I switched to Lifetime from another gym because of the quality of their facilities and services. Recently, however, they converted the entire basketball court into paid pickleball courts. I used to warm up on the basketball court, but now the space has been completely repurposed to generate extra revenue.
On top of that, I can no longer use certain machines unless I upgrade to a Signature membership. I’m already paying $140 a month, which should be more than enough, but when I asked about access, I was told it would cost an $240 per month to use both the machines and the pickleball courts. It feels like they’re taking advantage of members.
Because of this, I’ve decided to cancel my membership and will be joining One Life instead. Best of luck—with what has truly become the worst customer service experience I’ve had at a gym. Cleanness is getting worse with no supervision.

Final week, looks like they got 3 areas of the gym blocked off for P90 classes. It's comical at this point.
Oct '25 Pt 2: So looks like now in addition to the increase in dues they also want you to upgrade to a signature membership to use massage chairs which are currently offered to all patrons. I've cancelled. The corporate greed is insane.
Oct '25: Another $20/mo increase for existing mbrs. If you want to start here with a family, it's $355/mo for new members. If you want Alpha, add another $50/mo. If you want to visit Clarendon/Reston/Potomac/Ashburn, you're going to have to pay more money above what i just listed here.
"As part of our ongoing commitment to a premium membership experience, effective November 1, 2025, your monthly dues will change from $259 to $279 (plus tax, if applicable). As a long-standing member, your rate remains $80 below new members with the same membership access."
Oct '24: Another $10/mo increase.
Changing from 5 Star to 1 Star. Look at your trends on Google, dismal. I'm paying $255/mo for my family, $20/mo increase this year. Y'all have taken away the basketball courts to add pickleball to make more money. Tonight at 1730 I went to the compound lift racks, racked all my weights and was kicked off by Risa for her Alpha class. No signs present BTW she just expected everyone to bend to her demands. Upon inquiry, you have to pay to upgrade memberships for Alpha.
Y'all run Alpha at the busiest times, consume 12/15 racks, and expect paying patrons to be ok with this so you can make more money.
I will be discussing this with corporate. Risa ruined the end of my compound lift routine. Other patrons on the floor were equally unhappy with the racks being taken up for Alpha.
If y'all want to make lifetime a pay for everything experience, then do that and cut my rates, otherwise I won't be moving in the future for equipment I'm entitled to for the insanely high prices I'm paying for lifetime.

It’s a great location for a workout, and I usually enjoy using the sauna afterward to relax. However, the eucalyptus level in the sauna has been extremely high during my recent visits. Other members even joked that toothpaste wasn’t needed - just open your mouth for fresh breath. Some commented that it made their lips burn.
Each time I’ve gone, the eucalyptus concentration has been unusually strong. On my last visit, the steam wouldn’t activate unless I repeatedly stepped outside to press the button. It would turn on briefly, then stop, causing the room to become cold.
Since then, I started experiencing persistent nosebleeds and had to see a doctor, who prescribed antibiotics for sinusitis/infection. I don’t typically have sinus problems, so it seems likely that the high eucalyptus concentration caused irritation. While it might seem minor, our bodies aren’t meant to handle such strong concentrations. It can damage soft tissue. For now, I plan to skip the sauna at this location and use the one at another facility, where the levels seem to be much more balanced.

This gym has completely lost touch with reality. The membership fees are the equivalent of a car note, and then they’ve got the audacity to charge $50 for a day pass—absolute robbery. For that price, you’d expect world-class facilities, but the equipment is subpar and barely competitive. DMV Iron not only has double the machines and far better quality, but it’s also 30–40% cheaper. What this place is doing isn’t about fitness—it’s about exploiting people’s wallets. If I could give this zero stars I would.

