This place is great, I’m new to basketball and I’ve been going here often (maybe 2-3 times a week). I have really seen a lot of progress in my basketball skills and playing. I’d say from this my footwork, dribbling, basketball knowledge, and even stamina (etc). I’m going to try out for my basketball team and the dude there (very friendly and you can tell he cares) gives me a bunch of tips and info about basketball.

Ed has bad communication, can't keep track booked times. Constantly moves times, if it wasnt for his assistant trainer I would have lost money on 4 training sessions because he wasnt at none of those trainings. The very first private session I booked he called asking if he could add other kids cause he over booked and would make up the last session. The last session we had booked he didn't even show respond to message or phone calls. I do not recommend.

Coach Ed and the other coaches truly increase the players basketball IQ. He took 10 middle school girls trained them and they took The championship game at Bon Air this week. This game was so entertaining the girls played with a level of intelligence that was astonishing. I never saw a group play soooo smart. Coach Ed really motivates the players.

The concept and facility have potential. The lead coach doesn’t keep appointments or communicate in a timely way. And keep in mind you have to prepay. No refunds. I only had 4 sessions. The first one was suppose to be private but because he didn’t put it on his schedule it was double booked with another kid. The second had to be changed three times. The third took me two weeks to book. The last one got moved from Sunday to Monday, also changing the times three times. Then to Tuesday at 2pm and he never showed up. He will definitely take your money and run.

Very small 1/3rd court on one side and a moderate full court in the adjoining suite.
We pay per hour for use and use 2hrs. Good enough for a good sweat. Basketball hoops are the main usage here.

If you are looking for an amazing experience for young and old, experienced and rookie players, this is the place for you. Hoops has been a great experience for my daughter. Friends had been telling me about Coach E and the rest of the coaches and staff at Hoops Basketball Academy. Seriously, it is a wonderful experience. Your child will be a better baller after just one 45 mins session.
