My daughter has attended NMG since she was six and has been part of the competition team for six years.
She not only has learned gymnastics skills, she has gained confidence, communication and leadership skills! The coaches challenge the kids to be better!

The facility is nice enough and the coaches are kind and knowledgeable, however it isn’t a great place for young kids who are simply interested in trying gymnastics for fun. The owner is quite stern and even went so far as to call my 6-year-old “a baby” in front of the class because he wasn’t waiting quietly for his turn. (He was talking to a friend seated next to him.) He felt so embarrassed that he didn’t want to finish the classes. It was his first time trying a sport and we were hoping he’d have a positive experience. I have heard it’s the place to go if your child wants to compete, but again not the best spot for kids who are just trying out a new sport for fun.

We are so lucky to have this gym and instructors in our area! We have tried a few gymnastics classes for our young daughter and NMG is top-notch! Our daughter has already learned so much and LOVES Coach Chip! They were tremendously accommodating without schedule needs as well!

All of my kids have attended North Mountain Gymnastics, since before they moved to this newer, larger facility, and this is one of the best kept local secrets of Broadway. Chip and her coaches are amazingly adept at getting kids at any level to rise to the occasion and improve their abilities, and themselves at the same time. I am always amazed it doesn't cost much, much more.
I should also mention that their birthday parties are very fun and also a tremendous value.