I recently injured my leg from skiing in spring I have stopped going for a while - but in July, I spoke to Jake who put my membership on pause since i paid but not going while I had therapy because the doctor didn’t want to keep using machines could have interrupted his helping me to heal. Jake did ask me and I sent him my doctor email so I thought it was fine. When I came back to after 2 months to reactivate my membership, there are charges of 15/mon.
It wasn’t much but I talked to Brian the front desk. He was very unfriendly as usual as well as other staffs at lifetime, it’s almost known. He said well, "Jake is not here anymore. You need to bring a doctor note." (they knew i had gone to the gym with crutches) I felt kind of disappointed and said "its not big a deal thats 15 but I discouraged, makes me wants cancel going here." Brain immediately asked "You want to cancel your membership? I can cancel it right now- immediately!"
It took me completely uncomfortable how he provided such manner in service. Showed a cold weird look at me like he never knew me as a member. Not a second said "let me see what i can figure out about the email or like Im sorry we still have to charge you 15/mon." Ive been going to them about 4 years, spent about 5k with them, $15 they cant even try see what information was taken? No. It’s worth losing a member for the heck of it.
I miss the manager Jacob. He left a while ago. he was very friendly and very very professional. always polite in the front desk, always greeted everyone with a professionalism, always taking caee of things promptly. When i showed broken glasses in the parking lot or a crock roaches by the entrance, he got to it right away. He was always nice and polite unlike, unlike most of the font desk showing poker face. It’s odd!
I was jsut used to going there before. I think the gym in general was good, enough machines for what members need. There was time sauna broken 3,4 days out of the week. That’s all I used most I was still ok. I even had plans to put my husband and teen daughter on the account, but seems they didn't care. Even the staffs on salaries or don't own corporation, they should care because the members make up the name for the gym. Oh well, it’s not the lifetime for me anymore.
They don’t need your business since Brian helped me quit so fast!

My husband and I have been members at Lifetime Fairfax, VA since 2014.
I am writing this message to let your organization know that I’m really impressed the way your staffs at Lifetime Fairfax, VA have offered assistance to me.
They are not only hard working, but also very professional, and their communication are excellent that makes a positive impact on me as a client.
I’d like to thank Alessandro and entitle Operation Teams for their hard working with positive attitude. I would like to recognize Stefan (my best pickleball Coach as he was very patient with me), Justin (very nice with us at pickleball court), Kelly (Great receptionist with a nice smile. She was very professional when I asked her about adding new membership for my 10-year-olds nephew), Chris Taylor (helped me to choose super bands for my work out and even showed me how to use the bands the correct way to help my knee issues), and Gabe (help me to find this contact info to send my survey to LT).
Your staffs at Fairfax, VA answered all my questions/concerns. I’m greatly appreciated it. Thank you so much for your outstanding customer services!

I don’t have problem with the gym in general, the kids area where is supposed to be safe place for your little one. There is one one lady her name is mambi , she ‘s so rude and unprofessional to be with kids. If you see her don’t trust her and you have to check your kids while they are in the kids area. My son is autistic and always treats him differently when he comes instead of welcoming him she goes hide the toys away from him (infront of tge parents)claiming that he will make a mess which is his right to play while he’s in the play area. This lady always she says i am working for long time but she doesn’t seem have the enough experience with kids. Even her coworkers have problem to work with her.

I visited the Fairfax Lifetime location for a gym tour on August 19th at 6:00 PM. My husband already has a membership at the Centreville location, where the staff have always been very welcoming and professional, so I was expecting a similar experience here. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
From the start, we were not greeted warmly despite having a scheduled tour appointment. The lady at the reception desk, who conducted the tour for us, was neither welcoming nor professional. When my husband mentioned that he has a membership and that I was also interested in joining, she repeatedly corrected his accent by asking, “Do you have, or had?” instead of focusing on assisting us. This was disrespectful and uncomfortable.
During the tour, I asked about the maximum capacity allowed for their Pilates classes. Her response was, “Just count however many machines there are—that’s the maximum.” This answer was dismissive and not informative at all.
Overall, the experience at this location was very disappointing compared to Centreville. Because of the poor service and lack of professionalism, we decided to continue with the Centreville location for both myself and my kid instead.

