Updating my review to 5 stars. I still believe this location can use some improvement in customer service but the owner, Melanie personally reached out to me and went out of her way to understand my concerns and offered more than reasonable options to make up for the inconveniences. So 5 stars for personal outreach and experience. I was given the option to rescind my new membership and did not feel coerced or influenced to stay but based on my one encounter I chose to ride it out for at least the 6 months and will decide then whether to continue. Melanie seemed very empathic and genuine. I hope that they prioritize those same qualities in the future in their hiring process.

I have been a member of HOTWORX for two years, but I just recently moved to Chesapeake and I transferred my membership over to the Greenbrier location. I was a little nervous about switching HOTWORX locations after going to the same one for two years, but the Greenbrier location is amazing! It is very clean, organized, and everyone is so nice and welcoming. Not to mention, always a great workout! I get so excited to start my day with HOTWORX at Greenbrier! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in having to give such a poor review. When I joined the facility, I was excited and had hopes that I would be able to make it to the gym given the proximity to my home but that was not the case. I was aware of the 3 month commitment when I signed up but as my circumstances changed I was not be able to cancel after those 3 months due to a 60 day cancelation notice. In actuality this gym is a 5 MONTH commitment, not 3 and because those details were not verbally disclosed at the time I signed up I was unaware of this stipulation. I bit the bullet and paid the $100 cancelation fee. When I had asked the owners if they would be willing to pro-rate the month I had just paid for (even though I hadn't even used my membership during that month period) they were not willing to work with me because they were "too lazy" to go into the system and refund me. Very poor customer service.... Because of the way they handled the situation I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

I've been a Hotworx member for a few months now and have to say that it is one of the only places I have ever enjoyed working out. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Being open 24 hours is a huge bonus for me, as is having guided workouts because I am terrible at trying to formulate my own. Working out is a different experience in a 125 degree sauna. Even a stretching routine to get you a little sore and soaked through by sweating. They also have assault bikes and rowers for more aggressive workouts. I seriously recommend checking this place out, especially if you're visiting hot destinations soon.

I definitely enjoy working out in the sauna rooms. Excellent professional staff. Extremely clean and the best part is I could access this gym 24/7. I just wished hotworx had a treadmill since that’s one of my favorite workout equipments. Hot thunder, hot stretch and hot Pilates are currently my go to classes. I love HOTWORX for the following reasons: the flexibility and being able to work out whatever time I want, the east access with the app on your phone to get in and out or the personal code both make me feel super comfortable, the various workouts offered so you can switch them up whenever you want, the gym area allows me to get more strength training in, the staff are super friendly and helpful and just the ease of being able to squeeze in small workouts but maximize the intensity from the infrared heat! The monthly rate isn’t bad either. I definitely recommend giving it a try.. you’ll be hooked

I was a member of Hotworx at another location for a couple years before moving to the Hampton Roads area so I was so excited to see that a location opened here. The price is reasonable, facilities are always clean, staff is helpful and most of all I’ve seen a really significant improvement in my fitness whenever I come consistently. It being open 24/7 makes it really easy to work out frequently.

I, for the longest time, did not believe all the hype. Even as more and more of my family and friends would rave about Hotworx. Reluctantly, trying it out about a month ago, I can now say that I like it. I like Hotworx alot. I am impressed with the cleanliness and seemlessness with getting acquainted to the workouts. For somebody, that never regularly excercises, I can see Hotworx becoming more and more of my routine. You dont know until you try. I recommend you check it out.

Love this place!! I’ve been coming for about 8 months and I’ve already lost 24lbs ☺️. The variety of classes and workouts is amazing and definitely gives me more motivation to workout. I’m no longer spending hours in the gym (unless I want to!) and I’m seeing much better results than I ever got outside of personal training! My favorites are definitely Hot Thunder, Hot Stretch, & Hot Warrior! If you’re on the fence about it, try it I guarantee you won’t regret it!
