Recently experienced a private pole session and had the best experience! The studio was very warm, welcoming, clean, and secure. The instructor, E, was very engaging, knowledgeable, and patient. The session was well thought out. I came in knowing little to nothing and walked away with an entire routine. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn and grow in pole.

i know someone who was at this studio and the whole pole fell down while she was in the air. they said they were going to close for “equipment updates” but classes resumed the same day so clearly they lied. they also admitted to not having insurance and have done nothing to help the injured dancer i know! wouldn’t recommend this studio to my worst enemy. they’ve continued classes and ignored outrage from the community.

I purchased a package to try out pole for the first time at this studio. I arrived to the studio for my first class, to find the lights off and the door to the studio locked. I waited for a few minutes and no one, including other students showed up. There was no email, phone call, or post made about the class being cancelled. I called the owner to request a refund and instead of being apologetic, she lied and stated that her teacher was there on time and refused to provide a refund. I had to file a dispute through my bank to get my money back, which the owner also made difficult because she did not respond when the bank contacted her. If you are going to take pole in Richmond, do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE!

This pole studio is extremely unsafe and poorly managed. A close friend of mine was seriously injured when an entire pole came out of the ceiling during class. To make matters worse, the owner admitted there is no business insurance, leaving students completely unprotected. This is unacceptable and dangerous — no fitness studio should operate without proper safety standards and liability coverage. I would strongly caution anyone considering attending here until the facility makes major improvements and ensures client safety.

Disclaimer: I have not been to this studio in person. However, I know multiple professionals who have refused to work there due to safety concerns. Recently, a student was seriously injured due to the studio's negligence. The owner is now refusing to communicate with the student and is deleting comments regarding the incident on Instagram. There are several other great pole studios in Richmond where you can safely explore pole dancing - Try SOUL or Pole Paradise.

I heard about a recent incident through my wife and went by there , it’s still the same poles and set up. This is dangerous and my wife will NOT be back . The business really only care for themselves and it’s sad that they are getting away with this . I seen there was nobody speaking up and wanted to write a review myself. Take heed please .

I'm gonna have to advise that students do not attend this studio until they fix their faulty poles. these poles are falling out the sky, and they aren't doing anything to address the issue nor help those who have been harmed.

THIS STUDIO IS NOT SAFE!!!!
One of their poles fell down during use and someone got seriously injured. They are avoiding any accountability, not providing insurance info, and do not seem to have any intention of putting proper safety measures in place to ensure this never happens again.
Go to a more reputable pole studio in RVA like Soul or Poleverse

Coming from another studio owner, these poles are not properly mounted and present a very dangerous safety hazard. Someone has already been hurt and instead of addressing the issue, the owner has decided to deleted instagram comments and ignore the issue and injured dancer. Very disappointing, do better!

My friend fell in this studio due to their negligence and lack of safety inspections on their equipment. They have refused her information on their liability insurance and/or they just don’t have any. They are now ignoring her and deleting comments on social media when anyone asks about the situation.

I absolutely glad i have found this place. Every women needs a supporting community that motivates, appreciate, and cares about women. I have been coming here for about 2 years now and it has only grown. My own confidence has done nothing but grow since starting here. The instructors are incredibly kind and supportive, creating a welcoming environment while still pushing me to challenge myself—which is a huge plus for me. The stretch class is beyond what I expected! The instructor checks your form and encourages you along the way. This class is a good way to start off your week by minimizing your stress levels. It doesn’t hurt that the playlist is amazing. Oh and the powerful affirmations towards the end of class is an extra bonus 🙏❤️

Beautiful studio! I have been renting it for hour-long practice sessions to keep up my pole strength between travel dancing. Orchid is wonderful and the studio is clean with everything I need. Highly recommend

I reached out to this black owned business (ORCHID is her name) in hopes to collaborate as two black owned business to produce exposure for both via a private business party booked for the day. I paid half deposit two months in advanced. At which time I paid we communicated via phone that had If I need to change I could pay a $50 fee to reschedule or change my party type since I paid half. I did understand there was no return on deposit once paid. Fast Forward 3 weeks before the event that was set to take place. A dramatic life changing event occurred at which point I reached out to her ( ORCHID) and asked if I could down grade my party to one of her normal privately booked parties for $300. that’s her price for a regular private party… when asked, she then told me I would have to pay her an additional $150 because she was expecting $850. So she wanted me to pay her $575 for a class that’s usually $300 at her studio. I had already paid her $425 which was already $125 MORE than her actual class. I never asked for the difference back just to down grade and she was to money hungry instead of looking at it as an opportunity to still promote her business to a smaller class that was still already paid for. I never got my class or my deposit and she stop communicating as to a solution. I wouldn’t recommend this pole studio to anybody she does shady and unethical business unfortunately. I hope that in the future she will try to be more accommodating to the people who are investing into her. No matter the cost.
