Libre Dance is by far the best dance studio I have worked with for my daughter. As a young dancer, she learned more in the year with Libre Dance than she did with a large local studio in the area. She has become dedicated to dancing now, with her strength and form improving by the day.

Immediately upon the first class, the other moms waiting welcomed us as if we had been there forever. All parents take care of each other and each other’s children as well as volunteer to ensure the studio events are coordinated and flow as well as possible with the number of moving parts and people.

Overall, I recommend Libre Dance to all moms and dads looking for a reputable studio where the owner and teachers truly care about each child and nurture them to grow and thrive.

I can't say enough good things about Jasmine and her staff! The fact that we live in Virginia Beach and have driven to the studio for special events on numerous occasions is a testament to the fun, interactive, educational and warm environment they provide. So pleased with their ability to include my child in their art! Can't wait for what's to come for my little one!

Terrible place. Cult-like, lots of drama the more involved you become. Extremely unprofessional management and so disorganized, you receive endless non-sensical emails riddled with errors about important events like recitals and if you ask questions people tend to be rude or short with you about answering. If you have a small child, take them elsewhere. Recitals are a real headache and you often have to leave your kids alone with god knows who. Everyone leaving reviews has kids who love dance and are afraid to speak out because there aren't a lot of other options in the area. If you have older kids, make complaints and see if this company can change for the better as it grows.

The fact that my review was met so quickly with a defensive, canned reply only reinforces the environment I described—one where surface-level image is prioritized over genuine accountability.

If you truly welcomed honest feedback, the concerns in my review would have been addressed, not dismissed with vague language about “values” and “culture.” Glossing over issues doesn’t make them disappear, and silencing criticism with corporate platitudes doesn’t make a "business" inclusive (if you can call it that)—it makes it fragile.

I’m not the only parent who’s experienced this behavior. I’m just one of the few willing to say it publicly.

My daughter is 6 and I did a free trial class for her at Libre Dance in February and immediately signed her up for the class right after. In just the few months that she has been dancing with Libre Dance her confidence has gone up and her social skills have improved dramatically! Ms. Jasmine is an amazing teacher and was so patient with her. My daughter will now be taking two classes starting this coming Fall and I am so excited to watch her grow as a dancer! I would recommend Libre Dance to any parent who has a child that may be shy or is not very good with socializing because it is one big family.

Libre Dance USA is wonderful! The environment is warm and welcoming, and my toddler and I are both so excited for her to start ballet classes. Mrs. Jasmine, the owner, was so kind and provided excellent follow-up before and after my daughter’s trial class. Mrs.Theresa, the dance teacher, was amazing with my little one during the trial and very patient. She made the experience so comfortable and fun that I felt confident enrolling my daughter right then and there. I'm really looking forward to seeing my little one grow and bloom here!

5/5. My daughter (3 yo) had the time of her life. We went for one day to see if she was going to like it, and she ended up dancing and enjoying the whole class, she absolutely love it!!!!. The staff, from the owner to the teachers, are so sweet, warm and welcoming, we really fell like it was the place for my baby to start dancing clases. Also, the studio is really pretty and neat, and have enough space for us parents to wait until the class is finished. And, the fact that they allow us ( the parents), at the end of the class, to see a little bit of what they did was nice.

We love the start of the season after a break because we meet people who are new to libre and they get to experience how amazing Jasmine is and how much she wants your dancer to succeed! Jasmine, the owner, is a beautiful and experienced dancer, and an amazing teacher. My 3 year old has been attending for over a year and every time she dances outside of class I can really see all of the ballet she's learned in her classes, and she is always very excited to go to dance. Jasmine keeps the class fun and exciting and she keeps the kids engaged by having them perform in things like festivals as well as dance recitals.

I have known the owner of this studio for several years; she is dedicated to the kids and the art of dancing. She displays patience and encourages positivity while teaching. My daughter received individualized attention and was never lost in the number. My daughter has grown and learned so much under her guidance. The studio is beautiful, bright, spacious, and clean. I have had the opportunity to observe multiple dance classes at Libre Dance USA Class as well as attend and participate in events for the community hosted by Libre Dance USA. I can confidentally say they have all been great experiences. It is amazing to watch Jasmine teach and the effect she has on her students. My oldest Daughter has been with Mrs. Jasmine for some time now and has gained so much confidence with her teachings.