Members since 2019 and although prices incrementally increase between 18-24 months, we find that the upgrades, staff, and maintenance of the facilities are on par with the increases. They do an excellent job keeping their equipment operating when needing fixing, and cleaning (which seems like every hour if not more) around corners and crevices normally forgotten. Equipment is plenty, sure they get busy during busy hours, but since the renovation, have added many more squat racks which was a pain point in the past. Newly renovated sauna is wonderful, the addition of the Recovery area is amazing with the hydromassage chairs and use of Normatec compressions and Hyperice machines. We love going here. Boyfriend is sad about the loss of the basketball court into a pickle ball court, but that's about it. Just wish it was closer to us. Thanks for a well-run and operated gym.

This month is bittersweet as we bid farewell to Kim Neville, a LifeTime GF instructor of over 18 years. I’ve been taking classes from Kim since she started, and I can tell you that she has a special talent for teaching. Kim not only teaches all formats exceptionally well but also varies the choreography, sequence, and exercises while using diverse equipment to effectively target all major muscle groups or maximize cardio segments. Her knowledge and expertise are evident in the selection of effective and safe exercises, and she teaches them in an order that ensures a smooth class flow, maximizing time and benefits. Kim productively guides participants through each exercise and offers modifications to ensure success for all members.
Kim’s classes are dynamic and engaging, and she exudes an unwavering positive energy and compassion that makes everyone feel valued. She not only provides a challenging, multi-level, balanced, effective, and safe workout but also incorporates jokes, quotes, color days, educational tidbits, and personal stories that make workouts fun and foster a sense of camaraderie among class participants.
Kim’s professionalism, creativity, enthusiasm, and caring style are unparalleled, and she will be noticeably missed!

My family and I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Life Time. The personal training and front desk staff are consistently friendly and professional, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. Most notably, the kids’ swimming program has been outstanding. Zach, the Aquatics Leader, goes above and beyond to ensure families have a positive and rewarding experience. It’s clear that he cares deeply about supporting both Life Time families and staff. His kindness and sense of humor helped build a strong rapport with my son, making him feel safe and at ease in the water. The swim instructors are also warm, engaging, and highly skilled—especially Fiona, who has guided my son from being fearful of the water to swimming with confidence. In just a few short months, he’s gone from avoiding the water to comfortably putting his head under and swimming almost independently. We wholeheartedly recommend Life Time Swimming to anyone!

This gym is truly amazing! Many have talked about the gym itself and the services, the cleanliness, etc. All of that is true!
I want to take a moment to highlight my amazing coaches that I have had since I have been back! Edouard, Nic, Rebekah R, and Jessica P have made it possible for me to get back into the gym and working on myself! They have helped me with an injury, provided modifications, pushed me to lifted harder and press me forward when I think I want to stop or dial it back! They are patient, kind, and truly care for each of the participants in the classes. I am thankful for the effort they put into class each morning! Don't miss trying a class with them!
In addition, I went to the Discovery class for Pilates and Arleen is top notch! She was informative, explained the theory, the purpose and what to expect in class. I ended up signing up and I now attend 2x/week and Arleen has built community within her classes, people of all levels and experiences are welcome, and again she works with each person to make the class work for them. Her passion for Pilates and overall wellness shines through and I truly am thankful for her dedication to us. She is firm on doing the work properly, will assist with form, and she is authentic in her work with each person in the class.
Lastly, in the past couple of weeks a new staff person came on. Her name is Janessa! I have not worked with her out in the gym, but she came up to me and introduced herself, chats with all of us as we get ready! She is positive, energetic, and she remembers your name! What a hard thing to do when you first start and learning so much! Again, another gem who wants to build community and connection with people!
I have not yet explored more classes but if this is what you see in the first month, I can't wait to try more things!
I hope this excites others to try these classes and meet these coaches!

