Before JP and I started working together I had knee pain when working out that I thought I'd never get rid of because of past sports injuries. He assessed the real problem and developed a plan to solve it. Not only am I past that knee pain, but I'm stronger than I've ever been. I can feel the difference every day with how much easier it is to lift and carry the kids in my life. Also really appreciate the hybrid model which gives me the flexibility I need with my busy travel schedule.

I've been working with JP for a little more than a year. He's a truly nice person and quickly develops a rapport. My goal was to get stronger and we've done that together. Our work together has improved my functional fitness incredibly. We've worked together online and maintained the fitness through virtual workouts. He is responsive to my needs when I'm out of town or working out in RVA. I'd highly recommend him if your goal is to be stronger. Plus no B.S diet talk!

I’ve been trying to put into words just how great JP is, and honestly, I can’t. He’s helped me more than I could ever put into words and not just physically. I’m not sure if it was the workouts or the unofficial therapy sessions that I needed more. I started working with JP due to hyper mobility and injury related issues. He completely changed the way I saw the gym and working out. If you are struggling with any sort of mobility issues or recovering from an injury, I HIGHLY recommend JP. He knows what he’s doing and he’s so incredibly patient. I think the patience was the key for me, I needed someone to push me, but also go at my pace. And he’s definitely a safe space if you have gym anxiety as well. Just go see him, you won’t be disappointed.

JP has been my personal trainer since I started strength training to support longer trail runs & gravel rides. Over the past year, I have felt (and seen) my performance improve - physically & mentally. For me, it's important to build self confidence and share experiences with others during training to stay motivated through the finish line. He gets that! JP is the best! He is so knowledgeable and created a routine that got me back to running pain-free and addressed my shoulder tightness with exercises to cultivate more stability. He’s a great teacher and coach. I got so much stronger, felt supported in my limitations, and became comfortable at the gym and in my identity as a ✨muscle mommy in training✨. I had so much fun, loved all the people I met, and left my sessions riding an endorphin high. I am very grateful for my time with JP 🫶🫶🫶

I've been training with JP for about a year now, and I'm looking forward to continuing! JP is kind, attentive, and supportive - he knows my limits and pushes me appropriately, as a great trainer should. With JP's coaching, I've had many PRs and moments that I surprise myself regarding what I'm capable of! Over the last year, I've become stronger, more confident, slightly more coordinated, and I've avoided running injuries due to my cross-training with JP. JP knows the perfect balance of pushing me to my limits safely. Just when I thought I couldn’t go further or heavier, boom, I was doing it! His encouragement and patience helped to get to that point! I couldn’t say enough good things about JP if I tried. Not only is he an amazing & knowledgeable trainer, he is an equally as wonderful person. I came to him in pretty rough shape, and he has done more for me than I actually thought was possible. I have been dealing with a lot of post-COVID issues and I couldn’t make it more than a few feet without getting winded - now I’m working out consistently and am able to be active again without struggling to breathe. I’m stronger than I have been in years, and my confidence is back. I feel like the person I was before COVID took me down, which I wasn’t sure would ever be possible again. In short, JP gave me my life back. He makes every session so fun, he listens & meets you where you are…..he’s just the best. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!! Love you JP!!

I've been doing personal training sessions with JP for 5+ months now and he's been AMAZING. He's very knowledgeable and caters workouts to your needs and goals. I have many old and new injuries and JP has helped me feel less pain during my workouts
Would highly recommend for him to anyone nervous about starting personal training! He's also always attentive during workouts, offers adjustments and explanations, and always pushes you to try harder!

I just had a family workout session with JP and he was great. He’s a natural teacher, individualizing for three different fitness levels while keeping it fun, yet challenging. He’s perceptive, engaged and knowledgeable. He’s also a nice guy, so it’s a win all around! Definitely recommend.
