Iβve taken about five classes here and absolutely love it! The instructors are amazing, super supportive, patient, and make every class fun and empowering. The students are also really kind and welcoming, which creates such a positive vibe. Every time I go, I leave feeling stronger, more confident, and excited for the next class. Definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about trying pole dance.

I have taken a few Lyra classes so far and my experience has been so positive and welcoming! I cannot recommend Meaghan C. enough as an instructor. She is incredibly friendly and is very clear when walking through difficult techniques to help even beginners understand well. It is also clear throughout her teaching and demonstrations that she is a 12/10 expert that you can trust to guide you.

This studio experience was GREAT! Me and my girls had such a wonderful time! Shout out to Ms. Tiana Sweett for instructing our class. We were so happy to have her as she was so fun, informative, supportive and a skilled instructor. She made each of us feel special. My mother has been to a pole studio with me three times and never participated. But this time she did because she said Tiana made her feel so comfortable. She had a ball and couldnβt stop talking about it! Weβll always remember our experience! Thank you Fit 4 Polers for a great addition to my already amazing birthday weekend! See you real soon!βπ½

I booked a Birthday party for me and a few friends. It was an awesome experience. Our instructor, Vanessa was awesome. She took her time and let us be silly and really enjoy the experience. We learned some pole swings and a chair dance. The owner was awesome, very attentive and she answered all my questions before the event. We enjoyed it so much we may be booking a private session just to learn more and get some exercise. I would recommend Fit 4 Polers. We will definitely be going back again.

The owner is extremely unprofessional. Join another studio to save you the trouble of her playing games with your money.

Not sure why there are bad reviews, but I really felt welcome when I first came for trial classes even thought I havenβt done pole for so long! They will let you challenge yourself instead of some studios I went, they donβt let me do trial classes for intermediate classes and forced me to attend their full beginner program which I donβt need to as an experienced poler.

Ruthie was so great!! My friends and I did a beginners class (it was all of our first times on a pole), and she met us all at our fitness levels and was so encouraging. It was definitely worth the drive over from DC and weβll be back for her classes.

I got a groupon for 5 classes which was a great deal but it was very difficult to get into the pre-requisite intro class. Then, after two weeks of being waitlisted for the intro class I was able to get a spot only to find out that it was cancelled an hour before it started. Very disappointing. I sat in traffic for almost an hour for a cancelled class because the EMAIL was sent around 4:30 for a 6pm class. They gave me a free pass but offered no help getting into another intro class so now it's back to the waitlist....
The burlesque teacher Gigi is awesome though and worth a visit even if the pole classes have (trying to signing up/cancelling) not been great.

I started at this studio in June 2018 after not poling consistently for about 8 months after my previous studio closed down. I can say I have found a new home. The instructors all have very different styles of teaching but they are all great, very helpful and welcoming. Jumping back into pole after a hiatus was not easy, but the instructors worked with me, providing modifications, spots, and that extra push whenever needed. And you learn something new in every class. The owner is great. When I had a problem that could have potentially forced me to stop poling (nothing to do with the studio), she was responsive and worked hard to help find a solution. Thank you Fit 4 Polers for making my transition a smooth one.

One of the worse pole studios I have seen in awhile. I would pay 125$ a month to be locked out of the studio. Every time I would come to the studio I would have to wait 30 minutes before they unlocked the door even though the open sign was on and they were supposed to be open at 2. I tried making reservations online and they told me that didn't work even though I went through the whole process of doing it. So I started going through one of the workers and then she started being rude and told me I was no longer allowed to book through her but online. So I booked online again and I showed up today no one opened the door for an hour. I called and texted and no one responded so I guess I will have to cancel my membership.

I was willing to drive 8 hours away to attend three workshops that I had paid two weeks in advance. Never saw anything about no refunds , but if there was I didn't see it. Between that time, a hurricane affected the area of North Carolina and parts of Virginia which I feel like wasn't safe for me to travel. I would have been fine with the no refund if they have been more courteous. I got a call back from someone from the studio offering to try and get me a refund until this day I have not heard anything back or wasn't even offered a partial refund