The lifetime club is nice, the people who work at the towel desk at night are always rushing and take care from most of the problems I mentioned ,but outside of them most of the workers are always unhappy and with a rough attitude . I recommend this lifetime because it’s clean compared to other gyms in Fairfax but there is some empty spot with management . When I was asking for help the general manager told me the people from the towel desk could figure it out instead. I felt as a GM he shouldn’t be talking like that about his workers and that he should have more consideration for members and workers.
Great club but hard to understand the staff .

Edit Dec 2024, changing from 1 to 4 stars: General Manager was replaced and the elevator was fixed within 2 days. Club is also much cleaner.
This gym chain is in general awesome, please don't take the 1 star as a comment on lifetime as a whole--It is just Fairfax where things get and stay broken. I'm on crutches and love the fact that they put the arm ergometers on the second floor and have a perpetually broken Handicap Access elevator that they do nothing about repairing.
The other locations are great though for people with injuries/handicapped though.

Maybe this is one of the better gyms in Fairfax, I have no idea, but in comparison to other Lifetime locations, the Fairfax one is pretty disgusting.
My chief complaint is the locker room - where the shower area is just completely disgusting. There are always deep heavy puddles all over the floor, there is no proper drainage, this extreme wetness of course leaves mold and mildew everywhere, and walking out of the shower on the wet floor is a serious safety hazard - it is very easy to slip and crash down onto the hard tile floor.
In fact, the last time I was there, someone DID slip and fall and they slammed right into me, I really don't want some wet naked random man body slamming me. But I couldn't really be mad at him - it's the club's fault. The wet floors are dangerous.
I have complained to the staff each time I visit this location and they nod and smile and promise to get it taken care of right away which is meaningless lip service. They need to remodel the locker room, improve drainage, update the showers, update the PRODUCTS in the locker room to match the NEWER Lifetime locations...they have a lot of work to do at this very very old location.
If you have been to some of the gorgeous new Lifetime locations that have just opened in the past year or two - which is where I usually go - and then you come to Fairfax because you happen to be visiting family - you will be very disappointed in the differences. This place is gross. Far behind its sister locations.

GTX is offensively loud, you’ll have to blast your music to the maximum if you’re working out there during the morning, save a few areas like the locker room and steam rooms.
The shower situation and the choice of contractors this corporation has gone with for their remodeling is shameful. Don’t join with the expectation of working showers or a full gym floor.
I wouldn’t even bring my children, they let old men into the family locker room to shower when they have no children. It’s honestly a shame, the folks that work here and the staff seem top notch, but they corporation mailed in their renovations so hard, it’s difficult to ignore. And don’t go to Centreville hoping it’s any better, because those showers are out too. Best of luck.

Zero to 1--Some of the personal trainers are very good--however who ever oversees this place--allows ONE high level workout group (with maybe 6-7 people in the class), lead by a guy trainer w/ a microphone to DOMINATE the whole building on Friday mornings and some other days with SUPER blasty LOUD music and his barked out instructions-!!! Why do we have to endure this--all the while construction/renovations are going on--
...one snarky woman trainer kicked one of my fellow (70 YEARS OLD) workout mates off a treadmill because her class was going on (she had maybe 5 people max)....and said the treadmills were "reserved" --AT THAT TIME there were maybe 15 treadmills available--it makes zero sense--they don't get it.
Crappy situation with renovations (LOUD) going on since November 2023--and no consideration made to thank the current members in some way for putting up this disaster! Talk about tone deaf and dumb.

