Nate is awesome! My sons (10&14) get personal training here from him. They are making leaps and bounds literally in their progress. Both play football and basketball. There has been a lot of growth in their agility and power. Plus they really enjoy the atmosphere and being around the other athletes. Keep it up Noble!

For years I have enjoyed running, competing horses and more recently playing tennis but prefer to be outside so have never belonged to a gym. As I've gotten older, I felt I really needed to work on my strength both for my long term health and also for my competitive tennis matches. A friend recommended Noble Athletics in Purcellville so I decided to give it a try and I have loved every minute. Classes are offered but I started with Personal Training since I am such a beginner. Nathan, one of the owners, designs workouts for me and is there to make sure I'm doing everything correctly to avoid injury. He understands the needs of athletes across various sports (including horses and tennis). Some of the exercises he's had me do I have seen tennis pros doing as they warmup for big matches. I am dealing with tennis elbow so he also has specific suggestions for how to build strength without making it worse. Nathan and his wife set the tone for the gym and it is nothing but welcoming and encouraging. Run, don't walk, to Noble Athletics in Purcellville!!

Noble was recommended to me by a neighbor who has been a member for a few years. Given I am a gym novice, I had some reservation as to whether or not I could keep up. I had nothing to worry about, the experience has been fantastic. Nathan is organized and prepared for my arrival. I am challenged by the workouts but never so much that I feel I am in over my head. Nathan is there to explain not only how each exercise is correctly executed but what muscles are activated, how it works toward my goals, and how the elevate the exercise once ready. He ensures I cool down and stretch properly. In terms of environment, the gym is very clean and well designed making it easy to find and utilize the necessary equipment. They also have an area for younger children to safely play so that you can bring your kids if needed. I happily recommended Noble to another friend who has also become a satisfied member as well.

Great gym! Everyone is very welcoming, and regardless of your abilities, you don’t feel intimidated! I am doing the personal training and Nathan has been so great at evaluating my baseline and then providing exercises and opportunities to increase my strengths and abilities.
In addition to the personal training, I signed up for Nutrition coaching with Laura. It has been so helpful to learn how to fuel my body with the right foods, while not feeling restricted. It has been a mental shift that I have finally been able to make and the improvements I feel in my overall health and wellness are well worth it.
My only regret is that I was too afraid to seek out personal training and nutrition coaching sooner. It has made such a positive impact on my wellbeing and for the first time ever, I look forward to going to workout!

He and Laura run an amazing small business where they walk the walk, talk the talk. And that talk is positive! I didn’t want to bulk up, I just wanted to tighten. Nathan has given positive instruction, positive attitudes and positive results. I wish I could give Noble Athletics a positive ten star review. Only allowed five, but those are a strong five stars.

Joining Noble was one of the best decisions I have made! I didn't think I was cut out for weightlifting and I was totally intimidated by going to the gym, but as soon as I started at Noble, I found out that working out can be FUN! I feel really lucky to have found Noble. I tried out a couple of other places in the area but I couldn’t quite find the right fit. I have a toddler and I work full time, and Noble is the first place where I have felt like I had understanding and support about finding the spaces in my life to start fitting workouts back in. I found it instantly less intimidating to start picking up weights and trying new things.
Nate is a phenomenal coach and is really attentive about offering the right level of a movement, offering an alternate when it’s needed, and pushing you to keep improving for yourself. He also makes the gym fun and somewhere you really want to be!
I’m now doing personal training twice a week and it has brought love of exercise back into my life. Those two sessions are some of the high points of my week, and now I am in the routine I find myself making time to move every day because I want to, and because I see such a purpose in it to show up for my kid, and set a good example to them.
I’ve also joined their nutrition program, and I can honestly say it is the first time where I have changed my eating habits in a way that feels sustainable. After gaining many, many pounds during pregnancy, and never quite losing the last 20, i was stuck in a rut of 4 weeks of a new diet followed by losing momentum and it all coming back.
Using their program. I don’t ever feel hungry and I don’t get urges to binge food anymore. Laura is an expert at what she does, is so responsive, and is great at breaking things down and making the program easy to follow. My weight is going down in a sustainable way, and I can feel muscle building every week. It’s awesome.
If I could give Noble 10 stars, I would.

Having joined noble a couple months ago, it’s serisouly one of the best desicisons I have ever made. I joined primarily to get better in my sport, volleyball, and to get better in physical fitness over all. The results I have had are amazing and I feel better after every workout. The coaches, and spefically Nate, really care about teaching you proper form to feel great and look great. I can tell they trully care to see progress and i am definetly seeing it. My HS coach during our pre-season the other day asked me “How did you get your serve be so strong?” I told her I had joined Noble and she was amazed to see how far I had come. By far the best gym around. Having been part of the functional fitness community for more than a decade, former CF coach and helped open a box, I can ensure you this is a top notch group of coaches and members alike. This by far is at the top of all the yams I've worked out in and trainers with whom I've trained. The trainers are all specifically trained in functional movement, proper power lifting skills and so much more. I've been to gyms that were horrifying before and I'm very picky about where I train. Hands down, top notch and recommend it to everyone. Newbies to seasoned athletes like me always learn something new, how to refine and perfect etc. Love it!

