I have served my country for 26 years. In all of those 26 years, I thought I was working my entire body out. The workouts I participate in, at MADabolic, have showed me how inadequate those workouts were. At MADabolic, I am working parts of my body that were neglected throughout the years. MADabolic Winchester – First Impressions (Spoiler: I love it)

I joined MADabolic Winchester two weeks ago, and I already get why people are obsessed.

The workouts are intense but super intentional. Each day has a clear purpose—Momentum, Anaerobic, or Durability—and the structure actually makes sense (even if I had to Google “anaerobic” on day one). You’re not just randomly flailing around to burn calories—this program is designed with purpose.

The coaches at the Winchester location are phenomenal. They don’t just demo the moves and disappear—they actually coach. I’ve had form corrections, encouragement, and just the right amount of “you got this."

And the vibe is so welcoming! No mirrors. No egos. No one taking gym selfies in the corner. Just real people showing up and working hard. The work-outs are tough, but the group is down-to-earth, and somehow we still have fun—even when our legs are on fire.

I’m only two weeks in, so I’m not going to pretend I’ve had a full-body transformation (yet), but I already feel better just being there. If you’re looking for a place that’s grounded, challenging, and genuinely well-run, MADabolic Winchester is definitely worth checking out.

Okay, so MADabolic Winchester, yeah... I'm officially hooked. The workout itself is tough but amazing—a great blend of strength training and intervals that will push you to your limits in the moment (You'll want to die, but like in a good way). What truly stands out is the exceptional coaching and vibrant atmosphere. The trainer I've most consistently taken classes from is Lydia. Let me tell you, Lydia is fantastic: she pays close attention to everyone's form, offers great modifications and progressions as needed, and consistently makes her classes motivating.

The space is clean, super well-equipped, and very energetic. The best part? The lights are dim, and the music is so loud you can't hear yourself hyperventilate; plus, they provide clear instructions, allowing you to fully focus on each movement.

The owners, Cait and Shawn, are super welcoming and helpful. They made getting started so easy, and Cait personally followed up with me to check in after my first few classes which was such a thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about the positive culture here. It's evident that Cait and Shawn are deeply committed to providing the best possible experience for their members. I highly, highly recommend MADabolic.

MADabolic is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I had been searching for a group setting program because I didn’t feel comfortable left to my own devices in a gym. I had previously worked with a trainer, but it was less days and far more money that way. Madabolic allows me to come as often as I want at an affordable rate and is a MUCH harder push on the work out than I had ever had before, nor would I ever achieve on my own.

50 minute classes are challenging and intense, friendly trainers are knowledgeable and hands on with getting my form right for maximum effectiveness and encouraging me to get the best out of my workout. Madabolics has been nothing but excellence so far. I've never been one to join group workout related gyms outside of MMA. Madabolics came out to the area and gave free classes outside to gain traction. My wife (27 weeks and still madding out) and I got addicted right off the go. Great atmosphere. I have been with MADabolic for 5 months (since they opened). Before that, I hadn't participated in structured workouts in about 14 years. I never liked going to the gym and working out at home always felt pointless. At the gym, I felt kind of clueless and bored and a bit lonely. MADabolic is NOTHING like a normal gym in that sense.

I think about nothing (love this!)... I show up and the workouts are already planned (and planned well!) and set up. All I have to do is follow instructions.

The classes are intentionally pretty small allowing for great personal coaching and instruction whenever needed. I also like that, although everyone is working out at the same time, there is no pressure to compete with your neighbor, and no other people working out are really watching/judging you. There is NO waiting around for equipment or for someone else to finish.

Each class time seems to come with a pretty great core group of regulars and the vibe is always positive and energetic. The focus of each class is strength and progress.

Something cool I've noticed which I love is that the coaches give special attention to new members and members with injuries. I've seen coaches check in on members with certain injuries on multiple occasions to offer them alternative exercises.

I've also noticed that the coaches take time to learn everyones name and be genuinely interested in the "person" vs just their attendance to the class.

Overall I am insanely happy. Both with the environment that has been created and my own noticeable increase in strength and confidence. Never have I ever said "Oh! I need to make sure I schedule my gym classes for the week!" until I joined MADabaolic. A program that truly made it easy to commit to, even on days where you feel too tired.

There’s nothing I can say that hasn’t been mentioned in every other review. The facility-top notch. The trainers-knowledgeable and motivating. The members- amazing. It’s one thing to get an awesome workout from a great coach, but to get to be there with so many new friends who share a passion for fitness….priceless.

Now to some results base reviewing. I’ve held my five stars out until the end of a full 12 week cycle because I wanted to give an honest review. Over the last 12 weeks I followed closely to the 50 minutes 4x per week MAD method. I am now faster, stronger and generally happier, lifting weights that I have never imagined lifting on my own.

As a long time runner I know strength training is imperative to efficient running, but have been stuck in my head for years. After 12 weeks at MADabolic I’ve shaved three minutes off of my average 5k time (so far), lost 2% body fat and gained an immeasurable amount of confidence and strength.

MADabolic is the real deal. The programming and coaching makes it easy to show up and do the work without having to ever second guess yourself.

Forever thankful to Shawn, Cait and Lydia for bringing this to our community. It’s just what we needed.

Prior to coming here I refused to come to a gym in the area. However, my first session with MADabolic changed my mind! I've only been attending for a month and some change, but I already love this place. The trainers are very personable and have eyes on everyone during the guided workouts. They ensure you're completing each exercise using proper form ( judgement free when form isn't right-- just help correct) and with accommodations if necessary. I joined MADabolic in December and just completed their first 12 week strength cycle and just under 50 classes. As someone who joined less than a year postpartum with 2 babies under 2, there were a couple of things I really liked about MAD from the beginning. The workouts are approachable - I never wanted to feel like I was beating my body up for the sake of “improving”, and I never have. It’s also incredibly sustainable. I walk away from the workouts knowing that I’ve put the work in, but not feeling like I have nothing left to give to my kids. I’ve lost weight - and not an insignificant amount - but what I’ve gained has been so much greater. I’m stronger, I have more energy for my personal life, I sleep better, and I genuinely appreciate the things I’m able to do. Now others in my life have started to notice, saying that I look “healthy, strong, unrecognizable”. 10/10 absolutely recommend.
