FO Fitness is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, offering specialized rehabilitation, corrective exercises, and performance enhancement programs. Our services include Corporate Wellness, Group Classes, Personal Training, Special Needs Fitness, and Senior Fitness, provided on-site, off-site, and virtually. Each program is customized to address the unique needs, circumstances, orthopedic health history, and current fitness level of each client. By combining extensive experience with ongoing education, we develop training programs grounded in scientific evidence, suitable for individuals of all ages and athletic abilities, from novice to expert.

We met Lans Fofana almost six years ago when he was working with individuals at a day program for adults with severe disabilities. We quickly noticed the rapid improvement in his clients’ physical and mental states and soon hired him to train our 30 year-old daughter.
Lans has worked five days a week with our daughter in one-on-one sessions for over five years. When the day program closed due to covid, he transitioned, with precautions, to our home. During that time of otherwise isolation, she consistently gained physical strength, improved balance, and enjoyed a healthy mental attitude.
Lans’s extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology coupled with his motivational skills is what distinguishes him from an ordinary trainer. He takes a wholistic approach directed to the individual’s needs. His work ethic and can-do attitude inspires clients regardless of their age, malady, or physical/mental state.
Better health is a commitment. Training can feel overwhelming without the right person by your side. The words “personal” and “trainer” are of equal importance with Lans. Individuals draw from Lans’s positive attitude, expertise, and personal drive. Our daughter looks forward to her workout and literally pats herself on the back at the end of the session. Lans has made a big difference in her life.

My family and I would like to take time to genuinely thank Fo for helping my sister, Olivia, rehab after multiple knee surgeries to repair her ACL, meniscus, and MCL. Olivia was sidelined not only her junior year of high school, but also her senior year too, but Fo never gave up on her because he recognized her potential and believed she could achieve her goal of playing division 1 basketball. We are very happy to share that she was able to attend college and earn an opportunity to be on the team! Her dream came true and many thanks are owed to Fo for helping her push through, not giving her a choice to quit or give up, while holding her accountable and teaching her how to care for her body and prepare to compete properly. Fo helped teach her to work on her mind and body, and to be confident when she is on the court and at workouts too. It is because of his effort, dedication, and commitment to excellence that Olivia’s game, mind, and body further developed and helped her transform into a division 1 athlete, ready for the next level. She will continue working with him in the offseason when she is home from college because she wants to be there, and he’s made an impact on her life that has opened many doors for her future. I have been going to Fo for almost 10 years. I started a few months after I had my daughter. I wanted to compete in a Tough Mudder and knew he was the one to get me ready. Fo can be intimidating at first, but once you get past that, he’s your guy. He makes you feel capable of doing things you never thought you could. All in all, Fo is great workout if you want to feel mentally and physically stronger.

I started going to Fo Fitness approximately 8 years ago. I loved the classes and I was in the best shape of my life. Covid happened and things were shut down for awhile. I recently rejoined with a friend for personal training 3 times a week. Fo pushes you to do your best, is supportive, but also listens to any issues you are having and readjusts the workout. You will always get a great workout with Fo either at his classes or one on one training. So glad to be back!

I have been a regular attendant of FO’s classes for the past 6 years. I’ve enjoyed the variety and complexity of movement as well as the challenge of the workout. FO gets to know each of his clients and will tailor workouts according to their specific level. I’ve been a client at Fofitness for over a year. I joined as a military member in need of intense conditioning and a strict routine that would help me reach my fitness goals. I have arthritis in my knee which stinks. Hurt all the time. After a year I went to the doctor who wanted to put me under the knife and give me some drugs. For me, drugs and surgery are the last option. So I Started working with Fo and after six months, built up my muscles and now I’m about 1000% better. No surgery, no drugs and no pain.
Workout changes every few weeks and builds on the previous work. Work hard, progress fast. Make excuses, progress slow. Fo will figure out where you are and what is needed and adjust accordingly. You pretty much get what you put in and Fo will not sugar coat anything. Don’t be fooled, it is hard work, but for me way better than the alternative.
Also, having an appointment time gives me somewhere to go so I have to show up. It’s not like golds where I can flake out because I am tired or lazy. For the reasons above, I say go to fo. You won’t Fo-king regret it.

I tore my acl and after surgery Fo had me walking without crutches within 2 weeks of training with him i’m always ahead of schedule when i go to see my doctor. i really appreciate what Fo has done for me and i don’t think anyone could do it better

I like the fact that his studio is private and easily accessible. The program he chooses for me is personalized and very challenging. I do the best I can. Never a dull moment with Fo! I hadn’t exercised for about a year and half during the Covid pandemic. A friend recommended Lans Fofana of Fo Fitness as a physical trainer and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have some orthopedic and balance issues which limit my mobility. My first workout with Fo, I could barely get off the flat matt on the floor. He works with my limitations and I am so much stronger. He also works with elderly and handicapped. Fo has helped me tremendously. He is very professional, patient, very knowledgeable about what what movements affect which muscles. He is passionate about his profession and explains and demonstrates exercises in great detail. Fo is also very flexible to help one achieve their personal goals and is very fair. Without changing my diet, I lost 10 to 15 pounds and my clothes fit so much better. I have significantly more energy every day.

I’ve been going to Fo Fitness since it opened in 2012. Lans Fofana is an excellent personal trainer but make no mistake, he WILL push you to your limits and beyond. Fo Fitness does not equal faux fitness! It’s the real deal!
