Great local gym. Helpful and friendly staff. Our family has been going here since 2017. Free weights, squat racks and multiple other machines spread across 3 floors. Fitness trainers and classes offered for gym members. Beautiful view of trees and wildlife outside gym windows is a nice bonus.

I love this gym. It has literally everything I could ever imagine a gym having and more. I had been searching for the right place and this is it. I also find the staff to be friendly and available. My partner likes it as well and she finds the classes to be fun and challenging. There is also a special area for ladies only and plenty of options even when crowded. I would recommend to anyone.

i really wanted to like this place. leave it 5 or 4 stars. but now im dealing w a billing issue thats been dragging for months now for a measly 45 bucks. apparently theres some terms i wasnt aware or notified of after freezing an account but no communication was ever made. they just charged me thinking i wouldnt fight it. i didnt even step foot in it the last 2 months!!

not to mention a Racist issue with a young Karen, i mean female employee here that occurred about 5-6 months back. Im Asian and wasnt masked and this lady went to tell the boss on me, even though all the other (white) patrons did as they pleased. Funny. As an American born brother of a military vet, this type of behavior sickens me. Let go of the 45$, you dont deserve it. Maybe ill even change my rating once you do. Still no response after 3 years. sheer ignorance.

Gold's Gym offers a travel pass which is awesome when traveling. I used my travel pass to visit this location. The staff was very friendly and the gym was clean. They have plenty of equipment, (free weights, hammer strength, etc.) and a cardio room. The men's locker room and showers were also very clean.

The Liberia Ave Golds Gym is the best location of this franchise in the area. It has plenty of space, a wide variety of equipment, a friendly staff, and clean facilities. It used to be 24hrs which was the icing on the cake but it currently has similar hours to most other gyms.

I only wish it had a pendulum squat or a power squat pro but what gym does?

BEWARE they only accept free trial passes from people from Manassas. Got denied because I live 15 minutes away in Centreville - some areas of Manassas are farther from this gym than Centreville. Waste of time as this is not listed on the site. What’s the reason for not being inclusive of those that live in a nearby town? Bad business.

I wish I could do a "-5" star review. First the management team is very unprofessional and "does not care about the members" . My son works for Dal City fire because of him I joined with my daughter. I recombed 3 more people. But my kids got busy with life so its been over 4 months we did not go. Still had to pay fees I told them please cancel our membership but they would not Let it care on for 2 more months then I got $35 annual fee for each of us!! That was on top of the $30 monthly fee go or not.
I would not have minded so much if I saw a "GLIMSE" of care or sincerity from the staff there. Be warned. NOT worth the mony at all

Update: they have denied ever saying they were going to return to 24 hours. Straight trash. Planet fitness is better and im able to avoid any type of traffic by going at 2 am. Stop lying and saying youre going to Return to 24 hours

On the website it says they provide a free pass to check it out. After printing a free pass and upon arriving they said they don't do free pass at this time and that's the old sign from before closing. Ok, understood that. Then please remove the sign if it doesn't apply anymore. Second there is no daily pass as most of the other Gold Gyms provide. They just want to charge you a membership.
If you want a good workout and good customer service check out the Fairfax Gold's Gym location. Great service, clean location.

The maintenance & cleanliness is impeccable at this facility. Plenty of parking space for everyone and most importantly it is a budget-friendly location. Just joined Golds Gym they charged me the initial sign-up fee which I was okay with. The next day I got news I had to return to Las Vegas Nevada for my job. I called the gym and said, I need to cancel my membership I will know longer be in Virginia to work out. I thought that would be the end of it. No they billed me for December and January and a 98.00 fee to my credit card. After I told them I would never set foot in their gym. Today, I called the gym and was hoping to speak to someone that could refund my money, but no she said, I need to submit a certified letter to cancel. Why? This is ridiculous. I want my funds back from November through January. Not once did I use the facility.

