Wonderful! Matt is amazing at what he does! He makes great workouts tailored to you and your specific goals. Not only am I investing in my health and wellbeing with Matt, he is also helping my husband and my mom. And they absolutely love the workouts with Matt. Have been going for PT and one on one trainer sessions at Kaizo for a couple of years now. The staff is great! The team has helped me in recovery from lower back disc related issues and Migma one of their trainers has worked with me on strength and mobility training. I started going to Kaizo X - Fairfax because of chronic hip pain, and after a course of physical therapy that made an amazing difference in my daily life, I decided to continue my strengthening journey by training with Migma. I originally came to KAIZO to heal 2 torn ACL knee injuries. Having been a long time friend to owner Dr. Jay, I had full confidence in his team and their abilities. After months of successful physical therapy, I was introduced to Migma who spear-heads the KAIZO X Program - a fusion of science and fitness. I must admit that I was reluctant at first but it didn't take long to make me a believer. After suffering a near-death paragliding accident, I was apprehensive to do anything physical. Finally, I began to trust in the process and experienced amazing life-changing impact in how I walk, sleep, think, and move about my life. With each session, I increased my level of confidence and joy in being active. I hadn't squatted in 30 years and swore that I could never do it again. Within the first weeks, I was able to do that and so much more. I hadn't run in decades and now I can jog with confidence and started playing basketball again. As a matter of fact, I was able to run after my 3 year-old son who took off and was heading for traffic one night when we were out. Without my training with Migma, I could never have had the courage or ability to save my kid. I can't recommend KAIZO X and Migma enough to those seeking physical transformation and healing. Do your mind and body a favor and give them a shot. I'm living my best life and to them I am grateful.

Two years after a knee injury, I was unable to return to the activities I enjoyed due to chronic pain. Even after 10 months of physical therapy and exercising on my own for a year, I still struggled to walk long distances, run, jump, squat, and lunge without significant pain. Migma created a program to help correct my strength imbalances and address other lifestyle factors affecting my recovery, specifically sleep. After only 12 weeks of training, I am now able to exercise pain free for the first time since my injury. Migma’s expertise was vital in helping to bridge the gap between physical therapy and being able to exercise independently and autonomously. He taught me how to exercise more effectively and helped me gain the confidence to return to sport. What a wonderful find. I have struggled with hip pain for nearly 15 years. 11 years ago I had hip arthroscopic surgery. Sadly, my physical therapist at the time told me I was young and to just be active. That I didn’t need PT. I found Kaizo Health and began my PT journey that should have happened so many years ago. I transitioned to Kaizo X, and the tailored work outs that go hand-in-hand with my PT have taken my progress to the next level! Yesterday, I ran a mile for the first time in over 10 years! I used to workout consistently for over 5 years and if I didn’t workout I would at least go on a walk. After being rear ended by a 15000 pound vehicle twice…I stopped working out and was completely confused about what to do. I did not want to aggravate my existing pain and make things worse. I was not motivated to do more than bare minimum to get through the day. Kind of felt like my life being fit was over. I had a consultation with Migma, the personal trainer, and he explained in detail how my body was responding to the accident and why. He came up with a training plan. Over the course of 3 months we met once a week and focused on unilateral movements, progressive strength, offset loading, coordination, and endurance. Migma made sure to explain what each exercise was working and the importance of technique. He has also explained how a healthy mindset can change the trajectory of my life. Overall, Migma is the best trainer I’ve had and I recommend him to anyone getting started with exercising and overall mindfulness or someone who’s trying to get back on track. He doesn’t use condescending tone to motivate you but he also ensures you’re giving your best to each session.

I’m almost done with my 12 week personal training and it has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself. I’ve learned a lot from Migma. And my back/hip issues have gotten a lot better. Kaizo is great! Their lead trainer Migma did a great job at assessing why I was getting reoccurring pain and injured so often and then he designed a workout plan to keep me out of pain and in the gym doing the activities I love. I cannot speak highly enough of Kaizo X and especially Migma Tamang. I had back pain for several years and was unable to exercise. After successful PT treatment with Kaizo I began training with Migma to regain my functional movements and build strength. This has been a life changing experience. I am in better physical shape at 60 than I was at 30 all thanks to his guidance and patience in working with any limitations I have.
