Good luck canceling you membership, even if you move states and call to cancel they continue to charge you. This place is giving all Hotworx studios a bad rap.

Review update from 5 stars to 1 star. This is a franchise and the franchise itself and the services they offer are fantastic. That said, the business owner here, Raja is a bad business owner and despite me calling to cancel my membership no short of 4 times (because I moved) I continue to be charged. I've called and left messages. I've called and spoken to the workers here and have been told a manager would call me and he never calls. I have canceled with said workers (a male and female) multiple times and still continue to be charged. I was told I never texted nor emailed and that's not anywhere in their policy plus, don't tell me I'm cancelled if that's something I need to do and would be happy to do. Go to another Hotworx unless you want to be charged indefinitely. Call me Raja then I'll consider updating my review.

Hotworx Vienna is nothing like other Hotworx studios I've been too. The place is always dirty, I've never seen the staff cleaning and bathrooms are disgusting. The front desk person (a kid), whose supposed to be there until 8:00PM is rarely there when I show up at 6:30PM. Last night I was the only person in the entire studio. I felt very unsafe, it is not a safe place for women to be alone in the studio. When I was a member at Bethesda Hotworx, it was always fully staffed until 8-8:30pm, they were constantly cleaning the studio, and it was always bright. The Vienna studio is dark, the lights are on a motion sensor so its dark if no one is moving around and lights go off when your in the sauna. The place is very UNWELCOMNG! Its a shame because I do love the concept of Hotworx, just not the Vienna studio. I will be canceling my membership because I no longer feel safe in the Vienna location. However, after reading the horror stories from others I am expecting a hassle. As to the comment about "corporate policy". These studios are all franchises and individually owned.

the rooms didn’t feel fresh or properly cleaned, and there was little explanation about how the workouts work. I was also concerned about their cancellation policy after reading so many negative reviews about it. The whole setup feels more focused on locking you into a contract than creating a great member experience.

This place is TERRIBLE I would leave 0 stars if I could! They never clean their facilities, require me to pay $100 for a mat and I tried to cancel my membership because I have a gym in my apartment building and they have been giving me the hardest time and have continuously charged my account while simultaneously locking me out of the gym since. & since they wouldn’t stop charging my cardI tried to utilize their facilities but then they locked me out while charging my card every month? Honestly a scam. The manager and owner are both so rude. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I am extremely disappointed with how HOTWORX Vienna handles membership cancellations and customer concerns. Trying to cancel my membership has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with any fitness studio. I spoke directly with the owner of the facility, and instead of taking accountability or assisting with my request, he repeatedly deflected responsibility by saying that “corporate” makes all the decisions. It felt like a constant game of passing the blame, which is completely unprofessional for someone in an ownership position.

Additionally, they intentionally leave out certain information to get you to sign up, and once you have a card on file to pay for the membership, they charge fees and have rules that are hidden in the contract. When asking questions about these fees and membership terms, I was misinformed by multiple employees, including the owner. Furthermore, when signing up they also state you “must” buy THEIR mat and towel (which are insanely expensive, over $100) to use in the sauna, but in overhearing a guest tour during my session, another employee stated “any kind of mat and towel can be used in the sauna, even one off Amazon.” I would NOT recommend HOTWORX Vienna to anyone looking for a reliable or honest fitness experience. This kind of misleading practice is disappointing and untrustworthy.

Lastly, the facility itself also leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom is consistently unsanitary, and there’s often visible sweat on the inside of the sauna glass doors between sessions — which is unacceptable for a place that markets itself around health and wellness.

Started coming to hotworx a few months ago, and I love it! The fact that I can have the sauna to myself and just destress from the day is a huge bonus! It’s nice to be able to book my sessions ahead of time to keep myself accountable.

So far my faves are hot ISO, Buns, Stretch, and Blast!

Signed up because there were promotions going on. Was promised a free month, but then was charged. Membership agreement was for one value, and I was charged for another. Staff very aggressive in trying to get you to sign up, then ignores your requests when you have issues after the fact. App stopped working after a few weeks and login was stuck in a loop. Door access didn't work so I could only go during working hours.

Good spot to get my sweat on and just feel my body "Decompress". I do the cycle and thunder row, feeling like I got a great workout! A clean spot and it's just the right size without that huge gym feel.

I have been a member at the Vienna Hotworx since they opened last June. I am a HUGE fan!! The staff is beyond welcoming and helpful. The facilities are always spotless and the workouts are life changing. My husband joined around the same time that I did, and we both have become somewhat addicted. This is the only gym/membership that we both have consistently stuck with. We actually find that we miss it and the way it makes us feel if we are away for too long. I highly recommend this Hotworx!!!!

Very disappointed. Was interested in finding out more about the business, methods and overall business plan. They are looking for investors..What I found .....Website crashes often when searching locations.....found a location(Vienna) but was surprised when the doors were locked. Staffed hours on door says 11am-8pm. No doorbell or staff at front desk. Not a great start.....

Have been a member since June 2023 shortly after they opened, still enjoying it! The sauna aspect is an adjustment at first if you are not used to it but it feels so great during and after. It’s noticeably improved my cardiovascular endurance. There are plenty of different workouts to keep things fresh and the weights area is small but plenty of dumbbells and equipment including a cable machine, bench, and kettlebells. The staff are helpful and the rewards program is a great incentive. A great value gym membership overall!

You know it’s a great workout when you are returning from vacation and you are waiting for your connecting flight you book your workouts from the airport. I couldn’t wait to get back and working out again. I love the Hot Thunder, Blast, Barre None and ISO. Looking forward to trying more !