First off I was lied to over email by the membership team saying they had my preferred fitness equipment which was the only reason why I rejoined. I get here and it is nonexistent. Also this place is incredibly tiny and they have redesigned it for the senior citizen community. It looks like a gym at a retirement community. There are barely any treadmills. Mainly fitness studios and pickleball courts. It is not inclusive for the entire age demographic and their fitness goals. The facility also looks like construction site. Lifetime should be ashamed that they have left this location open. It doesn’t meet the lifetime requirements or the lifetime way. Incredibly disappointing and I wish there was a lifetime in Tyson’s. The good: great equipment, clean, plenty of towels and staff is friendly.
- the kids club staff is amazing, and they used to do a ton of kids activities like yoga and “sports drills;” sadly that has gone away, even with the increased dues.
- They have a solid pit squat now, and the new chest and back machines feel amazing.
- Plenty of cardio equipment, can always find an open stairs, even during peak time.
The bad: ever increasing dues to pay for renovations that you can’t use. They block off half the weight section for a group fitness class in prime time weekend hours, then steal all of the dumbbells…and of course harass you for getting “too close” to their group.
$200 a month for a gym that you can only use half of seems like poor math.

Fairfax is the worst Life Time gym we have been to.
We have had several unpleasant experiences at the Fairfax Life Time gym. The employees have vacuumed the pickleball courts during the times we were playing and even vacuuming the courts we were actively playing on, an hour before the gym closes. In another visit, an employee asked us to leave the court an hour before the gym closed, stating that pickleball ends before gym hours do. We have received mixed messages on this, with another gym employee saying that pickleball hours extend until the gym closes.
Our experiences have left us feeling like our presence during valid hours is unwelcome. We have regularly gone to the Gaithersburg and Gainesville Life Time gyms for months and have had great experiences consistently at both of them.
Edit on November 17, 2023:
I posted this review two weeks ago and soon after confirmed with more pickleball instructors that the courts remain open until closing time.
Life Time responded to this review 1 week ago with what you see attached to this review, but I saw no need to carry the conversation further due to the confirmed understanding between the pickleball staff having let the rest of the staff know the circumstances.
Today we were once again informed that we had overstayed as we left at 11:40pm (closing time was 12am), stating that the courts "close" one hour before the facilities close, even though we had the ability to reserve courts starting both at 11pm and 11:30pm. We mentioned that courts were reservable and this was challenged until we showed proof via the Life Time app, but the staff member still insisted that we were mistaken even after that.
It doesn't look like Life Time earnestly actions on reviews left here despite responding to each comment, and it looks like there is conflicting information being given between staff members as well as the Life Time app itself.

dear “lifetime owner”
You commenting on every dissatisfied members post is not good enough. You are not taking the necessary steps to keep us happy. “ please contact our team to best way to get in touch with you”? That’s such a lazy answer. You guys are emailing me just fine, notifying me of my increasing membership costs. My name is next to my post. You KNOW how to find me smh. You need to do better sir.

ive been a member of this location since it first opened. i believe its the first location in virginia. i agree with the last review about the price gouging. my membership was like 99$ (i believe?) but recently raised to around $150. i just received another email yesterday- telling me my rates are going to rise again! the employee who emailed me said it was $20 below new member rates. $20 BELOW NEW MEMBER RATES!?!? over the years, ive seen them renovate 2-3x. my experience hasnt gotten better, its been the same if not worse.
i also hate the fact that fairfax and centreville converted their basketball courts to pickleball. so i've been going to reston location because they still have at least 1 bball court.
but because of all this, i'm passively looking for a new gym to go to. the cost does not outweigh the reward....

Worst Lifetime in the entire chain and only getting worse... Been a lifetime member for 20 years and not sure why this location refuses to get competent leadership. Can't get massages at this location, took away basketball courts, and now no longer doing kid camps. This location always had the worst and smallest pool. For a brand that wants people to "hang out" there is nothing of any redeeming quality that makes you want to stay past the bare minimum of your workout - not sure why they got rid of LifeSpa. For a place that's constantly doing construction and displacing members, it still looks like the same mediocre setup.

