FOR PARENTS OF BABIES, I attended the “Move Together” class that is designed for kids 3 months to 6 years according to their website. I’m writing this to help parents with babies under the age of 1 know that it wasn’t an environment I’d be bringing my son back to. I think they should make a note that all ages are welcome (like if you are bringing your toddler and happen to have a baby) but to make the public aware that it’s more for older kids. During our time there, most of the activities were of course designed for the older kids, which is totally fine, but my son (9 months) was the youngest there and most kids were older so it felt like we had to find a place in the corner to not get run over in. Even though watching my son closely, a 3 year old ran over and looked at my baby on the ground, slapped him and ran away. That is in no way My Gym’s fault, just an example to let you know that it’s probably not a safe class for your infant. Additionally, it was the first time I had brought my son to something like this as we spend a lot of time at home and we both came down with COVID a couple days after. I personally won’t be returning as it felt to be too rough of an environment for a baby and although I know it must be hard to sanitize everything there, I’d be less worried about a toddler getting sick because they can tell you what’s wrong, but I’m turned off from going back with my baby because it was the only outing we had gone to and are both down bad with sickness. Anyways, giving 3 stars because it’s not completely My Gym’s fault, I’d just recommend they change their age ranges or add a caveat to let parents of infants know that it’s not a great place for them unless they are tagging along with a sibling.

We have been celebrating my son’s birthday for 2 years now at My Gym Virginia Beach. They have been amazing each and every time! My son loves all the activities that they plan for him and his friends. The staff is great with set up and clean up, they take care of everything, decorating with all the decor I took in, set up food, drinks, cake and goody bags. They also play music during the celebration and all songs are great and on theme. They truly make the party planning super easy. We will continue to celebrate our sons birthdays there as long as possible

We love MyGym! Over the last year or so we have seen our son grow in his confidence and skills as the friendly staff has made a difference in encouraging him to push himself and show him how strong he really is. The communication and friendliness of the staff has kept us coming back and recommending MyGym to family and friends. We know our son is growing, safe, and having fun whenever he goes to his classes. My 4yo son has been at MyGym since he was about 20 months old. What started as an effort to help him get some large motor wiggles out has turned into a valuable part of weekend routine. I’ve seen him grow in confidence and physical ability. The teachers are so kind and patient and engaging with the kids. It’s been a great find for us.

We’ve been coming to My Gym for several years now, and it has truly become a special part of our lives. My toddler’s gross motor skills have grown tremendously thanks to the fun, engaging classes and the supportive, knowledgeable instructors. Beyond the physical development, we’ve made so many wonderful friends here—both my child and I have found a real sense of community. It’s a place where we always feel welcomed, encouraged, and inspired to play, learn, and grow. We’re so grateful to be part of it!

We have been coming to Mygym for a while and love the classes and open gym. Lately it has been very hot in the building which has had me concerned for myself and baby. I’ve talked to other moms and they feel the same and said they’ve mentioned it but nothings changed. Please fix the AC to make the experience enjoyable, for the cost of the membership the environment should be comfortable for everyone.

We dropped by this location on a whim to check it out. I chatted briefly with Diane (boss lady) who was very kind. She game me helpful info about the location. I appreciated the paper, and not being told to look it up online.
There was a birthday party at the time. I didn't want to intrude, but my one year old had other plans. He wanted to play with the little kids. The woman (who I assume) was the birthday boy's mom was so kind. She came over and said, "does your little one want a picture with Bluey?" We got some photos and he played for about ten minutes with the birthday kids. The family was very kind and patient with the complete strangers who crashed the party. We're from Northern VA so kind people are foreign to me. Lol. Anyway - thank you!
Ok, back to the location. The pricing is reasonable. It was clean. We'll definitely be back.

My daughter has been going to My Gym for 5 months now and she loves it. The staff is amazing. They greet her by name every time she walks in. She looks forward to circle time and hanging with her friends. We drive 30 mins to class and open gym and it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend My Gym.

First time coming in. I had signed my children up online for the Memorial Day camp. We were greeted by a guy behind the desk. He provided socks & that was all. Didn't ask for my kids names or ages. So the kids go play. Then I hear the staff calling out "if you're in my group then get your things & come over here". So again this our first time coming there so I wasn't aware of any groups. I didn't want my kids left out so I asked for clarity what was happening. The same guy was starting to annoy me the way he was answering my questions. My questions were "hey what are the groups, what are you guys about to do & were my children placed in groups" A young girl stepped to answer my questions & she provided way more straight to the point answers like THANK YOU that's all I wanted. Idk what was with the guy. But still another lady & her kid came in & she was greeted, asked her kid name & age & was told what was happening at the moment, that the kid was in her group & he could go do arts & crafts if wanted to cause he just missed it. The young lady greeted them. My children didn't get that same treatment. I wish she had greeted us, she was nice. Idk if im bringing my children back to that place.