SUMMARY: The classes are fun and energetic! Its a 1 room studio for all classes. Good amount of space. Management can be unprofessional depending on who is scheduled for what night.
Did a beginner pole class with a friend and loved how the instructor was attentive and modified moves if needed. She also helped us with adjusting for certain moves so we could try them. Loved the class! Wasn't a total fan of the playlist but it was so much fun i hardly paid that much attention to the music. The second class I took was just beautiful! The flexibility class provided such a great & thorough stretch! Years as a dancer and I don't believe I've ever had a stretch session that was that thorough! The instructor was kind and attentive also. The music wasn't my taste but I was moreso focused on the stretching.
I used a Groupon for these classes but didn't understand that the fine print was I had to use it for both classes within a 30day window. Purchased it in November and didn't get to take the second class until January. I was pulled from my class like a student called to the principal's office in front of classmates and told I had to pay for my class. I explained I still had one more class according to Groupon but to their fine print that expired. I didn't appreciate the accusatory tone that was being taken with my friend and I as if we were trying to get over on the system. Even after explaining and apologizing for missing the fine print. We saw no need in paying as the Groupon was for 2 classes and that was our second class. We had even considered memberships or taking classes regularly until we were pulled from class and accused of trying to sneak into classes without paying. I was thoroughly disappointed in how the situation was handled and WILL NOT be returning. I recommend better training and conflict resolution strategy training for their administration team.

The worst professional dance studio experience I have ever had. I come from NY where dance studio etiquette is the single most important thing about a dance business.
I came here expecting to get what was promised to me-- first two classes free. Not only did the very first class I came to start A HALF HOUR LATE (because the receptionist locked the keys in the building), but she told me AFTER I TOOK THE CLASS that I owe $25 for the class I just took. When I explained that I was promised that it was free because of a groupon through the mindbody app that the company F.I.T 4 Pole had purchased for new customers, she called the owner, and with a very nasty tone, told me to wait because the owner will be here shortly.
After a FOURTY FIVE minute discussion with the owner after class, I was so fed up, that I kindly offered to pay for the class and never come back to this studio. Her response was "you could buy the new Groupon for 2 classes for $22 instead". I never wanted to come back to this place, so I paid the $25 for the one class, explained that this company should never make promises that they cannot keep, and that I will never come back.
The only good thing about this place was my teacher during my very shortened class time. I wish she taught somewhere else. I'd go there instead cause she was awesome.
**If you do not want to pay for a class that was promised to be free, if you do not want to waste an extra 45 minutes after class discussing the promotional deal with the manager, and if you do not want to leave a studio feeling unwelcome and angry.... DO NOT EVER GO HERE. *****

FIT4Pole is a great pole studio that has easy access to parking AND metro. You don't share poles (all 45mm Chrome Xpoles) here so you get very targeted attention from the awesome instructors. I teach pole class here AND I also take classes here because there are so many diverse "circuit classes" teaching all sorts of cool things like chair and burlesque that are challenging and fun . Don't take my word for it -- try us out either for pole or for one of the other diverse offerings. Co-ed, 18+ (unless with parent/parent permission).

The class was awesome. Really a place with no judgement. You get let it all go and try something new! Had my first pole experience yesterday and now I'm hooked! I feel like I worked every muscle group head to toe.
The teachers I had were great! They were very fun. They encouraged you to move aft your own pace. The 2 classes I took, power 4 pole and the beginners pole were Jam packed. My only concern was of running into someone! Had a blast, a great workout, and got to release my sexy!

Seriously check this place out! Great fun and no one care if you are completely awkward. Just have a great time, get a great workout, and learn! Went for a month with Groupon classes and have now purchased a monthly membership!

I went to FIT 4 Pole on Monday and took Free Inhibition Time for Pole (All levels) with Colleen and LOVED it!! The class was truly all levels- the combo she taught ended with a pose that was modified to fit every level. I enjoyed FIT so much that I went back on Thursday for FIT Like Me (Intermediate) with Laydia and was challenged with two different pole transitions!
I felt very comfortable with both instructors- they were very warm and personable and know their craft very well. The other students in the class were very welcoming and encouraging! Inverting is always intimidating but I felt secure knowing that a spotter was readily available. Colleen and Laydia were available to watch me transition from one move to another and tell me what I can do to make the transition smoother and more successful. Both ladies have such wonderful and energetic personalities!
The studio itself is pristine! You walk into the lobby/ seating area and are greeted warmly by a receptionist and an array of pole clothes which I LOVE because I have a hard time finding shorts and tanks and sports bras that I like. Everything in the studio is well organized, and clean.
This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!!! Thank you Colleen, Laydia, and everyone at FIT 4 Pole for such a wonderful and positive experience!!!