Very good gym with nice bathrooms and showers but there is no place to just relax in the locker room anymore. The lounge was taken away for "construction" but its just there so they don't have any younger people hanging out in there which I think is completely unfair because they are also paying for the membership and not getting the full experience. My wife and I regularly workout and we have seen that most of the younger people have just resorted to hanging out near the free weights or the machines which can get crowded at times.

I was signed in as flex student member. They cancelled my membership bc they are not offering that membership anymore and without my permission they put me on digital membership and charging my card monthly for a service that I did not give permission. Fraud !!!
I trust them with my credit card information but they are not trustworthy.
Aside from this, the gym ( weight room ) is always packed, I have to stay in line to use the smith machine and others , their pool is dirty with Cloudy water , there is hair balls everywhere and group class's schedules are mostly for members who don’t work normal hours ( 9 to 5) or they have remote jobs.
Big name , fancy look with poor service. awful customer service and management.

It’s a good place in general but like other reviews said, if you have small kids and need to use family room, you will be around all kind of people getting into and using the only bathroom available, it’s despicable. On the other hand in the kids area they are amazing caring. It’s just really bad the familia bathroom

It's sad to observe that lifetime, as a health club advocate in fitness, promotes an unhealthy lifestyle by serving pizza in their events for kids and parents!!!
Pizza ...??? Seriously???
How lifetime can justify that ?!!!

I just re-joined because I love there café in the past I relight 80% on their meals for meal prep and it’s all I ate . They completely got rid of all meals at this location which is heartbreaking because I literally mostly came back to the gym because I like the convenience of the healthy meals that I actually liked . Not to mention that they increase the membership from what I used to pay by over 50% which I find completely bizarre. If you’re going to charge more at least don’t take away the things we like.

Nice facility. Lots of young people in the weight area (can get annoying sometimes cause they like to just hang around and socialize). Also, if you call to cancel, get ready cause they're gonna get a little pushy with you. Other than that, I love this place. There's no better gym out there if you just want nice amenities and to be left the hell alone to do your own workout.

This is a great facility. Clean and the staff is great. Pretty much anything you would want from a health club. Only issue I have is they have recently started to lock the studios in the evening/night. I work two jobs and I am unable to make the early morning or daytime classes that is held in the studios. I normally go at 8pm and would like to use the studios. When I asked the concierge he said they locked it because people were “stealing” equipment and they have “no” cameras. That’s false, they have cameras in both studios, if people are stealing then address them directly. The memberships here are pretty expensive and we should have access to the club’s amenities and equipment during operational hours, we all shouldn’t be denied access because of a couple bad apples…

Been a member here for more than 7 years. Prior to COVID it was a 24 hour fitness center, now not only have the hours been reduced but the already HIGH rate has increased after COVID. So they cut the hours back and raised the price… seems legit.
Also, the ladies locker bathrooms almost always need attention. The stalls and floors are dirty 80% of the time.
I have always loved that there is a cafe, but it too is now super over priced. I no longer buy my protein shakes here after working out, instead I go to Tropical smoothie or stop at the supermarket next door and make them at home. The quality for pricing is ridiculous.
The training staff is great. I dislike that they removed the spa services especially for Fairfax doesn’t make much sense. Pool is small and over crowded and when the kids come into the gym to play basketball they leave it a mess and it seems some of them aren’t even members but get in because of their friends daily when you are only allowed two passes a month.
It would also be great if someone walked the floors periodically to observe the experience members receive like ensuring there is always sanitizer, sanitizing sprays for machines and wipes available.
Also, to be sure that there aren’t people just taking over an area or machine for hours. Very often people leave their stuff by a machine while they are working out at another machine and when you go to it they say they are in between machines and get annoyed with you interrupting their set. One guy literally decided he was going to do pullups over me because I was working out on the tricep pull downs and he just came back from 4 machines in his set. After kicking me in the back I told him he can’t take over the whole area. He got into it with another member that wanted to use equipment he had in his series also.
Another member was laying on the crunch machine watching Netflix and after 40 mins I asked if they were almost finished and they said not yet. It’s kind of annoying when no one is watching what’s happening and maintaining a good experience for this 5 star club that costs $200 a month.
The toughest workout in the gym apparently is being able to clean the equipment after you use it and put your weights back. The price went up experience down. It’s walking distance to my house and being a member for almost 10 years has kept me here along with the basketball court access, but even now that’s challenging at times and has me thinking of looking for an alternative gym.