We had my sons 2nd birthday here and we had so much fun!!! Diane and her staff are super attentive and sweet. They answered all of our questions and the day of they made sure the party went smooth. We loved that the entire party they brought out fun new things for all the kids to play with. Thank you for making my sons second birthday such an awesome experience! We celebrated my daughters 3rd birthday here on Sunday & I was amazed with the entire experience from them helping take some of the stress off of me by doing set up/clean up to the different interactive things they did with the kids! We had a range of ages from 1.5-5 years old at the party and every child was able to be included in the activities! Plus the staff was super kind & made every kid feel special! I highly recommend this place & can’t wait for my kids to go back!

We had my daughter’s 3rd birthday here on 4/30 and it was GREAT! The staff is so wonderful. I had a million questions which they answered so nicely each time. The staff decorated before the party, entertained the kids during the party and did all the clean up. I cannot express how impressed I am with everything about this place. I had an idea of how I wanted the decorations put up and they happily listened to my ideas and followed through on the day of the party. The kids had non-stop fun for 1.5 hours. I highly recommend My Gym!

First time visiting. One staff member was rude to my son. She interacted with all the other kids but when my son tried talking to her and she rolled her eyes and walked away. There was about 6 kids total there. Not worth $20 for my kid to be treated like he shouldn't be there. Besides that my son did have fun playing
Yes I knew it was free play which me and my older daughter were both there. We played with him....but doesn't give staff who was talking and interacting with other kids dhe the right to be rude to my child who is very friendly and loves people

MyGym hosted my kid's 6th birthday party and it couldn't have went better. The facility was great and the staff handled everything. There was time for the kids to play but also well-paced, structured events. The staff was attentive and helped the kids as they needed it. They handled serving the food and clean up. Very happy with the entire experience, if you're looking for a place to host a child's birthday this is it.

This place is awesome! My daughter absolutely loves it and the teachers. I did have her birthday party there and Omar and Antoinette were great. The other parents were amazed and also have started going as well. Parents night out is a blast for my daughter and its nice not worrying about how they are doing. My daughter never wants to leave.

I absolutely love this place. Just went today for my granddaughter's birthday. The girls there were so helpful. They set up fun games for the kids to play, helped us serve food and cleaned up. And we had the whole place to ourselves!! Such a fun place and the kids were exhausted afterwards. Highly recommended.

Great place for birthday parties. Have not been for any classes, but 2 bday parties and counting. The staff is great and they do a great job with their wrangling of the crazies...you know, your children. I would recommend to anyone in the area. Right next door to Sprout children’s boutique.

My children have been going to My Gym at Hilltop for a few months and they absolutely love it. Every staff member seems to truly enjoy their job and the children. We recently celebrated my son's 2 year old birthday there and I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff works so hard to make sure that the kids have fun and that things run smoothly. I would recommend anyone to give them a try.

My daughter loves going here and I am truly sad that soon we will have to cancel because we are moving to another state. The staff are great and they have helped my little girl become a fearless social butterfly as well as helping her get ready for school by helping her sit in one place, follow rules, and pay attention. She does an art class that she's loves and a regular gym class that she goes crazy for. She is constantly asking when we get to go to her classes almost every day. Best place ever to go!

We started at My Gym when my daughter was 2.5. Now she is 3 and although we are cancelling for the time being, we hope to be back. She absolutely adores the teachers, has done well in the class, and loves the various skills she learns and friends she makes.

We paid $65 a month with a military discount, which is by far the least inexpensive in the area. We tried all of the places that offered similar courses for young children and we weren't impressed at all. My Gym was our last place to try and by far the best.

I deducted a star because the "make-up" process is a pain. We went on vacation for two weeks and missed two classes. When I went to use them for make-ups, the system let me register for classes my daughter would be a month shy of "qualifying" for and classes that were not actually taking place. Only one of the other classes she was currently enrolled in were available to register a makeup for, which was really inconvenient. So basically, if you have a makeup, don't expect to really use it. We made do and I'm having our babysitter take her since I can't take off work to take her to these. I was disappointed I was told it wouldn't be an issue to use one on the next class up, since she would be so close in age, and in this class when we returned in the fall, but in fact I wasn't allowed to.

Anyway, we love the teachers, love the class, love the experience. We hope to be back in the fall if they have any openings. I hope they expand their offerings because as they stand right now, there doesn't appear to be enough or of the right balance.
