Visited twice and had great experience. My toddler currently doesn't sit still when instructions are given by the coach. But both instructors were patient and I believe my toddler learned a lot. And enjoyed the whole session. My toddler also slept well at night as well. This is a great place for your toddler to spend their energy!
If you are bringing a toddler, the Studio is on Ground level. Big kids go to fifth floor.

We attend the toddler classes and absolutely love it. It has helped our little one learn to follow directions from a coach (who is also very understanding when he wants to run away and play with other things in the gym). Really fun way to bond with your toddler in a new way that can't be replicated at home. Much more reasonably priced than comparable gyms and classes are typically quite small during the week. Highly recommend!

My Kindergartner has had a great entry into gymnastics with Coach Ashley and emPOWER Kids. The coach gives extra help and direction as needed and my child loves what she’s learning and having fun!

I can't speak to the classes, but we held our son's 3-year birthday party here last weekend and it was perfect! We had two coaches for 8 kids and the kids had a blast. It was a perfect party set up for a bunch of toddlers. We were able to bring drinks and food as well, so the parents were also able to enjoy. Highly recommend for a child's party!

My experience with this studio echoes the experience of the mother who shared her daughter was injured. I felt really worried watching the class, unsure if I should just pull my son out. In hindsight, I should have taken my son out much sooner and listened to that inner mama voice. I witnessed some very near miss head injuries among two 3 year olds who were not following directions. It shouldn’t be feel scary to watch your kids learn gymnastics and I never feel worried watching my son now that he’s in a different program.

Super EXCITED to find local gymnastics classes for my kiddos near our home. emPOWER Kids is where a kid with tons of energy can go to get it ALL out. We were given a tour of the facilities by a professional, friendly and courteous staffer, and we knew right away that we wanted our son to join this program. If your kid is into flips, kart wheels, handstands, etc. this is the place for you. Conveniently located on the top floor of a building the entire suite is dedicated to naturing a kids love of tumbling, gymnastics and SO much more. We maybe late to finding this place, but we feel like it’s a new home for our kiddos. Check it out if you’re in the area, your kids will thank you!

I have my 5 year old who was enrolled in the tumblers and ninjas class over the summer. My daughter enjoyed it, they supplied real gymnastics equipment and the two coaches who worked with the children were friendly. Due to that experience I decided to sign my daughter up for the fall session. This time around there was only 1 coach for several children (9 children). Vanessa worked with up to 9 children regularly with little to no assistance. Someone from the junior classes would come to assist during floor work but rarely during the use of equipment. As a parent watching Vanessa struggle to attend to all of the children on different gymnast equipment falling or unable to complete exercises due to their legs being so short, I often offered to assist. Vanessa told me one day that she didn’t want parents on the mat. Children hit their heads, slipped off equipment often, and fell often… injuring themselves. On Thursday, November 17, 2022 my child attended the 4:15pm session. Per the usual one young lady came to assist Vanessa for approximately 5 minutes while the children were warming up, she left and did not return. Vanessa took the children to the equipment part of the gym and as I always do I follow incase Vanessa required assistance to prevent children from hurting themselves. Vanessa told me she didn’t want parents on the mat help so I honored her request even though I was a bit reluctant. Approximately 7 to 10 minutes later my daughter came running to me balling, she was historical for at least 3 minutes while I was trying to inquire what happened. Other parents were wondering what happens to her as well. Vanessa never came to the aid of my child. Vanessa never came to address me as a parent to inform me of what happened. When my daughter calmed down, I asked her what occur and she stated the she fell and her hand bent in the opposite direction. My daughter’s hand was red and swelling began. I called out to Vanessa asking her what happened, Vanessa never replied and never came off the mat to address me regarding what occurred with my child. Needless to say my daughter is not returning. Also I called the management number Thursday evening after the incident with my child occurred, it has been four business days and no one from management has called to address the issue or even apologize. I do not recommend this gymnastics company as your children are not properly protected or supported. People of color I seriously caution you as children of color are not cared for as they should be, the coaches don’t even care when your child of color is injured.

