Naxos Strength & Conditioning is a private training studio located in Arlington, VA. We were tired of the commercial gym personal training model, so we've developed a better training experience. We offer private training for both everyday people and competitive athletes. Train in a private space loaded with high-end equipment, the latest tech, and at price better than the competition! 1st session is completely free, no commitment, no BS, and no strings attached!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Solid 5 out of 5. Sam is the best trainer I’ve ever worked with.

I started with him in October 2024 after being out of the gym for over four years. I was out of shape, frustrated with how I looked and felt, and honestly a little intimidated to start again. But Sam made it easy. No judgment. Just support, structure, and smart training that actually works.

He trains with purpose. Every movement has intent. You’re not just burning calories, you’re building real strength, mobility, and confidence. I’m just stronger now. I’m lifting heavy, muscle definition is showing, and I can clearly see how much my body has changed over the past few months. I feel like myself again.

And beyond the training, Sam’s just a great person. Easy to talk to, brings good energy, and might be a low-key chef. Ask about his recipes. I’ve been waiting on that cookbook for months. (Still waiting, Sam 👀)

I moved out of the area recently, but I still plan to train with him whenever I’m back in town. That’s how much I value working with him.

If you’ve been thinking about it, take the step. Getting started was the hardest part, but it’s easily one of the best decisions I’ve made.

My sessions with Sam are hard but I always leave with a great sense of accomplishment. I have been working out with Sam for over a couple of years and I feel better than I had in a very long time. Sam customizes my workout sessions and does an excellent job adjusting to all kinds of factors and circumstances (e.g., when I miss a few sessions due to travel or injury, or when I have shown good progress and need to be challenged) and focusing on my needs (e.g., preparing me for my soccer comeback after many years without playing). He is very knowledgeable about fitness and provides advice on a holistic way about diet, mindfulness, dealing with stress, etc. A great experience and a real bargain.