I joined about 4 months ago as a complete novice and thanks to coaches like Molly, I'm seeing good improvements in strength and endurance. Best coaches. Best gym. Best results!! Before noble, I thought I was working out and getting fit but I was truly not living up to my potential at all.
I was super intimidated to join at first but all of the coaches and members are so supportive and welcoming! Laura, Nate, Eric, Mike, Lisa, Tiffany & Paul are the best!! They’re always willing to explain things to you and really help you with your form.
I already feel stronger and have learned so many new things/lifted heavier than I ever have. If you really want to make the most of your training, do nutrition with Laura! She’s been so great at walking me through the process of tracking macros and meeting your goals.
If you’re stuck in a “gym” rut, come try noble. You’ll love the group workouts and the people there! 10/10. Highly recommend. I’m so glad I came to noble on a whim and I’m sure you’ll feel the same too!!

I started Noble 1 1/2 years ago, when I was in very poor shape. At the time, Nate, Mike and Eric worked with me, each day, to get me back in shape enough to play with my 7 year old son without getting tired.
They worked closely with me to help me participate in each workout with knee injuries. Their coach, Molly, worked with me over Quaranteen, to get my knees to bend past parallel!!!
I never thought I'd last a year, let alone almost 2. The members and coaches are so friendly, helpful and are now family.

I have been a member at numerous gyms over 20+ years of committed and sometimes not so committed workout routines. I have been a member of higher end / mainstream fitness centers and also smaller facilities with coaching. I have never experienced anything close to the family I’ve found at Noble. (Purcellville) From ownership to coaches the level of support and knowledge is unmatched. They challenge YOU to better YOURSELF. There is no pressure to do anything but show up snd give your best. I am so happy I joined Noble. Starting was intimidating for me considering I had only lifted a barbell twice in my life! After only 2.5 months I have lost over 14 inches and can not believe how much stronger I feel. This is not your typical gym. It’s almost like having a personal trainer each time. The owners and all of the coaches are extremely well trained and passionate about what they do. Each workout is unique and customizable to your fitness level and goals with emphasis on technique, strength, flexibility and safety. Seriously nothing is overlooked. I am also doing their nutrition coaching. Laura has created a macro program very specific to my needs. She provides support and guidance every step of the way to ensure you succeed and help you on your way to making better food choices for life. Another major bonus is the gym has garage doors that are open while class is in session allowing a lot of fresh air flow which makes me feel better with the current Covid-19 situation... not to mention all of the equipment is very well sanitized after each use. I never thought I would be so excited to workout! This is my forever gym! 🏋🏻♂️

I LOVE this place! I really thrive with having a set workout to do each day in a group environment and trainers to make sure you’re doing the exercises correctly and at the appropriate level for you. Everyone is so encouraging and friendly, I look forward to going to class everyday. No more going to a regular gym and not knowing what to do or how to push myself, no more boredom! Investing in your health is extremely important and this place is very reasonably priced and well worth every penny. I wish I would’ve started sooner!

External motivation has always been bigger to me than internal. My son really wants to do a short backpacking trip on the Appalachian trail. Having spinabifida and hydrocephalus, this can be a bit of a challenge for me. Not wanting to step down from being dad, I enlisted the help of Mike at Noble Athletics. I started 2 weeks ago on a meal plan and regular fitness routine. All of the exercises are geared toward the goal of backpacking. Low impact strength training and lots of cardio. Today I’m down 9 pounds and completing the full hour work out. Thanks Mike and the staff at Noble Athletics!

Whatever your fitness goals, the knowledgeable and friendly staff at Noble will absolutely help you make that happen. Wanna be faster? Wanna be stronger? Wanna be bigger? Wanna be smaller? Wanna lift a bag of dog food or wrangle a wild toddler without wrenching your back? The programs at Nobel can help you achieve that. The atmosphere is encouraging and fun. The staff is caring, knowledgeable (and possess degrees, certifications, and competition experience to back up that knowledge), and helpful. Class size is small enough that you get 1:1 feedback during every work out, but big enough that you have the camaraderie and support to get you through some of the more difficult workouts. None of the staff is pushy, they're all there to support YOUR goals, and they all truly care about the athletes working out there. As a woman in my mid 40's with two young kids, a husband, a demanding job, and some health issues, I've found this to be the best fit for me in a town loaded with options. Give Nate and Laura a try - you'll be thrilled you did!

I came to Noble after 20 years of self-guided fitness and strength training that was continually interrupted by injury and recovery from poor form and lack of coaching.