Everything in the gym is great and in a great layout. Tons of equipment to choose from. Lots of different classes to choose from if you're into that. The only reason it's not 5 stars for me is that the other gym users are pretty awful sometimes. I of course use headphones when I work out to drown out other people's nonsense, but several of the gym members seem very intent on overpowering the music I listen to by either absurdly loud grunting or slamming weights as hard as they possibly can.

Great gym, been here a year. Only two cons, you can only use this hub. I travel a lot (weekly) so it’s no longer the gym for me. When I went to MD I told them I’m a member here in VA and she said it’s $20 to workout at their branch, where’s the member discount?!? Lol because it’s only about $7 for guests. I pay $35 already a month, not paying another $20 for one workout session. Second con is, some of the staff can be rude and it’s consistent (not just a “bad day”). They treat you like just another bill being paid (Exp. the women). And from my year here, they speak to each other more than the customers and are friendlier to each other more than the customers. Don’t bother me none though, I go workout and mind my business. Great gym overall, would be 5 stars if we could use any Golds or at least a membership that offered that.

Definitely a more serious gym goers 2nd home. There are guys here that lift well over 600lbs and the place is geared that way. They have 3 floors dedicated to weights, machines and more one on one sessions. The staff are friendly and you can tell they work very closely and are friendly to each other which is always good. Definitely not for posers or ego lifters. Stick to la fitness for that.

There is no such thing as being a member here anymore. I just feel like another monthly payment. The environment is uncomfortable and rarely clean.

Terrible experience. Wanted to try this gym out in hopes to sign up as I recently canceled my other gym membership. When I arrived I was told by the kind guy in the front that I could get a guest pass online otherwise I'd have to pay 7.50. As I was about to do this a rude and angry Hispanic fat manager (hopefully not) or superviser stepped in without warrant, would not let me try the gym out. I was with a friend who was already a member and he insisted I had to pay to TEST the gym out. This was outrageous to me bc even better gyms such as lifetime and onelife will allow anyone to test the gym out free of charge for at LEAST 3 days let alone 1 DAY! I felt very uncomfortable with this rude and classless customer service that I kindly said ok and did not say much else, just went ahead and signed up at the LA FITNESS gym across the street and my friend also canceled his memeberhsip and signed up there as well after experiencing this kind of experience. I always liked Golds Gyms atmosphere, however I will make sure to tell people about this experience and classless customer service and recommend people to NOT WASTE THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY PAYING MONTHLY AT AN OVERPRICED GOLDS GYM WHICH CLEARLY ONLY CARES ABOUT A DOLLAR RATHER THAN THEIR CLIENTS. I went in to get a trial for me and my sisters as we are all heavy and wanted to try and loose weight together was told they can’t because they are 17 so I went to the bathroom and they asked to use the bathroom the lady let us but had a attitude the entire time , while I was in the shower and sauna my sisters waited with me and camil kept on coming and watching us I felt very uncomfortable finally they went out and sat where she said they could wait and on my way out to get my I’d she said she was trying to be nice and let them use the bathroom but because they waited with me till I left out and went and sat in front that the pass is a Privilege and she revoked my privilege but if I wanted to buy a membership I could I find it very unprofessional that because my sisters that we’re not doing anything or causing any disturbance made my privileges get re-vote as they were sitting with me in the bathroom I will not be joining

I came in this morning with a guest pass, ready to take a 530AM class. I’ve loved Golds Gyms in the past and even worked the front desk at one for awhile. However, upon entering and asking politely about my guest pass at the front desk, the woman behind the counter was rude and unhelpful. I recently changed my last name because I got married and, when I forgot to tell her this, she was very clearly annoyed at having to look me up again in the system. Somehow my guest pass had already expired, and although I’ve never been to this gym in my life, I turned around and walked out rather than having to deal with this unpleasant person. I get that a gym isn’t exactly a place you come to expect dazzling customer service, and I know that the 5AM shift is an early one, but maybe invest in someone who isn’t clearly annoyed by your customer base.