The gym itself comes with all brand new equipments and is super clean.
The staff, however, is super rude and disrespectful. It was our first time today and we went to check out the Pilate Studio. Note that the door is wide open, there's no classes going on at the time and it's empty, also there is absolutely no sign noting that the studio is for group classes only. 5 minutes in, this older lady walked in and basically kicked us out, which is totally fine. The issue is that she conducted the message in an extremely rude manner and basically told us to they don't want people to come in and "fool around" straight to our faces. Seriously - FOOL AROUND? If that is not an insult, I don't know what else is.
I have never experienced anything similar in any other locations. Extremely disappointed in Life Time. Please do not allow such intolerable behavior from your staff to further damage the gym's reputation any further. It is a really decent gym after all.

Love all Lifetime Gyms. This one has most of it's cardio equipment upstairs. I'd prefer to have additional benches in the dumbbell area. Staff and patrons seem to be friendlier than other LT locations. There's fewer group classes offered than other Lifetime locations although still lots of options are available. Parking is easy at this location considering the parking lot is shared w several retail store, which is convenient for me to workout. Then take care of any shopping needs while there too.

The weight room / Cardio area is tidy & clean.
However I am not sure if it the members or the ones servicing the locker rooms but I usually find them to be rather filthy.
Most Spas’ have strict guidelines on what a member can and cannot do in showers/hand washing areas.
Sometimes I have found myself skipping out on amenities due to lack of up keep.
I am also not a fan of sauna / Jacuzzi areas being unisex.
Weight room / Cardio / classes are good, just wish the locker rooms were better maintained.

Nice gym. Gotten the members bc of my child's summer camp. Being a member gives discount to the camp. Very friendly staff. New members get perks like one hour of personal trainer, four swimming lesson for my child, on demand at home exercise video, etc. However membership is expensive. Would not have gotten it if it were for my son's summer camp.
I really like their children locker room where they have individual shower the kids. It was nice for my son to wash off after swimming. He also really enjoy their summer camp.
But for strictly gym membership, you could find cheaper ones elsewhere. Although I heard other lifetime locations have better facility than the Fairfax one.

Its pretty nice, typical lifetime experience, some nice people who are there just to get a good workout, some there just to socialize and hog the equipment, some meat heads with excessive tattoos and egos who think theyre tough but have probably never played a contact sport in their lives :) All in all its a nice newer facility with tall ceilings which makes it feel bigger than it actually is. Squat racks and benches always seem to be in use while half of the equipment just sits and collects dust... most folks appear respectful and nice though.

Darren at the front even went as far to ask how my shoulder was after I had an injury!
Customer service is a huge reason as to why I will stay with a gym, the main reason I left my old gym was because of the horrible customer service they provided! Way to go on your amazing team and very cleanly facility! I'll be staying at Lifetime for a ...LIFETIME!

I am taken back and highly upset of the way I have been treated at life time from the daycare center. There seems to be an issue a few times I drop my son off at daycare and I’m being called to pick him up. It’s gotten to the point that when someone in daycare knows I’m dropping my son off, they tell me they are full. This behavior is done intentionally and I’m very upset about it. This evening, I had schedule for both my boys to be at daycare but when I called to confirm, they said their names were not on the list. I had reserved their spots so I know they were on the list. I feel disrespected and discriminated against. I’m a paying member and do not deserve this behavior. I would welcome a readout of the measures being taken by Lifetime.
