Brent was able to build a virtual program a friend and I could do together which made a huge difference in terms of accountability. The workouts are effective and very easy to follow, but the nutrition consultation made the biggest difference for me. I've used apps to track my diet before, but never knew what I should be aiming for in terms of macros or when/what I should be eating so I was fueling my body correctly and not super hungry all day. Because of the nutrition plan we created I've learned to make much more conscious choices and it's the first time in a long time I've seen results. I've lost 10 lbs, gained muscle and a lot of knowledge. Very grateful for this program and would definitely recommend!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found Brent’s program and Iron Oak Fitness. I have always despised working out - I've never been athletic, the idea of breaking a sweat was more of a nightmare than a fitness goal, I never felt that "rush" people talk about, and to top it off, I'm prone to injuries. I also had a torn shoulder that the doctor told me would need surgery within 2 years. That's where I was at when I first started Brent’s program in May 2023.

Brent went above and beyond my expectations. Brent is such a great trainer. He really wants to make sure that your workout is right for you. He takes the time to listen to specifics about what works for you or what limitations you may have. He is very watchful over your form while doing movements to make sure that you are doing exercises the correct way. He gives tips and corrects your form so that you are doing the best you can, not just the most reps or the heaviest weights. I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and he has designed a workout for me that helps to alleviate that tension as well as making sure that the movements don’t make it worse.

AWESOME! - a word that is sometimes overused, but it’s really the best word I can think of to describe Brent and Iron Oak Fitness. I have been training with Brent for over two years. There are few people I have met who are as dedicated to their profession as he is.
Brent has a great working knowledge of anatomy and physiology. I was out for several months last year with a herniated disc. When I returned, he carefully restarted my exercise program with approval from my physician and physical therapist. Iron Oak Fitness has really hit the nail on the head when it comes to offering a virtual personal training program. I can’t put into words how highly I recommend this service for someone who wants to see results. Whether you’re getting started with your fitness journey or your a pro in the gym, there’s a program for you.

All within the app, I’m sent my workouts for the week, complete with video explanations of how to perform the movements, which is super helpful when doing exercises that are new to me. I’m able to enter the weight, sets, and reps I perform for the exercises so that the next time I go to do that same exercise, I can see where I was the last time and able to increase it, helping me to become stronger over time.

There’s also so much flexibility with the diet. Rather than telling you what you can and cannot eat, Iron Oak Fitness provides you with what you need to know about nutrition, how to determine your necessary calorie intake and macronutrient consumption for your individual fitness goals.

These here are my before and after photos from my first 12 week program. I’m much more toned with less body fat and more muscle mass. I’m so happy with these results! Not even two weeks later and I started my second 12 week program because I was missing it so much. Excited to see where Iron Oak Fitness can take me next!

Before leaving a review I just wanted to give a little of prospective.. I am a stay at home mom of two under two babies, I haven’t worked out, or have had the time to do anything for my body in over 2 years. I have limited gym equipment ( a few dumbbells and a bench ) and I have little to none experience at the gym, I really need to be told what to do for me to be able to accomplish a workout. I started the Bare Bones program on May 10th at 217lbs and as of June 7th I weigh 205lbs. The program is easy to follow and understand with both video and video description. Brent is extremely quick at responding to any question I have ever had both nutrition wise and exercise wise. The program is so easy to follow though that I’ve only ever needed to contact him once or twice at the very beginning. Before staring the program I was eating very badly, I was constantly sluggish and barely had any energy to keep up with my kids. Now I’m alert, quick, full of energy. I love how clothes fit me again and I honestly cannot wait to see what another 4 weeks of this program will lead me to! Brent is the best and if you have any doubts on wether you should try one of his programs or not.. just do it, it’ll be 100 % worth it!

I don’t know where to begin when communicating how much Brent and the Iron oak program has transformed my life. I won’t bore you with the details of how pleased I am with my progress and physique, those things to me are truly an added bonus. Brent and his crew have an amazing thing happening. There are so many good things I can say about the program, but I think the most important is the feeling of being so highly valued. I know my goals and needs are important and I can tell Brent really cares about helping me toward those goals as his main priority. Because the program is partly app-based I get the benefit of doing things on my own time with my own flexibility, plus the app is really user friendly and it makes it really easy to track your progress with the exercise history at your fingertips. But then it's also personal. I've used some good algorithmic workout apps in the past, bu no matter how advanced, it will never come close to the human connection piece. This is also where Iron Oak shines. I know I'm working way harder because I feel connected with my trainer and his vision. I feel motivated and driven in a way I've never felt in my life. All in all, Iron Oak Fitness is giving me far more than physique, it's helping me have a better relationship with myself inside and out.

I was referred to Iron Oak Fitness by a close friend. I am 49 years old, and was extremely out of shape and I am an insulin dependent diabetic. Only because of my weight and poor physical condition. I had some gym experience and have had back, shoulder, and bicep surgeries. I was very skeptical about hiring a trainer, but knew that I would want an in person experience. I was 264 lbs and I am 5’11’’.
Brent met with me to setup a plan. He is very knowledgeable and extremely caring. I had some range of motion issues and pain in my shoulder when we started.
Well, that was 5 months ago. Brent pushed me hard, but never past my limits. I lost a few pounds in the first couple of weeks, but he had me doing a little bit of everything in the gym. He knew exactly when to turn the dial and when I was ready to go all in.
Brent has changed my life. I have laughed so much with him and have even cried on his shoulder.
Well, today I have worked with Brent for 5 months. I have lost a total of 35 lbs. My waist has shrunk from a 40 to a 34. I actually have abs. I never dreamed I could look and feel like I do. I have been utilizing Iron Oak Fitness for the last couple of months and have been incredibly pleased with my results thus far! Brent was able to create a combination of at home exercises as well as exercises more specific for the gym to help me stay committed to my workout routine. As a nurse, I work 12 hour shifts and still would like to incorporate some exercise when I get home, so the combination and flexibility of his workouts have allowed me to stay consistent with my routine.

This program is amazing! By combining the Band and Body Weights program with knowledge from the nutrition series, I was able to loose over 10 pounds in the first month and a half. Brent has an impressive knowledge of the body and muscle groups and his attention to form is unmatched. I have never had a trainer focus so much on form, which is always something that should be addressed!! I completed my first 12 week program with Brent after feeling uninspired in the gym- as if I were doing the same workouts every day. I loved the diversity that Brent’s program offered, switching workouts up weekly while also cycling particular exercises back which allowed me to see my progression. I LOVE the app because it allows me to track and reference the weights I used the last time I did the exercise (no more carrying around a notepad!) and the embedded videos which show the correct form if I’m ever confused. As a 63 year old physician, I was hesitant to return to training after a long year of gym closures, stress-eating, and a flare-up of some back issues that have bothered me since my 30's. My wife initiated my training sessions with Brent, and I can only say that the 6 weeks of training has been transformative and remarkable.
