Kinney has a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for helping people. She has a variety of trainings including Romana Pilates, Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis -among others. She is a person who can truly apply her knowledge to help anyone. She has excellent awareness of injuries and biomechanics so that she can integrate her knowledge and technique into what is integral and specific for the body of any individual. Would recommend her to anyone - seasoned Pilates people, people who are new to movement, highly injured, or just looking to live better in their body.

I have been doing pilates with Kinney for a few years now. I have also done pilates with others (both group classes and private 1-on-1), and Kinney is by far the best! She is very knowledgeable, assesses what is happening with your body, and comes up with exercises and a plan that works for you where you are. Since I have been working with her, my body posture has been better, and the pain in my hip was radiating down my leg is gone when I used to take the maximum amount of Motrin to ease the pain so I could sleep. Once you start working with her, you will quickly notice the difference. I highly recommend her!

Kinney is nothing short of amazing. I had horrible diastasis recti after pregnancy and she was able to help me return it to normal. My posture and strength have improved immensely! I never thought pilates would be a “hard” workout after being a gym rat and avid soccer player for years, but I have seen greater benefits doing Pilates with Kinney versus years in the gym. Highly recommend!!!!

I don't often write reviews but I am compelled to write this one. I met Kinney several years ago in the middle of the pandemic as we both were trying to complete professional movement trainings. I was immediately impressed by her in-depth knowledge, commitment to her craft and ability to assess the body in front of her. As she is extensively trained in Pilates, Gyrotonic/ Gyrokinesis and select alignment/corrective exercise methods she has a vast toolkit to draw from and knows exactly how and when to use her tools.

Fast forward and I am preparing for a total hip replacement in a few weeks. I have worked with Kinney for the last year in preparation, and not only do I feel fully prepared but Kinney made it fun and "doable" for me. I can't wait to rejoin her post-op!

Kinney was my first Romanas Pilates instructor- and I am so grateful for her because now I’m an instructor myself!! Thanks to Kinney I was introduced to the classical pilates method ( and now I cant think of any other way!) . Working with her is always a pleasure. She is thorough, patient and dedicated to helping others. She has helped me gain body awareness, confidence and knowledge in my movement. I appreciate working with Kinney because she is always willing to explain verbally and/or find different routes to get me to understand how I should be moving.10 out of 10 teacher! She will change your moving habits in the best way possible!!

I love my gyrokinesis classes with Kinney each week! We have a supportive groups of members who are willing to go outside of our comfort zone to improve our mobility. Working with Kinney has really helped my functional movement. She’s helping me with range of motion in my spine, my feet and my hands. She is also addressing my bunions and hammer toe, which has been a real concern for me. I am very impressed with her breadth of knowledge, her patience, and her helpful instructions and adjustments.

Before I started Pilates with Kinney, I had knee, foot and neck issues. I was experiencing dizziness due to my teaching profession due to extensive computer use. She has taught me so much about posture and proper spine and neck positions and movement. Regarding my feet, I suffered with plantar fasciitis for two years and was in excruciating pain. Kinney and I focus on my feet every class, and I have not had one recurrence of plantar fasciitis since I started working with Kinney. My left knee was experiencing pain before I came to Kinney, and she worked extensively with me on knee movement. Her Gyrokinesis classes have helped me with my joints and spine and have made me much more flexible. I cannot say enough good things about Kinney’s work ethic and knowledge of the human body.