I was so excited to sign my toddler up for these classes this Fall. However, it just fell short. This is a review on the tumbling toddlers course. Positives: clean equipment, places to run, coaches didn’t mind if he ran around and didn’t do the exact obstacles demonstrated
Needs improvement: no music ever played- it was silent which is awkward and unenjoyable. Masks are still required and my husband forgot one so they made him PAY $5 (!) FOR ONE despite them saying next session masks are optional (something to note- anyone who still requires masks ALWAYS has free disposable ones.) The coaches demonstrated moves but barely interacted with my son and only focused on the kids they wanted to talk to, customer service was rough. Took me several weeks to get in contact with someone.
Overall I would not recommend this class for toddlers.

Love, love, love emPower Kids. My daughter did sessions throughout the school year - both cheerleading and gymnastics. The coaches were great and it was just such a positive, uplifting experience. The day camps are also outstanding - well thought out, organized, and fun.

I wake up this morning on a call from Jenni the owner of the gym. The reason of the call is to hear from my side what's happened. Jenni was very knowledgeable and informative about how to treat the kids, it was a miscommunication between us and the staff on the gym and Jenni explained everything and even give the credit back so she can compensate our toddler about it. Thank you Jenni for following up on this matter.

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences here! My daughter loves her classes and always asks to sign up for the next session. She has built strength and confidence while remembering to emphasize kindness in all she does. Mrs. Jenni and staff are awesome!! The adult tumblers class is also awesome and allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone to try things I haven't tried since a teen. Highly recommend!!

Amazing facility that promotes whole health, community, and true self-care. Amazing instructors who get to know all of their athletes and their families. The philosophy is to welcome one and all and make space for people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and economic stages of life. I highly recommend this wellness center and supporting it.

My daughter loves emPOWER kids and all the instructors, especially Ms. Jenni. She wishes she could go every day. Not only is she learning new gymnastics skills, they also do a mindfulness minute at the end of class. I'm so happy we found this gym!

Ms. Jenni and Coach Vanessa have been great with my almost-8 year old. R can be hesitant trying new things, and they've both been thoughtful, kind, and encouraging when she feels shy or frustrated as she learns new skills. I also love the mindfulness-focused wrap-up; we could all use a little stress relief these days!

My kids not just enjoy the activities and learn gymnastic skills here but also develop the strong friendship with their peers and instructors. I never expect my kids to learn such things as cartwheels. Somehow instructors help them learn these things with passion. I also see my kids have learned to pass these down to their friends. I assume that this place has created an environment for kids to develop multiplier mindset. I would highly recommend this place.

I have been very impressed by emPower Kids. My little girl is taking gymnastics there and she has had a great time and has learned a lot. They have a wonderful layout for gymnastics and Jenni, the owner is always creating new learning activities to really help develop their skills. They also do a little mindfulness practice at the end of each class which is great. Such an added value along with great gymnastic skills.

We love emPOWER kids! What I like specifically is the deep gymnastics knowledge of the owner. She is able to create challenges and exercises with a purpose - they specifically are meant to enhance a particular skill. We are also doing our daughter's birthday party there and all the kids are super excited!

My almost four-year-old has been asking/begging for gymnastics. EmpowerKids is the answer to her prayers. A fun-filled, active session with a great instructor. She felt shy at first but with expert coaching jumped in with both feet and tried all the stations with great success. Safe, thoughtfully curated activities really boosted her confidence. I am so grateful to have this in our area! Yay! for emPOWER Kids.

Our girls are in the second session of classes and couldn’t be happier. They are learning new skills and growing in confidence and strength. There are a wide range of times, age and skill levels, and COVID protocols are great. Coach Jenni and Coach Vanessa make it a fun environment to learn and enjoy being with other kids in a safe environment when so many other activities aren’t happening. My girls start asking about the next class a few days ahead. Highly recommend!

My 6 and 8 year olds enjoyed their class with Ms. Jenni! She has so much energy and enthusiasm with the kids. My 8 year old improved in her gymnastic’s skills and learned some great mantras like, “I am strong, I am brave”. My 6 year old got to burn off his energy and I loved seeing him focus on getting stronger. Safety protocols were great! Looking forward to summer camps.
