The Joy of Joining the Gym: A Personal Journey
There is no doubt that going to the gym is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It's a commitment to your physical and mental well-being, and a wonderful way to establish a healthy routine. Let me share with you why I love going to the gym and how it has become an indispensable part of my life.
First and foremost, the trainers at my gym, NLA Gym, are exceptional. They are experienced, motivating, and disciplined. Trainers like Jessica (Jess) and Lauren have been instrumental in my fitness journey. They ensure that each trainee cultivates healthy habits, providing guidance and support every step of the way. Their encouragement and expertise have made a significant difference in my progress and I am grateful for their dedication.
Being part of the gym community has also played a crucial role. The camaraderie and support from my gym friends have made the experience enjoyable and rewarding. We share our challenges and celebrate our successes together, creating a positive and encouraging environment.
Starting a new habit is never easy, and achieving goals takes time and persistence. However, once you see the progress, you realize how quickly time flies. My journey with the gym began three and a half years ago. What started as a new habit has now seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. The sense of accomplishment and the positive changes in my health and fitness keep me motivated to continue.
In conclusion, joining the gym has been one of the best decisions I have made for myself. It has not only improved my physical health but also provided me with a sense of discipline and achievement. I am grateful to Jess, Lauren, and all my friends at NLA Gym for their support and inspiration. Remember, every journey begins with a single step, and with time and dedication, you can achieve your goals and create a lasting, healthy routine.

Joining NLA was one of the best things I have done for my health. No matter what level of fitness you are at, they know how to train you. I started with the goal of increasing my endurance and strength for long-haul hikes. During my first year there, I got injured (not from working out) and found myself very limited in what I was able to do. Lauren and Jess helped me keep moving and found ways I could still work out with my limitations.
I would highly recommend NLA to anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive environment to reach their fitness goals. The trainers are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and it shows in the quality of service they provide.

Highly recommend New London Athletics for anyone looking for a smaller gym with options of working with a personal trainer, flexibility to work on your own with guidance from a trainer. The trainers at NLA are very knowledgeable and will work with each individual to help them reach their goals!

Lauren and her team take a gentle, consistent, and personalized approach to their training methods. My time at New London Athletics has been such a gift, especially during pregnancy. New London Athletics is a top notch gym. Brady (B Sho) is my wifes cousin has offered to train me in the past, but I never took him up on the offer. Well, I finally did and it has been great. Within the first few minutes of being there I was able to tell that this was someone with passion for what they were doing. I was also impressed with his ability to connect with everyone who was working out. I have not had any experiences with the other trainers but they all have been friendly and I look forward to trying one of their bootcamps in the future. If you considering trying out New London Athletics or have never tried personal training, I encourage you to try them.
