DMV!!!!

The gym is really excellent and the equipment is very beautiful. The only unsuitable thing is the cooling; the place is very cold. As bodybuilders, we exercise and sweat, so we definitely need a warm place, not a cold one, so we don't catch a cold. Our bodies get hot during exercise, and the place is very cold. Unfortunately, all branches are too cold.

If you know how it looked before, then you will definitely understand what I mean. Also carpet is gone, the waste of space rooms are gone… there is a huge badass looking posing room. Nice to see new gym in Woodbridge. However upon trying in out on the opening days . It’s same space as Xsport with minor upgrades like painting black everywhere new machine yes was nice . Sauna still the same. Showers still the same . I will not pay 120$ a month for a gym in Woodbridge that use to work out in same area for $9.99.
Staff at the front desk not nicer as expected for open doors day. I m keeping my membership at Lafitness.
