The experience was ok but not impressive, especially considering the high cost. I’ve found better establishments in Virginia at much lower prices. For the membership fee, there aren’t many real benefits or perks. The equipment is sometimes arranged in awkward locations, the quality varies, and staff organization/attitude feels inconsistent. Overall, it doesn’t present itself as a consistently professional establishment. That said, the team does seem to be at bare minimum trying, and respect for that. This reflection was put together at the time of my membership here, and is not a reflection of what the gym may currently be.

L choice of which machines to get rid of and which to replace them with. Test the machines before you commit!

Fantastic gym with every piece of equipment you could ask for. Whether you're into powerlifting, cross fit, a novice just getting into fitness, cardio. Seriously they have everything! Surprisingly big inside. Luanne at the front desk is super friendly and helpful.

Would give 5 stars if they fixed their speakers!

Solid gym, staff is great, but a little on the rundown side. Speakers are blown, some walls are busted, but the equipment all works, and there is a decent amount of it. Lots of options.

Why is it a highschool weight room? Does the football team not have a gym at the school?

Update from my prior post. I worked out at 5pm on 2/13/23 with my daughter. 5 students (boys) were wrestling, using foul language, and never picked up a weight. I am ok with socializing. I am not ok with foul language, or hanging out in the locker room. I am probably going to cancel my contract if things do not change.

Overall I like this gym. Never too crowded. Also the fact it's 24/7 is nice. Only thing I don't like is that the hip thruster machine has gone missing. Always loved using it as a burnout at the end of a leg workout, as it allowed for a deeper range of motion than using a barbell. Overall I'd recommend this place to anybody.

I have been going to gyms for 35 years and this is the best gym I ever had the pleasure of using. Large workout areas, the best cardio machines, extremely pleasant atmosphere. Fantastic! Love!

Smells like sweat, rust and is situated literally right above the liquor store.

The place is very good the only thing I don’t like is that Barely anyone cleans the machines after they have used it I think they should take that into consideration because no one wants to be working out in other people’s sweat

The only downside is the gym should expand. The owners and people are fantastic and the gym has a good mix of equipment. I can train hard-nosed for powerlifting events and then work bodybuilding programs when recovering from competition. Good place. Good people. Good community. Good training.

Avoid this place if you’re an alcoholic. The only thing you’ll train here is self control. The liquor store is literally downstairs.

Reasonable if you just want to run on a treadmill, etc. There are some free weights, but they are not well organized and weren't given any floor space Olympic style lifts. I had a very demeaning experience with a coach, perhaps owner, when I asked for help. From the other reviews I read it seems par for the course.

The best collection of equipment you can ever get. Ex. Back pullovers. Decline flys. Variety of leg exercises including squats and leg presses and even a glute machine.

This is by far the worst gym I've ever had the pleasure of going to. The staffing hours are so odd and inconsistent that if you work during the week, you're not going to be able to acquire a membership. The facilities themselves are old, worn and being above a liquor store, you almost have to work out like a cricket. When trying to contact Olympus, they hardly ever get back to you. I tried canceling my membership two months ago, spoke to Olympus gym staff, was told it would be taken care of. And I woke up to 75.00 taken out of my account. I look back and saw that it was never taken care of and I have now lost 150$ from the prior months. I called and emailed again, vigorously, as I work during the week. Finally, days later, I was reached and they said the funds are non refundable because emails and phone calls aren't sufficient ways of canceling. I would've came in two months ago if that was the case. Poor facilities, poor staff, poor pricing,
poor gym. -Member of one year.

This is a summary of events that happened: I was a member at this gym for approximately one year. I'm a large, well-built man, former Marine, Afghanistan war combat veteran (40% disabled), I work in Law Enforcement, and I am, what some may consider, a "serious lifter." I go to the gym, focus on my workout, lift heavy weights, and come out drenched in sweat. This gym is not for serious lifters. It's for elderly people and friends of the owners. The owners cancelled my membership after a single "incident" occurred, without speaking to me or getting my side of what happened. My small gym bag and water bottle were on the floor, next to a foam mat, while I wiped down a machine. An elderly woman waited next to my things in order to verbally assault me when I approached, about how I'm "inconsiderate and rude" and how she "hates people like me." When I told her that she could go somewhere else if she didn't like the way I worked out, she informed me, ever so proudly, that she was friends with the owners and she was going to get my membership cancelled for "talking to her that way." She then proceeded to comment to another elderly woman that they "should work together to get his (my) membership cancelled." I continued my workout without a second thought, only laughing at this woman who continued to try to stare me down. That night, I was informed by email that my membership had been cancelled "effective immediately, because I had threatened two elderly women at the gym earlier that day." I emailed them back, telling them they had no right to terminate a contract for no reason, especially without even hearing my side of what happened, and that I would pursue legal action if necessary. The following day, however, I decided against that and simply wrote them another email, giving my side of what happened, and informing them that I accepted their decision and I would be leaving to sign up at a different gym where "people like me" were actually welcome. I should also mention that, on a separate occasion (about a week prior), the owner said something to me about doing deadlifts and he felt that "I gave him an attitude" when speaking to him (his complaint was that I was setting the weights down too hard and I "was going to break the floor." I told him I would try to set them down lighter and I even went and put some mats under the weights to cushion them). This incident, where I apparently "gave the owner attitude" was also brought up in conversation, in consideration of this more recent incident with the elderly woman verbally assaulting me.
So, this is what I took away from this incident: If you are a serious lifter, "people like you" (in this woman's words), will not be welcome...the owners will cancel your membership based on the accusations of their friends...and if the owner feels like you hurt his feelings, he will hold it against you until he's able to use it in conjunction with other reasons to cancel your membership.
About the gym itself: old and outdated equipment, lots of elderly folks who glare at you if you look like a person who regularly frequents a gym, trash left everywhere, bathroom/locker room never clean and always in disarray, staff never there, even during "staffed hours," and WAY overpriced (they want $15 a day from any guests you bring in for a workout...the Anytime Fitness right across the street gives FREE 7-day guest passes, and Ida Lee in Leesburg only charges $7.50 for a day pass). The rates for a membership at Olympus are also MUCH higher than other gyms in the surrounding area.
If you consider yourself a serious lifter, or if you simply look like someone who likes to work out, I would advise you to avoid this gym. There are MUCH nicer, newer, more updated, friendlier, and less-discriminatory places to work out in the area.
